Cara opened the door, smiling at Stewart. "Hey, come on in" she said happily, until Greta interrupted

 

"Stewart you need to tell your mother about this whole mess, I just hit off the phone with her and had to lie about you and the train and everything" she said, clearly overreacting.

 

Cara sighed and rolled her eyes. " yeah, I was gonna ask him about it, but I see you've got it covered"

"I can't do that, I've already endangered you two, I'm not bringing my mother into this." Stewart replied. "That guy thought of going after you and if a brick-head like him can think of that, then so can the others."

 

Missy got up and started getting ready, she was going to find out what was going on.

"So you want me to continue lieing to your mother? I don't like lieing to her, it's certainly not easy" Greta said, crossing her arms

 

Cara rolled her eyes. "It's for her own safety Greta, can you please keep it up just a bit longer?"

 

Suddenly Caras phone went off. "Oh, just a minute" she said, going out of the room to answer it. On the other end, Serena spoke

 

"hi, cara? It's Serena, I just finished a show and have some time to kill, are you busy?"

 

"Uh, yeah in sorta in the middle of something, I'll let you know when I'm free though

Stewart looked on as she walked away.

"I want to keep my mother safe, she can't know anything about this." Stewart said.

 

Missy walked outside, she looked around, the city had become a dangerous place, even during the day. So she watched her back as she walked down the street.

Greta sighed. "Fine, but I'm not making any promises about slipping up, these lies are beginning to get difficult to keep up with" she said, sitting down at the table

 

Serena sighed. "Alright, I'll wait. It's just so boring being in a new city alone, you seem like you know the place. Anyway, I won't keep you any longer, good luck with whatever your dealing with"

 

Cara put the phone down and walked back into the kitchen

"Who was that, Cara?" Stewart asked. "You don't know who could be watching, trying to use you to get to me, and if that happens, they could do a whole lot worse than kill you, so I'd recommend watching who you're talking to." Stewart had a concerned expression, trying to not seem angry.

"It's fine Stewart, it's just a girl I met. She travels so she wants someone to show her the city and I said I would. Not everyone in New York is a murderer" Cara said, sitting down.

 

Greta sighed. "I need to take a minute. Knowing your mother she will be here in no time, the way I hung up. She's a very curious woman that's for sure"

Stephan nodded.

"I promise, Dash. You can count on me to get through a tight situation." He said, leaning in a kissing her. "Right now, I don't care much for my own well-being. The only two I care about right now are you and Sirius. I'm going to do everything I can to keep you two safe, even if it means doing something so risky, it could cost me my life in a heartbeat."

"Who? What's her name? Is this that Serena you were talking to?" Stewart continued asking. "Just, tell me when you're going to meet her, I need to see how she operates."

 

Missy had just reached the apartment.

"Hmm, it was really strange. I have to find out more." Missy said to herself.

 

"Well, good." Dash said, smiling. "Wanna do something?"

"Been getting reports that Fuse has been taken down too, now, this next one, Serena is a tricky customer, she's a magician by trade, she uses her magic to dazzle her victims and kills them shortly after." Archer explained. "No previous criminal records, at least not as far as the NYPD are concerned."

"If you must know every person I come into contact with, yeah it was her" she said, irritated at her lack of freedom. "Anything else you wanna know?"

 

Greta checked outside to see Missy. "Yeah, just as I thought. Your mothers here Stewart" she said, turning towards them

Because Sirius didn't exactly wanna lie there the whole time and actually fall asleep, she fake yawned, then rubbed her eyes and got up from the couch. She looked over to the two, going up to both of them and smiled. "Hi daddy, hi miss Dash! I was just taking a nice nap, since I was still a little tired from yesterday. But, I feel fine now. Is anything happening today~?"

"Alright then, I'd best be off then, remember what I said about her Cara, she's dangerous, just like the others." Stewart said, putting the mask back on and diving through one of the windows and gliding softly to the ground.

 

Missy walked up the stairs and reached the door to the apartment, she knocked on the door.

"Hello, are you alright?" Missy asked.

 

"Alright, we've got details on 3 assassins right now, we've got Serena, the magician. Mike, the mentalist. And Zero." Archer said.

Greta sighed, and opened the door, putting on a smile. "oh, hi Missy, I wasn't expecting you. Come on in" she said, ushering her in before closing the door behind her. "So how are things going?" She said, sitting down

 

Cara sighed, looking out the window before heading into her room

"Things are good, haven't gotten round to any kind of work today, I've been thinking a lot about a few things." Missy said. "You hung up really quickly, is there something going on right now, are you having trouble with your sister....?" Missy stood, fiddling with her hands.

 

"Well, I don't know what else we can do, kiddo. We're not exactly familiar with this city." Dash said.

"Oh no, it was nothing. I just left something on the stove a bit too long is all. Are you hungry? Thirsty? Perhaps a coffee?" Greta said, getting up and going over to the kitchen. "I've got plenty to eat, what are you feeling" she asked, rummaging through her fridge. "Do you still have that headache? I have some Advil if you'd like"

"No, no, I'm fine, I've been planning to tell Stewart about what's happening, and he's never around long enough for me to tell him." Missy said, thinking back. "The first time that Watcher guy appeared on the news, that was when he started acting strangely. Maybe.......no, that's not it. He's just a teenager, he can't be some vigilante.......can he?"

"Well, now that you're back on your feet again, we could go out for some winter fun." Stephan said to Dash. "Maybe we could go ice-skating? Or snowboarding, which is one of my personal favorites." He asked, walking into the coat closet and putting on a winter coat.

"Ice Skating and snow boarding?" Siri replied, since she was already up and facing both Stephan and Dash (( if you read my last post )). She cocked her head to the side, trying to remember. "Oh! Oh yeah, I remember~! I've seen ponies do things like it, and it's soo cool!"

"Uh, Stephan....even if I wanted to, I couldn't do anything like that. I'm only able to walk. I can't do any sports like that." Dash said to him. "But if that's what you wanna do, then that'll be fine with me, it's just one of the limitations of having me as a girlfriend." Dash smirked.

Steven finished his calls "no one knows anything about Serena I'm setting up the meting with Mike let watcher know in case he wants to be there while it goes down " Steven as he took another long draw from his cigarette and dialed his phone

Mike Sat on a bench when his phone started playing hail to the king

"hello Steven I trust you have the information alright I'll see you at central park in two hours " mike said

"Yes, you've got an assassin to take down, take this and I'll keep track of your progress." Archer replied.

"Alright, what is it?" Stewart asked.

"It's a communicator, let's us speak to each other. Like a phone but more discrete, just put that somewhere concealed and then just use the earpiece." Stewart attached the device to his belt and the earpiece in his ear, and then he put the mask on.

Stephan sat back down next to his girlfriend.

"Not unless I teach you. I could modify one of my snowboards to fit with your unfortunate... disadvantages." Stephan said, regarding her legs. "Trust me. Once you have it down, snowboarding is a fun experience."
