Steel was abou to sit down ehh he heard moonwave he looked over his shoulder " ummmmm ok then" steel said he thought about waking her up and giving her her gift but decided to let her sleep

Grand smiled. "I haven't started yet but I was thinking stir fry, does that work for you?" She asked, grabbing some vegetable from her fridge and beginning to chop them up

 

Caramel waved over one of the cakes and pointed out a particularly rich looking chocolate cake. She threw some bits on the table and began carrying the cake back to grands hoise

"yea thanks grand" steel said "should we wake her up somethig" steel asked "I mean she made a mess on the blanket she's sharing with Siri.."steel trailed off unsure of what to do he stated looking thru his bag and did a check to make sure all the gifts where still there

"So, how're things going with you and Caramel?" Missy asked.

"There's something I'm going to tell you, but you can't tell anypony." Starburst said.

"Sure, what is it?" Missy replied, a little concerned.

"I only had it for a short amount of time, but the cancer really forced me to look at what I wanted, and I realised...." Starburst said.

"So, what do you want from life?" Missy asked.

"Tomorrow...." Starburst shook off his self-confidence issues and continued. "....I want to ask her to marry me."

"She what?" Grand said rushing into the living room. She sighed. "My couch.." She groaned, looking at Moon. "I guess I'll have to clean it once she wakes up." She said, walking back into the kitchen and throwing the vegetables into a pan

 

Caramel them ran into the house and stuffed the cake into the fridge

 

"Caramel, be careful! That's a cake not a sack of garbage" grand said, checking the cake.

"hello caramel you want a gift"steel said reaching into his bag and pulling out a wrapped box wit the letter c on it he handed it to her

Stephan walked up to the counter and sat next to Fire. He ordered a couple shots of cherry whiskey and began drinking.

"Congratulations on Glint, Fire." Stephan smiled. "She's absolutely perfect." He said, drinking his whiskey.

"Yeah, also, to you and Rainbow Dash." Fire raised up his bottle. 2You two couldn't be better suited for each other."

 

The two sat in silence for a small while, Missy just stared at Starbrust making him feel uncomfortable.
"You want to marry her?" Missy asked.

"Yes." Starburst answered.

"You've been dating for four months." Missy responded.

"I know, but I'm in love with her, I can't help how I feel." Starburst said.

Stephan raised up his shot glass and toasted with Fire.

"Hopefully we last longer than we did when I first fell into Equestria." He said. "I just hope Grand doesn't feel sad at all. I know she would support me and Dash all the way, but I'm a little concerned. I've been going after her for nearly a decade, and I'm back together with the mare that I'd least expect to take me back."

"Don't say anything like that Stephan, you're the most loyal and dependable stallion I've ever met, and I'm honored to have you as my friend." Fire said taking another drink. "Now let's get drunk, well, for you it won't take long." Fire laughed at that.

 

"Are you really sure you want to do this?" Missy asked.

"Yes, I do, I really do." Starburst replied.

Caramel smiled. "Thanks steel, but I have to go get streamers" she said before heading out the door and running to the party supplies store.

 

Grand just shook her head and got two plates of stirfry ready. "Here you go, I hope it's good enough, it was just a quick dinner" she said before moving Sirius off the couch and into the chair

"I would think she would want to open it now oh well and thanks grand I'm sure it's good" steel said "besides I normally just eat oats or trail mix" steel added as he sat caramel's gift on the table steel began to eat "this is really good"steel said as he took another bite

Dash was feeling more excited than she thought she would. She was reading a Daring Do book. It was called: "Daring Do and the Skull of Ages", it was always fun reading a good Daring Do novel.

"Very funny, Fire. No really. You're a funny stallion." He said as he took another drink. "Oh, that cherry whiskey's so good. Much better than that slop you call 'beer' "

Siri slowly woke up by being carried over to the chair, rubbing her two eyes and saw that both Grand and Steel were eating. Slowly she jumped down and walked over to the two, giving a cute wave. "Hey you two.. Dinner time already? I get quite hungry after sleeping, but hopefully I was just in time.~"

"We'll, of course you are Sirius, are there any foods you don't like? I'll be sure to make sure you're stir fry has only food you like" she said, grabbing another plate and putting on some stir fry. "I hope you had a good sleep, though I doubt you'll be going to bed anytime soon after that nap" she said with a warm smile

"Beer isn't the best drink in the world, favorite one is scotch, so good...." Fire said. "Beer is just for if you want to be drunk, it's the most effective way to do it."

 

"It's settled, tomorrow, I'm going to make a speech or something, then...." Starburst said.

"Then what?" Missy asked.

"Then.....well... hope she says yes." Starburst smiled nervously.

 

-The next morning-

 

Starburst opened his eyes, the room was decorated with streamers and stuff.

"Wow, she really worked hard on this." Starburst said.

Steel looked at Siri then got up dug in his bag but and pulled out yet another wrapped box "get Siri do you like presents " steel asked as he held the box just out of her reach forgetting the fact she could could grab it with magic ((the gift is what you want it to be))

Stephan woke up in his house and looked outside and grinned. The assassin was taken down, Rainbow Dash was his marefriend again, and it was Starburst's birthday. It looked as if nothing could go wrong, and that worried him a tad bit. He grabbed his jacket and walked outside, trotting his way to Fire's place.

"It's alright, I eat whatever I can get!" She said before munching down on the delicious stirfry. Meanwhile doing that, she picked up the present and looked at it for a moment before opening it. Inside there was a nice necklace which had a nice heart in the middle. "Oh wow!" Siri replied back, so happy that she had a hard time putting it on eve with her magic. "This looks so beautiful, I bet my mom will be happy about this~ Thank you Steel!!"

 

-The next day-

 

Moon woke up, still a little tired but was able to get up and stretched. Another day, was another one to live out life to the fullest. "Grand? Grand honey, where are you?"

Fire woke up face down on Grand's floor, he woke up with a massive headache. He realised something.

"SHIT!" He yelled, trying to get up but hitting his head off of the bottom of a table. "Dammit!" He got up off the ground and attempted to stand up straight.

 

(Hangovers are the best part of alcohol.)

Steel nodded " well I should be off" steel said as he left he went home and did nothing if interest

 

The next day

 

Steel woke up and grabbed the bag of presents he still had to give most of them out he decided that he should so buy and see starburst, he flew to the hospital and walked into starbursts room "happy birth day" steel said as he handed starburst a wrapped box

"Knock, knock." Stephan said, shutting the door behind him. He then looked at Fire and smirked. "Looks like you're the one with a hangover this time, buddy." He said, laughing a little. "Fire, where's your boy? I want to wish him a happy birthday."

"He's still in the hospital, what a great time to have a hangover." Fire walked past Stephan slapping him lightly on the cheek as he walked past. "Come on, let's go."

 

Starburst looked over at Caramel who was still sleeping then turned back to Steel.

"Thank you, Steel, I wonder what's in it." Starburst opened it. It was.....a ring, specifically one with a diamond on it.

"Steel? What is this? Did you hear my conversation with Stephan?"

Stephan rolled his eyes a bit and walked outside with Fire. 

"I told you that you were drinking too much, man. But, nope. Never listen to the stallion that barely reads..." He said, throwing up his hood. "How old is your son today, Fire? Sixteen? Seventeen? I first met him eight or nine years ago."
