open The Trotting Dead [Reboot/Fresh Start]

Ghost played around with the dials and switches on the radio for a while. The signal started to come clear after some work. "This is a recorded message from the president of Trottingham to The Ghost. You need to come to my city at your earliest convenience. Don't ask why. Just come." There was a click after a brief 3 second pause. "Well, I guess I know where I'm going. You guys up for Trottingham?"

The message ended as quickly as it started. "Are you really going to trust that? For all we know, Trottingham is over-run with trotters now." Fire Horn asked. "And we've got to be on the look out for Zycrin, he could pop up at any moment."

Ghost walked to Fire Horn and looked him in the eye. "Have you been living under a rock? Trottingham is one of the safest cities in the region right now. The safest is Canterlot. Besides, if the president of Trottingham needs help, I can't just stay and do nothing. Plus, you got me now. Zycrin will have to get through me before he hurts anypony."

Castor and Pollux were beginning to get angry at the Ghost. He acted like he was the only pony in history who could protect. Gemini had been successful for a reason. The twins were highly skilled in magic as well as hoof to hoof combat. But because Ghost could run fast and turn into a stupid cloud of dust, it made him the strongest pony alive. Pollux was about to make a retort, but Castor stopped him, knowing what he had been about to say. "Don't. It'll only tear this group apart," he whispered. He then looked at the group. "You better be right Ghost. I swear if going to Trottingham puts any pony here in danger..." He stopped himself and sighed heavily. "Just... You better know what you're getting us into."

Grand thought about it. "My sister would be safer there. But trottingham is a long way away from here, it'll take a few days for all of us to get there" she said, her sister stuck to her side. "We need to prepare ourselves. I'm no fighter, so some sort if defence would be nice for us not so offensive ponies"

Ghost could tell that they were beginning to become a little mad. "Listen, you two. I know are very capable. I mean, look at what you achieved before the outbreak. You two may be criminals, but you are some of the most highly skilled criminals I've ever seen. Sorry if we're getting off on the wrong hoof. It's just that Zycrin is my worst enemy and I want to get my hooves on him for hurting Grand."

Castor nodded while Pollux turned to Grand. "I'm sure Gohst, myself, and Castor will plenty for this. No need to worry." He smiled. The twins both went to the food pile to get something to eat. They got the smallest things they could find and began to eat and converse with each other.

"I don't doubt your capability, but despite my Appearance I don't want to be the damsel in distress. I want to be able to protect my group as well." She said sternly, looking at the three stallions. "I don't need to become a fighting master or anything, but I want to be able to handle myself in a fight, if need be"

"Well, of course Grand. I believe you can handle yourself well. I mean, look at you. You're a unicorn. You have magic on your side. You can pretty much do anything." Ghost said with a smile.

Ghost then lied on the carpet. He was worried that he got off on the wrong hoof with Castor and Pollux. If he was going to go along with the group, he would have to make sure he could cooperate with all of them. He walked over to the food pile, got an orange, and turned to the two former thieves. "You guys should know that I don't want to be the only defender, right? You're just as capable and strong as I am."

The hospital. A living embodiment of life and death. Ponies come here to fend off the inevitable. Death. Most are lucky, usually only having a small infection or a light injury. Others...are not.The infection....

 

It made this place into a safe haven. The strong structure and amount of medical supplies, rations, and eletronics that can make you surrive in here. Just like...Relámpago. The time he's been he doesn't know and cares. His bare face is shown to the public. All of his energy, his life force. Is sitting next to him. A mask. A mask that gives him the power to fight off anything. Even the living dead. However...it hasn't been worn for some time now. He locked the hospital door. There's no need to see the luchador's face. All he needs to do is relax....

 

Well, that would be the case until the sounds started coming in the hospital. There were more ponies than usual. He looked at his mask. He groaned, knowing full well that he would last a day without any more food or drinks. He sighs, grabbing the mask and placing it on his face. 

 

From night to day. He appears again. Full of energy. His lackluster lifestyle has come to end and the trotters were no match for him. All he cared about was food and water. He unlocked the door and breath in the death's air. Though faint, it felt like a new life....

Ghost took out his knife-edged boa staff and tried to manually sharpen it. The staff had machetes on both ends. It's pretty much the only weapon he has, with the exception of two daggers. He wasn't too good of a shot, though. He hoped that one of the others were. "I'm ready to head out when you guys are."

Grand filled her saddlebags with food and medicine before nodding. "The quicker the better!" She said, tightening the straps. Caramel followed closely behind her sister, saddlebags full as well. "It will be a few days before we get there, so we should leave quickly" she said before standing by the door

Ghost filled his saddlebags with his equipment and his boa staff. He slipped on some leather bracers before walking outside. The smell of death filled the air... and it made the vigilante sick to his stomach. "Does anyone know where the nearest train station is?" Ghost asked?
