Dog Ears looked at her in shock. "What!? No! I would never do such a thing to an animal! It was having anxiety problems, and I had gotten too close. It was more my fault then his. That's... wow I need to help you. Seriously. You really shouldn't be thinking like that. So we're gonna walk around Paris together, okay? I'm gonna help you be more.... of a pony, for lack of anything else to say."

Giving Jack an equally emotionless face she spoke the two words she needed. "Hit me."

((OOC: Ok I really am confused now. This is not like the blackjack I am used to playing. What version is this one because I am not sure. And for this turn I guess I'm winging it.))

Jack pulled the top card off the deck and placed it beside Charcoal's cards. "King of clubs!" Jack announced "And with 4+8+10+10= 32" Jack took his mystery card and flipped it over. "Ace of spades! 9+10+1=20" Jack threw his hoof in the air. "I've done it, it, it, it agian!" Jack took all the cards back "Sorry 'bout that."

"What's the matter Jack? You seem a little bit tense." Charcoal says in a calm yet slightly mocking voice. "This time I think I will stay, last turn was a learning experience. I can tell a lot about a pony by their reactions to different situations." *giggle*

Dog Ears' remark cause Glacier to laugh uncontrollably. When she finally regained her composure, she said, "I don't know if your eyes are mutated as well but I'm almost positive that I'm as much a pony as anypony else. But staying slightly more on-topic, I don't mind walking around Paris for a bit. Should give me time to scout the terrain."

Crystal frowned slightly. "very well. Would you like a drink?" She asked, giving her a reason to stay there a little longer as she poured herself a cup of tea. (OOC: teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeea!) "In all honest I was expecting you to say no instead of yes. No real reason though."

"Well, it was just a guess on my reaction. I'm not really good at guessing," said Quill. "And, no thanks, I'm not thirsty. Ate and drank at home just before leaving for the airport." He'd eaten a light meal, really, as he'd never been on a plane before and didn't know whether he'd have travel sickness.

A a troubling look masked Jacks face "I got an antelope in the mail that read "You won a trip to Paris!" and then a whole bunch of terms and conditions at the back in a micro-text font. I thought it'd be nice to have a vacation and make a friend, so I hopped aboard."

"I mostly came because a friend of mine said that I need to get out of the workshop more. I resisted of course, but it is kind of hard to resist unicorn magic a lot of the time. Especially that darn levitation, still haven't found a way around that." Charcoal said but a lot of it mumbling to herself.

"A spell fluke? I don't know what that means but I basically I'm trying to find a way for non-unicorns to counter unicorn magic." Charcoal said with both a bit of pride and a bit of sadness. "It is part of why I stay in my workshop so much. But you don't need to hear about that now do you."
