Zeta sighed and nodded to agree with Luna, then bent down and opened up the gift with his mouth since he was still cuffed. After unwrapping the paper and kicking off the tiny lid, he peered inside and saw a sweet little chocolate (( basically a hershey's kisses )). It took a moment to think a bit as he looked into the chocolate, and smiled a little. "L-Luna, thank you... Even this gift is amazing to me.. B-but, can I eat it..?"

"Yes. It's Hearth's Warming after all." She leaned in to him. "Let's just say it's a replacement for the actual kind." Luna went back to her original place. "Anyway, I'll have to go over this with Tia, and I'll do what I can to help you, but this is a very serious charge, I hope you know that."

 

Starburst walked out of the room and got Dash.

"Stephan! What happened?" Dash ran to his side. "Are you OK?"

"Yes, I know... But, Luna.. Even if you can't get me out, i'm fine.. Really... Just, whatever you do, please.. Please, don't let Grand Finale visit me. It would only break her heart knowing where I would be right now.." He said while eating the chocolate, then soon finished up and swallowed down his little gift. (( No, not the box, the chocolate )) "Anyways, thanks for visiting me again, and i'm sorry..."

Stephan looked up at Dash and smiled at her, coughing a little bit into his mask.

"Yeah, Dash, I'm alright. Though, it doesn't look like I'll be going anywhere for awhile." He said, putting his hoof to the mare's cheek. "They're going to have surgery done on me. They say it's the only way that my body will be able to recover properly."

"You're gonna be OK? That's a relief, I thought I was gonna have to be one of those mares, the emotional ones." Dash laughed a bit. "So anyway, I'll be here, don't worry."

 

"Grand Finale? As I understood you two are quite good friends, why would you not want her here?" Luna asked.

Steel threw the crystal into the fire and it exploded so steel was lifted into the air and was given the healers touch with it his right hoof turned white, steel was dropped and the fire dissipated steel stood up and warped his hoof and walked to grands house but on the way grell told him about Stephan steel ran to the hospital "Stephan if you want I can heal completely " steel said

Fire got to the theatre.

"Grand. GRAND!?" Fire yelled. "Where are you?"

 

Starburst led Caramel away from the room.

"Right, we still have work to do." Starburst fell into Caramel lightly, but they didn't fall over.

 "Sorry, I'm a bit wobbly right now, but I'll be fine, really."

Zeta looked away a bit and sniffled. "M-me, and Grand... We've been together, as a couple for a while.. Ever since living through my surgery to get cancer removed, she and I begun dating, but... I, I found out today, that we're really both unsure of our relationship.. Now i'm just waiting for her, to decide if she really wants to be with me or not.."

"If not seeing her is what you want then, I'll make sure she doesn't come here." Luna got up and walked to the door. "I'm not worried about you going to prison, I'm worried that you want to." Luna left, she told the guards to stop anyone by the name of Grand Finale to see him. "That's an order." Luna said.

"Yes, your highness." The guards said.

Luna turned and went out of the station and set on her way back to Canterlot Castle.

"I think you should go and celebrate Hearth's Warming with your family while I go through my surgery, Dash." Stephan told her. He didn't want her to worry too much about him He had faith that he'd walk out of the hospital by the end of Hearth's Warming . Then, him and Dash and have a nice time together on the night.

Grand looked up from her work. "Um, yes? Fire is that you?" She said, walking out if her office. "Is... Is something the matter?" She asked, a little fidgety

 

Caramel smiled and helped Starburst keep his balance. "What kind of flowers should we get?' She asked, trying to brighten up the mood

Zeta sighed again and mumbled to himself shortly after, looking back down to the table. "I don't want to go to jail, but.... I, don't want to live with this guilt too.. I'm so sorry Stephan, please, i'm so sorryy..." He began crying again as he laid his head down on the table. "I'm so sorry Stephan...."

"Yes, flowers, I think roses are the best ones to go with, but I think you'd be the best judgement on that." Starburst said.

 

"Yes, Stephan's in the hospital, you're not gonna like this, Grand." Fire said. "He was attacked by Zeta, now what you need to do is just stay calm."

 

"Alright, but I really don't want to leave you here." Dash said. "They don't call me loyalty for nothing."

Steel unwrapped his hoof "Stephan I can heal you with out any surgery any pain if you want if you'd rather I'll leave you be " steel said "I know that you or anypony trusts me anymore " steel wanted to help but he wouldn't if Stephan refused his help he wouldn't force Stephan

Grand looked at him, unsure how to react. "Why would he... Stephan's in the hospital? Then where's Zeta? I need to go to the hospital, those doctors don't know what they're doing, I need to see him, and Zetz too, is he alright, where us he?" She said, walking past Fire. "Oh, this is all my fault" she said, heading for the door at a slightly faster pace, resisting the urge to panic.

"I'm afraid you don't have much of a choice, Dash. My operation begins tonight, and when it starts, they want all other ponies that aren't experts at this sort of thing to stay away from my hospital room." Stephan said with a sad tone in his voice. "If I get out before the end of Hearth's Warming, though, I promise we'll spend time together during the hours left."

"But I....." Dash stopped. "Okay, and if you don't get out, I'll have to spend another Hearth's Warming night alone." Dash walked out and went to her own house, unable to go inside she just sat there.

 

"Grand? Grand! Don't panic, don't. Just stay calm." Fire kept on saying. "Everything's fine."

"I'm... I'm fine Fire,bust take me to the hospital. Those doctors are useless, I'll handle Stephan" she said stiffly, walking along quickly "I might give those nurses a piece of my mind for not advising me first thing"

 

Caramel smiled. "Alright, roses it is then!" She said with a smile. " and your dad suggested tulips as well. What do you think?"

"Right, there's actually something I've been meaning to talk to you about, the theatre, could it potentially be used as a wedding venue?" Fire asked.

 

"I don't know, my mum's favorite is tulips, go with roses, you know, just to be different." Starburst said. "Now, did you sort out cakes?"

"Oh! Yep, I have two picked out. A chocolate cheesecake, or a red velvet cake. Which one do you like better?" She asked, smiling

 

Grand stopped for a moment and took a few deep breaths. "I don't mean to be rude Fire, but I'm not sure right now is an ideal time to talk about wedding venues" she said in a forced nice voice. "Now, would you please tell me which room Stephan is in, I'd rather keep my interaction with the hospital staff to a minimum"

"Alright, I'll do one better, I'll take you to him." Fire led Grand to Stephan's room. "I'll leave you two to talk."

 

"I don't know, cheesecake isn't very wedding-esque, but the red velvet cake sounds really good for some reason, I guess we'll just hvae to look into it a bit more. Oh, yeah. My gran is up to it, she says she's available whenever."

Stephan felt a bit bad about having Rainbow Dash leave. Still, it was probably for the best. The surgery could potentially kill him. If that were to happen, he wouldn't want her to witness it. It'd scar her forever. He could only hope for a Hearth's Warming miracle so he could spend Hearth's Warming with the others.

"Okay, yeah I guess the cheese cake one was a bit weird, but I love red velvet! And I'm glad Twilight is available" she said happily, nuzzling Starburst gently

 

Grand walked into the room and looked directly at Stephan. Her eyes softened from their hardened expression when she saw his condition. "Where's your doctor? I want to speak to him" she said, turning her head away from his beaten body
