Repsol didn't really believe what he was hearing. wait..what? did she just say yes? this..i didn't expect.

after being dumbfounded for a few seconds he noticed how stupid he must have been looking, and he quickly regained his composture.

"great! so uhm.. do you like movies? how about we meet up at the cinema at around 7 tonight?"

he tried to hide his overjoyed feelings inside, but couldn't stop a wide grin from spreading over his face.

Minty smiled. "Sure! I'd love to go to the movies tonight. I have nothing else good to do anyway." Minty then began to trot away, and stopped as if she forgot something. She trotted back towards Repsol and kissed him on the cheek. She then darted out of the canteen towards her cabin.

Rock squealed as he saw the puppy love play out before him. He stopped himself and put a hoof around Repsol.

 

"My friend, I believe you just got yourself a date" he grinned "There is nothing I love more than a romantic couple. Especially when they're so young"

Repsol was sitting on his flank, completely dumbfounded by everything what just happened. his face was coloring red through his orange coat. 

he snapped back to reality as he felt a hoof on his shoulders.

"heh, yeah i guess i do."he smiled back at the stallion.

Rock grinned. He felt like he was in a romance novel. Despite the fact that he would probably be a minor character, he was happy about it either way.

 

"I'll let you get ready then!" Rock cheered "I'm going to have a romantic date of my own. But with a pineapple smoothie"

 

He hurried over to the drinks table and starts taking as many pineapple smoothies as he can.

Repsol laughed at the stallion's sudden enthousiasm. "hehe, thanks Rock."

as he trotted towards the doors, he looked back at the stallion again. "and thanks for  helping me find Minty in the first place."

he shot him a grin before proceeding to trot towards his cabin.

Minty, meanwhile, was preparing anxiously. "What should I wear.. what should I wear!?" Minty asked, digging through her closet. "It's just your first date. He accepted you when you weren't wearing clothes. Nopony wears clothes these days," Moonshower said to her frantic roommate. Minty kept looking for a dress, though, and Moonshower got her a dress so she would shut up. "Thanks," Minty said, hugging Moonshower and trotting outside towards the theater.

Repsol was laying on his bed, looking at the ceiling in a daydream. he looked at the clock on the far end of the wall. 6:30

oh snap, i'm gonna have to hurry now.

he quickly got up, took a quick shower and rearanged his mane and tail. after this he sprayed his neck with cologne and looked in the mirror one last time. 

after approving his appearance, he took another quick glance at the clock. 6:45

he locked his door and made his way towards the theatre

Minty soon saw Repsol approaching, and suddenly got nervous. "Oh no, what if I screw this up? I can't be seen like that..! Now now, Minty. Becoming nervous would only make it worse. Just breathe and it would be over in two hours. Enjoy yourself." Minty trotted towards Repsol and smiled. "Uh, hey Repsol!"

as Repsol approached the theatre, he saw Minty allready standing there. oh crap, i'd better not be too late

all room for those thought where quickly replaced by awe tough when he got a better look at the mare.

 "hey Minty." Repsol said as he smiled warmly at the mare "wow, you look very beautifull."

Minty blushed, and failed to hide it. "You don't look half bad yourself, Repsol." Minty took Repsol's hoof and trotted into the ticketing line. "So, what are we watching this fine evening?" Minty asked playfully. "Oh, it better be a romantic comedy! I love, love, love those!" Minty lied. "Just kidding. You can pick whatever you want."

"oh yeah.. ehrm about that." Repsol scratched his head awkwardly. "i uhm.. don't really know what they're playing right now."

he tried to give the mare a convincing smile, but the nervousness showed through.

"i guess we could ask at the ticket booth what they're showing tonight."

Minty nodded. "Okay, let's see what's showing right now." Minty trotted up to the ticket booth, and put her hooves up on the desk. "Uh, do you have anything interesting that's showing?" Minty asked. "How many in your party?" the ticketing stallion asked, looking down at his computer. "Two." The stallion looked back down, then said, "Ten bits. We have a interesting horror movie." Minty handed over the bits, then trotted inside.

Repsol asked, his face sporting a concerned look.

Minty shuddered, but smiled as if nothing was wrong. "I'm okay," Minty lied. "There's nothing wrong. Nothing wrong whatsoever," Minty said frantically. Minty trotted into the back of the theater and sat down, looking up at the projection of the screen, frightened.

Repsol sat down next to Minty. he didn't really notice what was playing out on the screen before him, as most of his attention was focussed at the mare. he spotted the exoression on the mare's face. oh man, maybe we shouldn't have gone to a horror movie...

he shuffleed a little closer to the mare, putting a hoof around her, and pulled her closer to his chest.

Minty felt a little more comfortable when Repsol put his hoof around her. She still felt scared, but she regained her cool once she felt the hoof around her waist. She shut her eyes, then pretended to still watch. She didn't want Repsol to think she was chicken..

Repsol looked at the mare. she seemed a little calmer now. he snuggled a little closer against her. and let out a comforted sigh.

i wonder if she feels the same.. she's very cute actually.

the film was now probably just over it's first half.

Minty bit her lip, squinting at the movie until a loud noise was to be heard. Minty screeched, then flew as fast as she could from the screening, on top of the theater. Minty breathed a small breath of relief, then sighed. "Repsol probably doesn't even like me anyway."

Repsol recoiled a bit as he witnessed the loud screech beside him, and the blur of mint racing towards the exit. "M-Minty?"

the mare was long gone. as he looked back into the theatre he spotted all the looks the other ponies where giving him. oh buck me...

" heh... ehrm... terribly sorry everypony. i'll just uhm.. go now." Repsol trotted after Minty as fast as he could. when he was finally outside, the mare wasn't anywhere in sight. he decided to just call for her anyway. "Minty! was it something i did?"

he hung his head in defeat

"...i'm sorry."

he slowly made his way back to his cabin.

Minty watched as Repsol trotted away from the theater. "Did I scare him away? Oh, I knew it. I had no chance of being with him anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if the next day, he's already with another mare." Minty trotted back to her cabin, too, but noticed that Repsol's cabin was only a few blocks away. She trotted over to his door, and knocked.

Repsol layed on his bed, staring at his ceiling. it never seemed more interesing in his entire life. why did she leave me like that?

however, he was torn out of his daydream by a knock on his door. he slowly got up, and trotted over to the door. opening it with a hoof.

he never expected what he saw tough.

"M-minty?"

Minty sighed. "I'm really sorry I left you, Repsol. It's just that the movie scared me a little.. And I had to get out of there. I'm not used to scary movies. I think I hate them. I just.. I'm sorry. I guess you hate me now, right?" Minty nodded, beginning to trot away sadly.

As the mare began to speak, Repsol felt a huge weight drop from his shoulders. it almost seemed comical. she didn't dislike him, she just disliked the movie!.

Repsol perked up when the mare turned to leave. oh you ain't getting away this easy

A sly grin formed on his face, and he quickly pushed his muzzle against hers, kissing her gently.

Minty's eyes widened at Repsol's sudden and appealing gesture. She knew what to do. She locked the kiss for about a minute as a light blush on her cheeks began to collect. When she finally pulled away, she was still getting over the fact that Repsol had just kissed her. "Um-uh, you like me back.....?"
