Caramel finished up her cake before dropping some bits on the table. "Let's get home before this snowstorm gets too nasty" she said as she looked out the window.

 

Grand fiddled with her hooves a bit. " you must be quite excited for her to be born. I'm very excited to meet the new little alicorn"

Starburst levitated them into a small pile and levitated them towards Caramel.
"Allow me." Starburst said before pulling out a few bits with his magic and placed them next to each other on the table.

"Come on, let's go." Starburst stood up and walked towards the door. "We'll see you later Stephan."

 

"Okie dokie lokie!" Pinkie said, hopping away.

 

"I am excited, but, to be honest, I'm a little nervous too." Missy said. "We've named her Glint, meaning she was mine and Fire's glint of hope in the new world."

From all the visitors that Grand had received, Zeta didn't get a chance to talk to her so he fell asleep just a little after finishing his meal.

He had a dream of something unusual, and occasionally he tossed and turned from it. It was indeed a nightmare, one of them involving having sex with Grand.

Zeta refused to listen to what the voice in the shadows was saying, telling him about what happened in the room when his mind was controlled. It forced him into a panic, which in the real world, a sweat. And from head to hoof, he was covered almost instantly in it.

 

After a while of that, he awoke and sat up quickly, screaming a loud "NO!" in bed, possibly loud enough for everypony to hear outside the hospital even. He put his hooves to cover his face and started to cry, not knowing that both her and Missy were just across the room from him.

"See you love birds later." Stephan laughed in a joking matter as he waved them goodbye. He chatted with Pinkie as she was making his treat. "Your nephew, Starburst... he's a really cool kid. I mean that. He's even saved my life before."

 

Rainbow Dash flew out of the hospital and landed next to Light.

"Ready for another year of this, Light?" She asked.

Light nodded. "Ready as I'll ever be..."

"I know, those two seem like such a good pair." Pinkie said. "In all seriousness, i think they're going to be together for a while."

Pinkie hopped over to Steel in her usual fashion.

"Oohh, you look all dark and mysterious, a bit frowny too. Well, hopefully I can turn that frown upside-down." Pinkie giggled again. "What can I get for you, dark stallion?" Pinkie laughed again,

Grand looked over to Zetas room with concern. "What happened to him? Perhaps we should call in a nurse for him" she said as she tried to think of what could cause such an outburst from him, and her stomach twisted into knots, though she couldn't explain why.

 

Caramel smiled and walked close to Starburst. They were shoulder to shoulder as they walked down the snowy street

Steel looked at pinkie with a scowl althogh he was dark he didn't like it being pointed out and he frowned because he hadn't seen his love for over ten years so he doubted that she could cheer him up"just surprise me"steel said grimly

"I'll go check on him." Missy said, getting up out of the chair and going over to Zeta's hospital room.
"Zeta, are you OK?" Missy felt his head. "My goodness, you're burning like a furnace. Are you feeling alright?"

Starburst enjoyed the time they spent together, he planted another kiss on Caramel.

"What do you want to do, go home or see your sister?" Starburst asked.

 

"Okie dokie lokie." Pinkie giggled, then hopped away.

Stephan nodded. "I'm just glad the kid finally found somepony to love in his life. It always feels like I'm the only pony out of all of them who can't find love whatsoever." He said. "Me and my friend, Zeta, have been fighting over Caramel's sister for a long while. It's really starting to get on my nerves. Don't get me wrong. Zeta is a great guy. It's just that I think it's silly for me and him to compete over a mare."

"Ugh, I've seen enough of my sister for one day. It's kinda weird seeing your sister punt a child's doll across a park. Then again, I guess your situation wasn't any better"

 

Grand set her head back on her pillow and tried to figure out what would cost such an outburst.

"I'll go check on him." Missy said, getting up out of the chair and going over to Zeta's hospital room.

"Zeta, are you OK?" Missy felt his head. "My goodness, you're burning like a furnace. Are you feeling alright?"

 

Starburst enjoyed the time they spent together, he planted another kiss on Caramel.

"What do you want to do, go home or see your sister?" Starburst asked.

 

"Okie dokie lokie." Pinkie giggled, then hopped away.

Zeta just sat there and cried, not responding to what Missy said and didn't even bother to look up. His pulse for the heart monitor had went up 3 times the speed, slowly decreasing as time passed on. That dream of his, he couldn't believe at all. He never wanted to believe it, and was sure it didn't happen.

"Yeah....." Starburst decided not to go into the specifics as it would just freak Caramel out. "Well, at least it'll be warm inside when we get home. If not, I can just get my dad to heat up the house."

