As you might have noticed at the bottom of each forum section says "this forum led by Feld0.", but it actually means "This section is led by Feld0." instead.

 

It's just a minor thing but it could lead to some confusion to newbies and I thought such minor change wouldn't take some work and that is why I am making a thread to talk about whether or not this should be done or not.

 

What do you think?

Actually, there are three common names: sections, subforums, and boards. So technically, using the term "forum" isn't a misnomer. However, I don't think there would be a problem with the slight adjustment.

 

This might also be a good time to bring up the broken links in the EQW boards.

Took me a moment to realize you were giving an example, because, I was confused due to the fact that nowhere does it say Feld0 leads anything; those tags always list the specific moderators who are assigned to whichever section you're looking in.

 

I'm not sure how easy this would be to fix; whether there's a way to edit wordings somewhere in the CP or if it would require a coding work around. Either way, it's not really a big deal. Worth looking into, but again, I'm hardly sure what it would require. I'll check it out.

You may just want to talk to Lavo one on one Chaser, and see if anything at all can be done for that No point in playing the governmental parliament 'discuss, review, investigate, fix' theatricals if you don't need to, especially for a small issue found staff-side.

Perhaps it should be revised to "this forum section led by," to make it more clear that it is a section of a forum category. I agree with you, Azura, that it should indeed be revised. I know that when I was new to forums I had difficulty understanding what all the different terminology such as topic, thread, section, forum, and so on meant.
