"Well, I'm sure your brother wouldn't mind you crashing at his place. Seeing as how he's kind of.....you know.....dead." Fire said. "Anyway, I'll be off, Grand, you can deal with this, Zeta, follow me."

 

"Thank you guys I'm gonna go see her, can somepony take Glint? I don't want her too see her own mother like that." Starburst asked.

"No, no, of course I do.... I just......" Fire looked behind Grand and noticed Steel staggering about and drinking. "Excuse me for a moment." Fire walked towards Steel. "Steel, have you been drinking all morning?" Fire asked.

 

"After everything that's happened, I just want to spend as much time as I can with her, to protect her, to guard her from anypony who might harm her." Starburst said.

Moon nodded and smiled to Starburst, then bent down and kissed Glint on the forehead. "Alright then, you be like her father and Caramel be her mother. I might as well add in, but if you need any nutritional milk then I have plenty. Remember, i'm a full on giver so I don't stop making it."

"I would but you had it blown up"steel called the turned to grand " who are you and who where to my brother" steel asked then he drank some more rum "I think I'm going to go get a diffrent drink do you want something" steel asked as he too yet another drink

Grand sighed and turned to him. "Alright, let's get you sobered up then. Follow me, I'll get a cold bath started" she said, motioning for the intoxicated Steel to follow. "Then once your coherent we can talk"

 

Caramel smiled and waved goodbye to Sirius before following Starburst. " I'll come with you, in case you need a but of support " she said softly

Starburst looked up at a small calendar, it would be a few weeks until Hearth's Warming, the first Hearth's Warming in a while, without Missy. "Alright, I'm going to see her, see you guys in a little while." Starburst placed Glint on the chair and went to Missy's room, he looked into the room, there had been no change in her condition. He walked into the room and sat next to her.

"Mum, I believe that ponies like you in your condition can hear the words spoken to you, so......I'll let you tell her this time, Caramel." Starburst smiled.

"I'll take that as a no" steel said as he drained the bottle of rum " woohoooo Bottle number four gone and I don't want to be sober I want drink till I can't drink no more besides your friends with the stallion that killed my brother why would I follow you anywhere?" steel asked while keeping his voice disguised

Moon took Glint in her arms and rocked her gently. "Your big brother will be back soon, okay? Hopefully for not as long as my big brother, I haven't seen him for 8 straight years.."

 

Zeta followed behind Fire, away from Steel and Grand. "Alright, so now where to?"

Fire had had enough of Steel and his crap, but he remembered what Grand said about no violence so he walked away.

"Frankly, I don't know, I guess I try and find a job of some kind." Fire turned around. "Oh by the way, Grand, did I tell you that Steel was the one that tried to kill Missy? Oh, and even better, that's him right there. Good bye." Fire walked away with Zeta next to him.

Grand sighed. "You give me no choice" she said, picking him up with her magic. "I'm an actress steel, I know a dyed coat and a fake voice when I hear one" she said, carrying him back to her house. "It doesn't really matter, you won't remember much of this, judging by how intoxicated you are"

 

Caramel looked at starburst. "Are you sure? Alright" she said, walking up to Missy's bed. "Starburst and I... We are engaged. We aren't getting married anytime soon, but it's official" she said happily

"I'm never going to be able to forgive Steel for what he's done, I couldn't care less if he drinks his guilt away every night of his living life." Starburst said. "I just can't believe something like this would happen to such a kind pony." Starburst took Missy's hoof. "You better be awake by Hearth's Warming, I'm warning you." Starburst said, semi-threateningly, but the sadness clear in his voice.