 

Missy was freaked out by Zeta at that moment.
"Zeta, pleaese, talk to me. If this is about something you did when you weren't in control of yourself, then let me tell you something I remembered." Missy looked around her. "I apparently had sex with Steel."

"But, here's the funny thing, Pinkie; I actually found your nephew on an island me and the others recently passed. You should've seen that boy. He was out there fending for himself and everything. A trooper, that boy was." He said with a laugh. "But then, when we returned him to Missy and Fire, Missy accused him of being a changeling. Can you believe that??"

"You found him on an island, why was he there in the first place?" Pinkie was sitting across from Stephan, one of the rare moments Pinkie actually acted seriously. "Well, Missy came to us, she thought he was dead. We were all really worried about what she might have done if we let her go. So we insisted that she stay with us, that was when we were all in Canterlot."

Grand closed her eyes and suddenly an image flew into her head of someone... On top of her. Her eyes shot open as her heartbeat increased and her hooves flew to her mouth. "Oh...no"

 

Caramel smiled and hugged him tightly before entering the house, which was nice and warm compared to outside. "Let's see if we can get the fireplace going!"

"I think that would be a good idea. Starburst went over to the fireplace, he stopped for a second and used a spell. It made the fireplace go." Starburst turned to Caramel. "It's one of the things I learned from my dad.

He started to slowly quiet down after she spoke that, not too surprised about the incident with both Missy and Steel. And since she already spoke that, he might of as well once his crying had gone down to a whimper. "Please don't, tell anyone but.. I-In my dream... I was, on top of... of, Grand.."

"Well, you know how I said that he once saved my life? Well, he did while we were all on the island trying to cure the outbreak. He saved me from taking a spear to the chest. Instead, he took it for me. He would've died if it weren't for Grand. Unfortunately, we all thought he was dead, and we left without him. Almost like if he just came back from the dead, but he didn't want to eat pony flesh."

Caramel put her hooves in front if the fire and smiled. "That's pretty handy. Not bad starburst" she said happily. She let out a yawn and rubbed her eyes before settling in front if the fire happily. "It's a perfect night for a nice warm fire. hearths warming eve is just around the corner too"

"You....oh...." Missy looked back towards Grand's room. "Well, I did it with another mare for an hour and a half, but I think yours is much worse than mine."

 

"Oh, well, i should probably get back to work, I'll speak to you later though." Pinkie said, smiling at Stephan. "I didn't catch your name."

 

Starburst sat right next to her, so he could feel the heat radiating from her body. Starburst levitated a blanket over the two. "I'm ready to sleep. How about you?"

Stephan kicked back in his chair and gave a smirk. "I'm Blasted Nova. Just call me Stephan." He said.

 

"Think we should take care of these clouds now?" Light asked.

Rainbow Dash gave a laugh. "And let all of this snow go away? You must be kidding, Light."

"Well, you know me. Cold weather just isn't my thing. I'd rather be working in a lab, doing research. In fact..." Light dashed back to Grand's house and flew upstairs to find an empty room.

"You....oh...." Missy looked back towards Grand's room. "Well, I did it with another mare for an hour and a half, but I think yours is much worse than mine."

 

"Oh, well, i should probably get back to work, I'll speak to you later though." Pinkie said, smiling at Stephan. "I didn't catch your name."

"I, I know.. And I feel so bad, yet since it's a dream... Is, is it fake?" He said, shedding more tears while grabbing Missy and looked her in the eyes. "It cant be real, it just cant be! You know I never would do that to a pony I love, not unless we're married... Please, I don't want it to be real..."

Caramel smiled and snuggled up next to him, laying her head on his chest. "I agree, today's been exhausting" she yawned. She nuzzled him and pulled up the blankets to her chin before closing her eyes and falling asleep. The fire warmed her up as she snuggled up against starburst

Starburst simply smiled and pulled Caramel closer, then fell asleep.

 

Missy looked at Zeta with sympathetic eyes.
"I'm sorry, Zeta but I can't lie to you." Missy said. "All that matters is that we move on."

 

"Alright, Stephan, I'll be seeing you around, hopefully." Pinkie smiled. "Oh by the way, here's your cake." Pinkie put the cake down in front of him. "Have a nice day." Pinkie said before hopping away.

Stephan ate his cake quickly, since he wanted to get back out on the path. He left a hefty tip for Pinkie and left to get to the hospital to check on Zeta. When he entered Zeta's room, it looked like he was having a breakdown. "Dude, are you doing okay?" Stephan asked him in a calm tone.
