"Ahh, you're just jealous that's all!" Nitro Spark returned with a laugh. "Well, looks like you gotta pay for dinner." Nitro added as he opened the door and went into the parlor. The smell of pizza was everywhere. "Nothing like the smell of fresh pizza straight from the ol' brick oven of Detrot!" Nitro Spark announced.

Frost smiled and lightly punched Nitro in the shoulder, "Ahhh shut up." he chuckled as he looked at the menu. "Alright, what does he like, cheese, supreme?" he asked still scanning the menu. "Ooooooh! That super supreme looks good, I might have to get me one of those." he said

"Because of his condition, let's get him cheese. For us, let take half-and-half. One half is cheese and the other half pepperoni." Nitro Spark said. He then went up to the ordering desk. "What would you like today?" The waiter asked. "I'll have two large pizzas. One cheese-only and the other half-cheese half-pepperoni." Nitro Spark answered. "Alright, that'll be 15 bits." The waiter said.

Frost nodded in agreement, sounds good. He followed Nitro up to the counter as he ordered. When the cashier came up with the grand total he pulled 15 bits out of his wallet and layed them on the counter and smiled. "There yah go!" he said in a happy tone of voice

"Thank you. Your pizza will be ready in 20 minutes." The waiter said as he went to the back to place the order for the chefs.

 

"Let's just sit here and chill for a while. I'll call up Thunder Dash and tell him about the pizza." Nitro Spark said as he got out his phone and dialed Thunder's number. "Yo Thunder, pizzas gonna be ready in 20." Nitro Spark said. "Got it." Thunder Dash said. "So, how's Aurora?" Nitro asked. "He's still slowly recovering. But he won't be driving anytime soon." Thunder Dash said. "Ah, okay. Well, I'll see you later." Nitro Spark said as he hung up the phone.

Frost sat and listened at their table while Nitro talked on the phone. When he hung up Frost smilied. "I never feel like I've truly thanked you for letting me live in the garage, even after I rammed you with that taxi." he said trying to hold back a laugh. "You've been very kind, but I don't want to overstay my welcome, I'll start paying rent for my room, it's only right." he said a little more serious now.

"Ah, your welcome. I honestly forgot about that...say...now that we're sitting some place, wanna know how I got these metal platings on my wings?" Nitro Spark asked. He had been waiting to tell this story, for he has only told it twice, in which once was to Thunder Dash.

Frost looked at Nitros wings, he had almost forgotten about them, he had been staying with him for so long he slowly got used to it. "Yeah, I'm actually interested now that I remembered they were there. How did you get them?" he asked still staring at the plates.

"Well, when I was a little colt, I worked for my father's delivery service company, which delivered parts that operated the weather machines up in Cloudsdale. In order to get to Detrot, I must cross a large ocean, 500 miles away from Ponyville. Well, one day, as my crew and I were going through a large storm, I was flying low 'cause the visibility was terrible up high. Suddenly, boom!" I was struck by lightning. To make matters worse, the lightning strike was a twin branch, which got me on both of my wings. I went down and nearly drowned. Lucklily, a fishing boat reeled me in, along with a boatload of fish. The captain of the small vessel decided to take me back to Ponyville, to the hospital. The doctors were able to save my wings with a super delicate operation. The doctor said I could've been flightless for the rest of my life. That's how I got these platings on my wings. They provide full protection against lightning strikes. They're basically electricity repellers." Nitro Spark explained.

Aurora smiled thankfully and wished he could thank him,he blinked and clenched his teeth again,the pain was so severe,even for the powerful morphine and other medicines the doctors were injecting him with,he sighed and looked down,he knew he had screwed up pretty bad,he just hoped he didnt lose the trust of his friends...if he did...he wouldnt know what to do with himself...

Thunder Dash was sitting next to Aurora thinking really hard. He was thinking about the gang, Grindspark, Nitro's rival from the beginning of Nitro's street racing career and how they'll be able to stop him from taking over the city of Detrot. He then looked at Aurora. 

