What's the best way to deal with a storm?

The only real downside to storms is if you're outside for a smoke and a bunch of rain gets on your cigarette it'll make it un-smokable and therefore a waste of a perfectly good square.

 

Personally, sleeping to the sound of storms is completely calming to me. I also love playing video games while it's storming outside as well. I just love storms.

Personally, I love getting rain so hard it sounds like hail with thunder loud enough to shake the house a little. Whenever that happens, I like to recline in front of a window with a cup of coffee and watch the storm until it ends, or until I fall asleep; whichever comes first. Sometimes I'll also read something while I'm sitting there. Whenever a storm rolls through, I chill without a care in the world.

Turn on "Tornado of souls" By Megadeth and jam out. Hilarity intensified if there's a severe storm warning.

I am usually either watching it from my garage, or stating out a window, depending in where the best lightning is at. Though, it's not uncommon for me to be scared into the house by an uncomfortably close flash.

I thinks thunder and lighting are scary, so I like to hide and talk to my brother. But it there's just rain I will go and lay in the grass before it starts to get heavy and when I get up there's a funny dry spot makes me happy.

Personally, when there's a storm I do what I always do. Sit on my computer and play games with my friends while chatting on teamspeak, or watch a movie. I tend to just ignore the storm as it doesn't really bother me.

Hop into a rugged vehicle and go storm chasing! If you're not up for such an adventure, holing up inside your house and watching a good movie, listening to music, playing some video games, or watching ponies are excellent alternatives.

Whenever we have HUGE storms, like the one we had not too long ago, I usually just pop my headphones in and listen to music in a correct volume that I cannot hear thunder. And I ignore the lighting and all the wind and chaos. I don't mind storms, but when they are big and starting to scare me, I try and focus on something else...unless the tornado sirens go off, its time to go into the basement

How do I deal with storms? Why would I 'deal' with storms? If its a good severe storm with lots of lightning and thunder (heavy rain and wind help too) I go outside, get in the car, and watch it. For tornado warnings, I'll go out on the porch for a few minutes, but otherwise I'll stay inside and watch the radar. If it looks like I have to take shelter, I will. I love living where in the spring, there's bad weather day after day. I never got why people loved sunny good weather so much. Its so boring. Whenever theres a chance for severe storms, I get extremely excited, haha.

Personally, if there is rain with the storm, I turn on the sprinklers to return fire, but maybe that's just me.

I was about to say something about turning off the electronics I don't want fried and reading a book, but this sounds like a way better idea.
