Onylex 2,837 August 21, 2013 Share August 21, 2013 (edited) That depends... Do wolves have the same intelligent level as the ponies? Id first start off by trying to find out how I became a wolf. If something like this was permeant I would just how that the ponies would except me for what way I was. Edited August 21, 2013 by Onylex
Kamarat 103 August 21, 2013 Share August 21, 2013 I would do what all wolves do, hunt. After kind of getting aware of my abilities, I would observe ponies in ponyville and try to get petted by one. If that fails, I would try to at least live with ponies somehow and try to show them that I'm friendly. If that doesn't work too, I would live with my animal instincts as much as I can. It would probably be a short life, but a good one.On a second thought, maybe Zecora can pet me and I can live in the everfree forest, that would be nice. DarligPegasi 315 August 21, 2013 Share August 21, 2013 I would go to Fluttershy or Zecora for help, but if that failed I would go live with a pack of Timberwolves and become their leader because I wouldn't be made of wood and twigs therefore I'd be a lot more powerful. Smarts 1,622 August 21, 2013 Share August 21, 2013 (edited) I would be severely disappointed that I was turned into a wolf instead of something else like a dragon, pony, griffon, changeling, etc. I would have even accepted being a timber wolf. At least they are cool. First things first, I'd find a well knowledgeable unicorn or alicorn in the area such as Twilight or Celestia and ask why I am a wolf and if I can be another race. Nightmare Night 151 August 21, 2013 Share August 21, 2013 id probably go around in the forest and do....wolf things. lol idk I guess see if I can get fluttershy to ask twilight or celestia if there's a spell or something they could use to turn me into a pony....and if not......id go around mauling pony's until I eventually die and hopefully get reborn as a pony. I know, I know...kind of dark but hey...im a wolf who cares.
Fhaolan 4,483 August 21, 2013 Share August 21, 2013 Not surprisingly, I have a backup plan for this scenario. (Fhaolan means 'little wolf') First, confirm that I can't talk. That's annoying, and is high on the priority to do something about if possible. Quick acclimatization to the new body, and check to see if any issues like arthritis or ligament damage has carried over from my human body. Next off to find Fluttershy and make contact. That gets me food and shelter without having to resort to my own hunting. While I'm normally quite capable of wilderness survival on my own, with the new body and metabolism some help would be nice. Animals in MLP aren't that far off of ponies intelligence-wise, going by Angel and Tank, so it's going to be tricky to find a way upgrade Fluttershy's opinion of me beyond 'just a wolf'. Probably draw geometric shapes in the dirt, upgrade to writing words as soon as she's paying actual attention. Hopefully the big 'Welcome Princess Celest" sign in Swarm of the Century means that my writing will be readable. At that point, we have real communication and we can deal from there. If lucky, Fluttershy will be able to talk to Twilight and/or Zecora and explain the situation. Between us come up with an easier communication system and determine if it's possible for me to be sent back. Because while I'd normally be willing to stay, especially with this situation, I have a family I need to get back to. Question 1: Can I talk to other animals, especially canines? Oh, wait. Question 2: I turn into a canine-type wolf, or a MLP-type timber wolf? That changes things *a lot*. Fluttershy isn't going to react well to a MLP-type timber wolf.
