Missy saw Stephan and pushed herself up into a sitting position, immediately after that, coughing tiredly.

"Stephan, it's good to see you to, I haven't seen you in 10 years, since Fire's funeral." Missy said, trying a weak smile. "How have you and Rainbow Dash been?"

 

"Well, alright then. C'mere Sandy, get on my back." Sky said. "And bring that element with you." Sandy got in his back and they both flew up out of the ruins.

Stephan walked up to Missy, aware that she was anything BUT happy.

"Me and Dashie are doing alright. We're both happy together ever since I gave up adventuring." He said, sitting down next to her. "You don't look very good, Missy. Have you come down with something? I hope it isn't too serious."

Antares gave a nod, and after calming Electron down, he picked him up and began flying away with the element around him.

 

Auria just looked to Cloud and smiled, sticking her element in the saddlebag. "Alright, stand up on two hooves. I'll hook your arms and pull you out, okay?"

 

Moon was out looking for everypony, not noticing Stephan had already went inside. The first place she went to was Starburst's and Caramel's, giving a knock.

Missy cleared her throat.

"Actually, Stephan, you're not gonna like this. I'm dying... long-term stress has done a number on me and now it's my time. I regret a lot of things in my life, like leaving Ponyville, leaving all my friends behind, if it weren't for me, Fire wouldn't have died so early."

 

Starburst sighed and walked to the door and opened it.

"Moon? What are you doing here?" Starburst asked.

Cloud got on his two hind hooves, held out his front legs, and awaited Auria to do her thing.

 

Stephan sat there, just in utter shock. He couldn't believe Missy was passing away. She helped him get Rainbow Dash's flight back, and now... she was leaving him. He walked over to the alicorn and hugged her.

"Missy... I don't want you to leave..." He said to her.

"I'm sorry, Stephan. But if I could live longer, I would, but I want you to be with me tonight, I don't want to die alone, I'm sure you understand." Missy said. "I want Grand to be with me too, I'm not sure if she would forgive me for leaving all that time ago." Missy looked away from Stephan.

Auria then grabbed a hold onto Cloud's hooves and lifted him up. He was quite a heavy one, but she managed to get him out of the place and back up to the surface. Eventually, they arrived back at Everfree, but after dropping him off she was too tired and fell on top of him. "Urghh.. You're so heavy with those elements in your saddlebag.."

Stephan let go of Missy and kissed her cheek.

"I wish we could've spent all of that missed time together. But, I'll go get Grand." Stephan began walking out of the room.

 

When Cloud fell, he caught Auria into his arms, accidentally making it look like he was hugging her. This made him flush even more red.

"Heh heh. Um, hi."

Missy smiled as Stephan left, she lay her bed back on the pillow and waited for everypony to come back, if they did at all.

 

"Moon. What do you want?" Starburst asked. "Have you been to see Missy today? Is she alright? Has something happened?"

Auria just giggled and rested. She couldn't move anyways from being tired, and let herself back. "Why are you.. Whew... So red like that? You seem kinda, I dunno... What's the word..~?"

 

Moon looked to Starburst, giving a weak smile. "Missy wants us to come to her hospital place, she's inviting everypony over. Grab your kids and grandkids if you want, wherever they are~"

"She said to me yesterday that she wanted to come back to Ponyville, I think you should go and bring her back here, I think she wants to die with her friends and her family." Starburst said.

 

"Alright Sandy, we should get back home, grandpa Starburst will be wondering where we are." Sky said, bring that thing with you. The two left the others to their own devices.

"Embarrassed?" Cloud asked, smiling at her, looking into the filly's eyes. The red was beginning to go away from his face. Just a little.

Stephan jetted back to the busier part of Ponyville, where Grand Finale currently resided. When he got there, he knocked and waited for Grand.

"Yeah, I guess you're right.. Grand's house it is then!" She said with a smile, then ran off to go see Missy.

 

Auria looked upon Cloud, getting a sense of embarrasment there too as her cheeks flustered red once he looked into her eyes. "Yeah, I guess.. It's going away though, you know..~?" Then she giggled.

Starburst sighed as he watched Moon run.

