Voice Actress with a dream!

So, this is Kate.  She's a brony and a voice actress and she has a dream of being a voice actress for MLP.  She's already and established VA and she can do the singing and I would be lying if I said I don't think she'd be great on the show.  But give the video a watch and leave her some positive feedback on Youtube or something.  Maybe we could start a petition to get a real VA brony on the show.

She is very cute, I mean talented and very cute.

 

I hope that she'll manage to make her dream become a reality, listened to some of her singing and she is very talented. Best way would just to somehow send this to hasbro she could still always just be a voice actress for the community. Then I will have to go too bronycon 2014, lol.

Considering this video she already has a bf. Still.. hugs, maybe.

I guess I don't know what you are requesting. If she wants to get on the show and she has former voice acting work she would need to talk to Hasbro and only Hasbro. Putting out a video to get fans to bug Hasbro for her is pretty backwards and not a good strategy. There's plenty of voice actresss wannabees in the community (Rina-Chan for example) and i don't think many of them have stooped so low. The main voice actresses are set on mlp and most do many other shows FOR hasbro. So the idea of getting on MLP this late in the game because she asked us to write her name on the ballot just seems disingenuous of how this works or what voice role she is even applying for....

@@Freewave, Wow, that's really harsh.  Why can't I just wish people would support her?  Even she knows she'll probably never get on the show, but why dash her hopes on the rocks in such a harsh tone?  And how is making a video about wanting to be on MLP stooping low?  Maybe she just wants people to share in her love and her dream for a moment.

 

I guess, overall, I was hoping you would show her some love, if even it doesn't mean anything in the long run, instead of just being super negative about the whole thing.

I guess I would support her, since she does have potential and for some voice actresses this opportunity comes once in a lifetime. So, anything possible when her dream does come true.

Sorry not trying to be a jerk. There's only so much this community can do for people and I've never even heard of her.  She shouldn't e-beg. She just needs to ask Hasbro directly (the right way) and stop trying to do it through the fans (the wrong way).

You seem to be taking this hard. I guess this is a friend of yours who asked you to post this for you? I encourage her to send a resume into hasbro and to do consider doing fannon if it doesn't work out and she really wants to partipate in the community. Asking people to get her a job at Hasbro simply won't work as its a bad practice and frankly an unprofessional request. If she's done voice over work before she knows what she needs to do to get her foot in the door.
