ooc Follow the Music: A Mystery/Adventure Roleplay (FULL)

[Courageous Thunder Dash 7,825]

Octavia, the well known cellist who resides in Ponyville, has had a very busy time touring around Equestria. She now finds herself in the large city of Los Pegasus, where she is to perform with the Manehattan Philharmonic, who also is touring around Equestria.

 

When all seems to be going well as Octavia is preparing for her final performance in Los Pegasus with the Manehattan Philharmonic, disaster strikes. An evil rockstar known as Metalheart, a feisty unicorn who has mastered the ability of mind control, has set Octavia behind bars for supposedly assaulting another pony, which the punishment is automatic incarceration. 

 

Octavia's boyfriend, Vinyl Scratch, had no idea how this happened and is out to find justice for his classical girlfriend, the greatest cellist in all of Equestria and take down whoever wrongly accused her. 

 

There are only 3 slots in this roleplay. I'll be playing with both my OC Melody Breeze (her full description can be found here: http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/melody-breeze-r3875, and Vinyl Scratch. 

I'll be also playing the antagonist.

Rules

 

1. Of course no godmodding, no taking control of other people's characters

2. As DM I control the plot, so no plot changes. 

3. No swearing (Dang and damn are fine, but anything else will end up with a warning then kicked out)

4. Alicorns are welcome as long as their not as powerful as any of the Princesses.

Yes, but not in my roleplay. Rule 63 is applied here. It may seem weird, but I made Tavi and Vinyl a straight couple here.

Must have a musical talent and know some music theory as well. This roleplay will contain musical riddles and you must solve them in order to get closer to finding Octavia.

Nah, you don't have to pull out. Even if he knows just a little bit, he can still be part of the RP. Besides, the riddles will range in difficulty. They won't always be tricky.
