@Summer Storm

Hmm, which "pancakes" do you mean?

If you're talking, what I think of as, US  style pancakes.

Then it has to be at least maple syrup

...and preferably with bacon :nom:

However if you're meaning what we should call crepes, rather than what we usually call "pancakes" in the UK, then I'm a traditionalist

What about German pancakes Dawn?

Those are right in the middle between those 2 :P

I'm getting lost with my Pfannkuchen, Eierkuchen and Blinis and even Poffertjes

What does @DasCapschen mean when he says "pancake"?

Pfannkuchen == Eierkuchen (depending on which region you're in ; we say "Eierkuchen" to what others call "Pfannkuchen" ; while our "Pfannkuchen" is what others call "Berliner")

Blinis is russian version, is different again.

Never heard of Poffertjes

Pfannkuchen/Eierkuchen are German pancakes. They are similar to Palačinka. :)

It's like a thicker crêpe, but nowhere near an american pancake

How dare Google lie to me when I searched "German pancakes", I only hit what you've shown when I get to the 15th and 20th images :)

All the previous pics look like, what I know as, "Yorkshire puddings" (and that's what my pic was of) :)

Are those ones^ being served with caramel or, dare I say it, gravy?
