private [Reboot] Reign of Chaos

"WELL IM FROM A DIFFERENT DIMENSION, WHERE, ALL MY FAMILY MEMBERS THINK I AM DEAD!" He yelled at the top of his lungs.

"Sorry about that." He said, shying away.

"Im not normally this loud. Oh, and forget what i said. That NEVER happened. Understood?"

He said, hopefully.

Emerald started at him, wide-eyed. "Um...yeah...Okay.." she sounded scared.

 

A growling comes from outside, Missy closes the door with her magic and peeks out the window.

"What are those things?" Missy asks. There are pony-sized creatures with red eyes and wings, stalking the streets. A purple pegasus appeared out of a doorway, she screams and is quickly taken by one of the creatures, a flash of green and she's gone.

Emerald cursed under her breath. "I don't know, but we will have to find a way across without attracting their attention. Maybe one of us could distract them while the rest of us run to the other side?"

"We shouldn't do anything rash, we should hide in here while it's still safe. We're in a library aren't we, the largest source of knowledge in Pontville, i think we should get reading." Missy said. "We should be able to find something out about these creatures."

"That's a better idea. Okay, I'll look over here-" *points to the section to where she had dispersed into before* "Is that cool with you guys?" *sees something on the section she wanted to inspect, and grabs it off the floor* "This is the book I threw down when you fell, Missy!"

"I'll just go check over here," pointing towards the mysterious creatures section. He wandered over and saw a book sticking out about Discord. "Hey guys? What's Discord doing over in the mysterious creatures section? Shouldn't he be in the famous ponies throughout history section?"

"Maybe not." Missy replied. "Discord is a draconequus, a very rare type of creature, Discord is the only one of his type, he's the spirit of chaos. Though i don't know what he would have to do with this, those creatures look like changelings, they don't seem to be anything chaotic."

"Lets crack open that book! We might need the information, and until its safe, Dont go outside."

"There might be some connection, possibly not though, and it doesn't seem like a changeling's style to kidnap ponies without disguising themselves as them. Something fishy is going on, I don't like it. Can we head to the boutique? I don't like this outfit."

"Sorry for shouting, but i'd rather keep casualties to a minimum, we don't have time to worry about and outfit." A line which Missy knew Rarity wouldn't like if she heard it.

"We can't just hide! We have to find a way to stop Discord." Tears were spilling out of Emerald's eyes. She couldn't bear to think what might happen if it was Discord who had taken her Aunt. She could be dead by now, or in lots of pain. Or being tortured! Emerald looked away from the other ponies, and cried harder.

"I suggest we wait until nightfall, that way we can get around without drawing too much attention to ourselves, and before you say "why can't we teleport there?", i can only teleport to places i've been or know. I've never been to your bomb shelter before, so my magic is no use." Missy explained. "We don't know that Discord has done anything, this could be anyone's doing."

 

(Atom Bomb's don't exist in Equestria, or at least i hope not.)

Emerald shook her head. "No it's not. I don't know about you guys but I have sompony I love out there, and I don't care about dying, that's all i've ever expirienced. So I am going to go out there and kick some changeling flank." Emerald kicks the door open angrily, but there are tears running down her face and runs outside.

Missy runs quietly after them reading the book. She comes to a realisation.
"Guys?" She whispers. "Don't make any loud noises, these creatures are attracted by sounds. Don't ask me how that works because i don't know, the book doesn't say." Flipping through the book about Discord.

"Somepony better go with her," Al Capony said, rushing out the door after her, tossing the book to Missy. He yelled "Wait, hold up, where are we going? What's the plan?" To Emerald.

Emerald looked at him. "I'll distract them so have enough time to run across. Then I'll somehow fight my way over. Okay?Fight them if you need to. " Emerald didn't wait for an answer. Two changelings were quickly advancing on Emerald and Capony. Emerald immidetly began punching and hitting them. "GO!" she yelled to Capony."

Emerald flipped both changelings over on their backs, they attempted to zap Emerald with their magic but she was to quick for them. Emerald had grabbed a piece of broken glass nearby, and their magic was reflected onto them. The changeling's spell had covered them in a mess of a sticky green goo. Emerald smirked, but than felt a warm breath on the back of her neck. She did a backflip and was faced with 5 more changelings.

"You obviously have no idea who I am," Al Capony said, pulling out a pistol with his magic, shooting a couple of his targets dead in their tracks with a shot through the skull, right in between the eyes. "I was a royal guard, and I was the head of my department, crowd control."

This was time for some quick thinking. Missy charged her horn, this was a complicated spell, teleporting one pony was hard enough, but teleporting 4? That was going to be almost impossible. Missy's horn exploded in a flash of magic and the ponies were gone.

"Aw, right as it was getting fun! Oh SWEET! We're in the Boutique, I'll be out in a minute," said Al Capony, grabbing a turtleneck and a sports jacket. Within a matter of seconds he hopped out of the changing room, looking somewhat like a private investigator. "Ah, much better than that drab old disguise. So know do we go to my bomb shelter?"

"Fitting name, let's settle down for a few minutes. Grab anything that could be of use, it's a long walk, I'd teleport us there, but I don't know the spell. We have to be ever vigilant, nopony can make any noise, capiche?" Al Capony said. "You have 5 minutes to gear up."

Emerald was walking in the Everfree forest. The cuts on her forelegs made it almost impossible for her to walk. Emerald was panting, she had been walking like this for awhile. Emerald sighed, and layed down on the grass. Her forlegs were killing her.

Richard went quiet.

"I will go and look for her also." He said, calmly.

"I've got a bone to pick with them anyways."

He laughed maniacally.

He left.. not following Capony, he notices one of them coming at him.

That one, had his food.

"You..." He said, staring it down.

"Give me my food, and you wont get hurt."

Richard demanded.

The Chaos child, rushed him.

"A fighter, eh? Well! HOPE YOU LIKE THE TASTE OF DIRT!"

He said, while bashing it to the dirt.

That made it pissed.

It unleashed a barrage of attacks.

All but the last one missed.

"URF!" Richard said, as one leg was cut, just slightly.

"EMERALD!! HELP!!"He yelled hoping she could hear, While trying to not get hit by the magic.

"MISTY SCREWED UP THE SPELL! IT ACCIDENTALLY LEFT YOU!" He yelled, as he dodged another bolt of magic.

'Please..'

He thought as another bolt was fired, just missing him.
