"I understand, Fire. That place could've caused something major." Stephan said, turning back to Zeta. "I don't know, Zeta. I just want to be with Rainbow Dash, make her happy, and be with her for the rest of my days here in Equestria, y'know? But, until I get over the mare I've been chasing for a decade, I'll never be able to do that." He said, taking another drink.

He nodded and took the drink away from Stephan, then had one himself and coughed. "Man I haven't drunken one in a while... Anyways, I guess talking isn't gonna do much. You just need to tell yourself that you wont love her anymore, and force yourself really hard not to alright? I mean, force yourself." Then Zeta poured out the drink into the grass and handed back the empty bottle. "Lets start here."

"Actually at first, I wanted you to have her. But over time I've grown attached to her for some reason, and I couldn't separate it." He said back with a little sigh. "If this gift, or curse of me loving someone wasn't there, then you would of probably been with her, and she would of still been a virgin.. Ugh, why are we making such a fuss about her virginity- wait, nevermind.. Because I had sex, that's why.."

Back at the hospital, Moon woke up and was feeding Glint some bottled milk. Sirius was learning how to walk again after having magic surgery done, and was getting the hang of it.

"I've thought about that, and i'm 41..." Zeta replied with a little sigh. "It might seem wrong, but.. My mother, she was 9 years older then my dad and he never cared. That's a question to ask with both of us, since in my honest opinion she never cared about my age. I never cared either, as long as I loved her.."

Starburst had been to see Twilight who was very busy, he went to the library and found the old game machine, him and Caramel were on their way back home.

"This baby's powered by magic, completely renewable energy-powered gaming." Starburst said, holding the large cabinet in his magic.

"Wow, haven't seen that old thing in a while." Fire said, walking over to them.

"It's no problem, let me know if you need any touch ups" she said, cleaning up the dye. "And feel free to stop by if you need some help"

 

Caramel smiled. "I can't wait to try it, it's so cool" she said excitedly. As Fire came up to them her smile faded a bit. "Oh, it's good to see you've recovered a bit"

Stephan shrugged.

"It always just seemed like a big concern to me. But I'm glad it's answered." He said. "Moving on." He took a deep breath before speaking again. "When we were in our little competition, do you think I would've had any chance.in having her? Before I left Appleoosa, this morning, I told her that me and her were like Chrysalis trying to make peace with the princesses, that it just couldn't work out."

"I was a big time gamer when I was young, this was basically my whole life, well, except for school." Starburst said.
"I always beat him on it though, he could never figure out how." Fire said. "Bet I can still beat you."
"In your dreams old-timer." Starburst joked. Fire laughed a little at the "old timer" thing. He looked at Caramel and noticed the ring on her horn.
"Oh that's right, I never got the opportunity to properly congratulate you two." Fire said. "It's great news, we all knew you two were meant for each other." Starburst giggled and blushed a bit.

"Thank you Fire. Do you want to head back to the house Starburst? It's getting chilly" she said, shivering. "We can try and get the fireplace started, I'm no good with that kind of magic though" she said, blowing a curly hair out of her face. "You ca probably manage though"

"ok and you never answered me is there a spare place for me to stay" steel asked glad that grand hadn't asked why he didn't like law enforcement - she probably assumes it is because iv been a criminal fire most of my life I wish out was that simple - steel thought

"I might as well come along then, seeing as how fire is my specialty and all." Fire said.
"Come on then. let's go." Starburst said, giving Caramel a small kiss. Soon they reached the house. Alright, let's open the door and get this thing up and running. Dad, can you put on the fireplace." But then he heard a voice, one which annoyed him deeply. The anger was clear when he slammed the machine down.

"Oh, well my house is pretty full, and Fire might not appreciate it, so I'll keep my eyes open for a place. Sorry" she said, finishing up cleaning. "If you ask around town I'm sure you'll be able to track something down." She sighed, remembering most of her things were still in appleloosa. She jumped when the machine was slammed down. "Oh, hello Fire, Starburst,... Caramel"

Steel nodded "that's ok I'll find a place" steel said then left with out saying anything to the other ponies he walked to town hall "Ms sparkle since firehorn had my house blown up I need it rebuilt now will ponyvile pay for that since the mayor caused there destruction " steel asked not bothering to good his voice since she knew the truth

"I have a lot to do right now, and I can't risk any illegal operations, so no, that will not be approved, however, if you got a job and contributed towards Ponyville, I might just reconsider." Twilight was wearing small reading glasses. "Am I understood?"

 

Starburst watched as Steel walked out of the house, he banged his hoof on the arcade machine, inadvertently causing it to switch on.
"Grrrr, he just makes me so angry!" Starburst said. "He's out there living his life, while my mum is in hospital, with a risk of permanent brain damage because of him." Starburst stomped his hind leg on the ground in frustration.

"Don't worry, just ignore him." Fire said.

Caramel glared at her sister. "Starburst and I are going to my room" she said, picking up the machine and pulling Starburst to her room

 

Grand sighed and sat down on the couch. "Can I get you anything Fire?" She asked distractedly. "I hope you aren't mad at me for helping Steelm. He wants to make up for his mistakes, I can feel it"

Steel sighed " fine Ill rebuild it myself" steel said "and if you can find a job that fits me and my talents then you let me know oh and let's not forget I donated 100,000 bits or the rations I got for ponyville that nopony else could or that with out my plan pinkie would be dead" steel said the turned to walk out

Twilight shook her head as Steel left.

 

"No, Grand, I could never really be mad at you, you're just being kind, it's your element after all." Fire said. "As mine is honesty, I must tell you, until Missy wakes up, I can't even begin to think about how Steel could ever make up for this."

 

Starburst was caught off guard by Caramel.

"Are you alright? Don't tell me you're still mad at your sister." Starburst said, fiddling with the cabinet.

"I know, but I just want to help him be a better pony. I know he can, I've just got to find a way to reach out to him. You know what? Let's change the subject. Are you hungry?"

 

Caramel sighed. "I can't help it. I know she came back and all, but leaving like that is just the worst thing she could do. I can't help but be mad, it's just in my personality"

Light had finished up his work at the theatre for today. He was sure that Grand and Fire would be please as to how fast and steady it's coming along. He flew back to the house and took off his building cap.

"Hey, Grand. Hey, Fire. What have you two been up to?" He asked upon walking in.

"I just want to warn you right now Grand, there are some ponies that just can't be helped, no matter how hard you try. So just prepare yourself for that." Fire said, sitting next to her, he was about to ask Grand why she left but Light interrupted. "Well, Grand has been......you know what, I want your opinion, would you forgive Steel for what he did, if he killed, say, Stephan, would you forgive him?"

 

"I understand that, and I completely respect that. Grudges are a nasty thing, mine against Steel is justified, but you know your sister never intended to hurt anypony with her actions." Starburst said, the small screen lit up.

Caramel sighed. "Yeah, its dumb. But your way more calm than I am. I'm sure you noticed I dont exactly have the best control over my temper" She sighed, looking over to the game. "I'm sure my anger will blow over, it usually does. I'm nasty at first, but I dont keep grudges for very long"

 

"I dont expect you to forgive him, I'm just trying to ease the pain. If I can get Steel to do things around town, maybe at least he'll be seen in a better light" Grand said

Light sat across from Fire and sighed.

"I wouldn't forgive him if he willingly killed him over blood lust. I'd make it my goal to exact revenge. But, I doubt he has intentions on doing so." He assured himself and Fire. "If you're still getting worked up over that stallion, I'd try my best to find some good in the poor soul."