"Caramel! I'm going to see your sister. I'll be back soon." He said. He began to walk to Grand's house, it had been a few years since they had actually spoken, and hopefully she wouldn't be too mad about it. And the last time Missy and Grand had seen each other was at Fire's funeral, this would be interesting.

Missy called over her doctor, she said it would alright for her to return to Ponyville, but doing so would be a great risk to her health.

"I don't care, I just want to be with my friends one last time." Missy said, weakly, her doctor leading her slowly to a wheelchair, she got pushed to the outside of the hospital, where her and the doctor waited for Moon or Stephan's return.

In the distance came Moon, running quite fast for being fairly old. Soon, she stopped in front of Missy who was outside and gave a smile. "Starburst told me we were going to do things over at Grand's house. I can help push you there if you want darling, it's fine. Also, I don't know where Stephan is right now, nor Rainbow Dash."

"I don't know whether she would actually want to see me or not, the last time we spoke wasn't really on the best of terms." Missy said. "I guess we should just find out, I mean we're friends, or we were friends, so that's got to count for something, right?"

 

Starburst arrived at Grand's house, he had his cape on that he got from Caramel all those years ago, when he arrived he saw Stephan, so he hid, not wanting to be seen, it had been so long since they had spoken to each other.

Moon began pushing Missy slowly through Ponyville, looking around with a nice smile. "I'm sure Dash has gotten over it already if she shows up, it's been quite some time anyways. Oh! And before we ever arrive at your house... Do you, want to take a little walk around Ponyville with me?"

"That would be nice, Moon. I want to spend as much time as I can with my friends." Missy said. "It's very nice to see you but I really want to see everypony else first, oh I saw Stephan, he came to see me earlier."

 

Starburst covered his face with his wings, he couldn't be seen by Stephan, so he quietly tried to sneak away but bumped into somepony, then fell into a cart.

"Huh, okay. And it's very nice to see you too, my love..~" She leaned forward and kissed Missy gently before nearing Grand's house. "Just promise me that after we have a good time, you and I can spend our own time together outside. We could sit outside and watch the stars go by, maybe cuddle a bit you know~?"

"That sounds like a really good way to spend the day." Missy lay her head back and closed her eyes, she never really had much time to think about her life, born to a Manehatten family, abandoned, finding her way to a new home. She now felt more loved than ever. She remembered. She remembered her first birthday she spent with Twilight, she remembered when Fire proposed to her, she remembered all of her friends, and it would make her happy, just them being with her when she moved on.

Moon just smiled and hummed as the two went along together. She looked to Missy again, giving a nuzzle. "Hey, I guarantee you Fire and Zeta are with us. That'll mean everypony is here, you know~? Maybe they might appear to say their greetings to us, and then... Afterwards, when it, happens.. You can go hug them..~"

Missy didn't respond, she just sat there, sleeping, trying to get everything she was thinking of, off her mind.

 

Sky and Sandy arrived in Ponyville.

"Oh, there's great-aunt Moon and great-grandma Missy." Sandy said.

"Yeah, you're right, let's go say hi, shall we?" Sky said, walking over to Moon. "Hey there Moon, how are you two?"

Moon giggled as she realized Missy was asleep, but soon stopped to hear some ponies she recognized. In an instant she turned, giving a big smile before picking up Sky to hug her. "Hello Sandy and Sky! Why, i'm doing just fine~! Anyways, have you two been off searching for the Elements of Harmony again? I've heard today's a wonderful day to be looking~"

Cloud returns with the others back to Pbnyville. Upon returning, he notices a mysterious pony in a hood (His Grandfather.) He seemed to be heading in the direction of his Great-Uncle Starburst. He followed him, ready to stick up for Starburst if he harms his uncle.

Stephan sees a pony's tail hanging out of a cart he walks over to the cart and takes out the hay from it. He then sees his nephew, Starburst.

"Starburst, what're you doing?"

Auria followed closely behind Cloud, carefully monitoring what he was doing. It was quite nice to do so, but she still kept waiting for the hooded pony, also going up to whisper to Cloud. "Hey... What are you doing? Why are we following this guy around for?"