Steel struggled and tried to break free of the magic " I don't care I just want to drink and at least have some illusion of happiness" steel said he was able to get into his bag to get his Boyle of vodka he began to drink it he stopped long enough to burp then he drank some more

"Well I don't care what you think, your under my care now, and I can help, if you'll let me" she said, opening the door to her house and putting Steel on the couch. "I'll come get you in just a moment" she said, going to run a cold bath

 

Caramel put her hoof on Stsrbursts shoulder. "She will, I promise. Maybe we should go for a walk"

"Yes, yes I can't stay here any longer, it makes me feel angry, seeing her like this." Starburst said. "Let's go." Starburst left the room and waited for Caramel. "I'm sure Missy would be over the moon about us. I just know it." Starburst smiled at the thought, she deserved to be spending time with her new-born baby, not lying in a coma after being the victim of an attempted murder.

Steel sat there and drank some more he got up and tried to leave but he couldn't get the door open he started looking for another way out but couldn't find one so he took flight and pressed himself aginst the ceiling and drank somemore hopeing that grand wouldn't notice him

Once the bath was ready she went back into the room. "I didn't lock the door Steel, your just too drunk to function properly, now let's go. The least you could do us cooperate" she said, plucking him off the roof and dropping him in the tub. "After this you should go to bed for a bit until you feel better"

 

Caramel followed and smiled. "Do you think so?"

Steel had somehow manged to keep his bottle and began to chug it he stopped once he drained the bottle " fine I wont fIght but i won't help either" steel said as the dye on his body began to fade he looked and sighed " I'll have to remember to buy permanent dye next time" steel said he checked his mane and was glad to see the dye wouldn't fade in the bath

"I do, she would love the idea." Starburst started walking, but then he kissed Caramel, passionately, he put his hoof around the back of her neck, continuing kissing her. He didn't know that they were right outside Sirius' room, luckily, Moon couldn't see, but Sirius.

Siri could hear things coming from behind the door, so she grabbed a stool with her magic and put it next to the door. Then she hopped up on it and saw the two kissing and giggled to herself. "Love, such a wonderful thing..~" She said before jumping down and stuck the stool back where it was, then secretly exited the room without them noticing and got under them. It was funny to see the two kiss from above, hiding her laughter as best as she could. Then, a drop of saliva fell and hit her snout, which she let out a tiny giggle and shut her mouth.

Caramel was surprised, but she giggled and kissed him back. Suddenly she heard a giggle coming from... Below her. She looked down a squealed, jumping up. "Oh, you scared me Sirius" she said, only the slightest bit embarassed

 

Grand pulled the bottle away and sighed. "Can you at least sober up enough to have a decent conversation. With me?" She said tiredly

"Ahhh! Sirius, what are you doing there? Can't you see things are private...Celestia.....you're just like your mother aren't you? Well, go back in there. we're busy." Starburst said, slightly embarassed now. Starburst began kissing Caramel again, slightly self-conscious now.

Siri just smiled and faked walking off, using the clone spell again as her duplicate wandered off. But she was still under the two in reality, and on occasion when she thought the two was not looking she would peer near the lower section of each of them to compare.

After a bit of that though, she was too willing to know what something of Starburst's was and poked at a certain something of his. "Teehe~ I might be like my mom, but what's this?" She said, poking at it again and giggled as it wiggled a little.

Starburst jumped and backed away, noticing Sirius there again.
"SIRIUS! What are you doing? Don't do that, that's wrong on like 3 different levels, never do that again!! NEVER!!" Starburst was out of breath, he looked up at Caramel, then levitated Sirius into the room and closed the door.
"I guess this will have to be cut short, huh?"

Caramel watched Starburst fly away and sighed, turning her attention. "Alright, I think we need to talk. How old are you again?" She asked, sitting down

 

Grand smiled. "I just want to help you. Your complicated, you know. You hide your emotions for the sake if your reputation, and instead channel your guilt and anger into your alcoholism. It's not healthy, and I want to help you find a healthier way to control these emotions"

"I drink to forget, and yes I hid my emotions so what iv survived with out them" steel said " and idon'tcare if it's healthy I died twice already I shouldn't even be here grand... " steel got of the tub and grabbed a towel to dry off " grand could you get me some white dye that won't rinse out" steel asked