 

Meanwhile at the parlor, 15 minutes remained until the pizza was ready.

Aurora blinked,his stomach rumbled and he looked at it,he blushed and smiled with his eyes closed,he blinked and wrote down "how much longer? I thought these guys were fast!"he writes and hands it to Thunder Dash,looking hungry and pained slightly.

Rut-Light crawled out from under the wreckage of the upside down truck, checking on the two gang members they seemed to be knocked out from the crash.  Rut-Light got them out of the truck cab, activated his headset and after connecting to Frosts communicator, spoke to him, somewhat out of breath.  "Yo Frost...care to come pick me up?  I seem to have had a bit of an accident in my Ford Raptor...rolled into a ditch next to the garage after the rear wheels locked up on me.  Ciao."

Frost picked up his communicator when he heard Rut talking, hearing his name. Frost nodded slowly before looking back up at Nitro, "Hey, Rut had an accident, flipped his truck....he sounds fine. You got pizza duty, I'm gonna go pick him up and meet you at the hospital." he said standing up and putting on his bike helmet, flipping down the visor once he was on the bike. He backed out of the parking lot and began to speed in between cars to get better time. He turned on his communicator. "Rut. I'm on my way, send you location to my GPS. The acess number is 8734, got that?" he asked

Rut-Light listened to the access code and responded; "Got it, sending you the coordinates now."  he got back into the over turned truck and accessed his own GPS, punching in his location and sending it to Frost's GPS.  "Location is sent, and a little side note; I have two deliveries with me.  You'll know the rest and what went down when you get here, see you then."

Frost nodded, "Got it." he said before smiling. "Alright let's try out my new toy." what he was referring to was the GPS system he had installed in the back of his helmet, hooked up to a mini projector that transferred it to his visor. "GPS....locate Rut." he said as he heard the wurring of the GPS before directions were projected onto the inside of his visor. "Sweet." he said as he followed the GPS all the way to Ruts Raptor. He stopped and got of his bike. "Celestia Rut! What did you do?!" he said as he slid down into the ditch.

Soon, the pizza was ready. Nitro Spark hurried to the hospital and entered Aurora's room. "At last, your pizza is here." Nitro Spark said. "How's it goin' buddy? Miss you out on the road. Hope you feel better. Sorry it's such a quick visit, but I gotta go help out Frost with Rut-Light. He also wrecked his truck." Nitro Spark said leaving the door.

 

When Nitro got back to his Saleen, he quickly punched in the location of Frost on his GPS. Five minutes later, he arrived at the wreckage.

"Well...ok here's what happened: Iv'e been planning this little thing for a while now, so when you two left this morning I woke up and went outback to get my Raptor fitted with a ramming chassis.  Then I drove down to the gangs hideout and turned into an alleyway straight across from the place, turned the truck around and sped right into the hideout.  Every one of them were dazed by the sudden noise and dust followed by a Ford Raptor barging into their place, I quickly got out, grabbed two of them, hog-tied then, tapped their mouths closed and threw them into the back of my truck, made a U turn and got the heck out of there."  

 

Rut-Light paused to catch his breath, then continued; "As I was nearing the Garage, I saw you and Nitro take off, so to avoid hitting you guys I honked my horn and slammed on the brakes; unfortunately this caused my back tires to lock-up and therefore cause my truck to spin out, slam through a fence, overturn and land in a ditch.  Leading me to this very point."

Frost slung Rut's foreleg over his shoulder and picked him up to help him out of the ditch, "That was a risky move, you could have been captured.....or worse." said Frost not trying to think of what he had meant, he sat Rut down and propped him up against his bike. "You look pretty banged up, but it's not hospital worthy, so I can take you inside and patch you up after we get those two." he said looking over at Nitro, "Glad you could make it." he said smiling

Aurora watched Nitro leave,he sighed and looked down at his pizza,he shook his head as he took a slice and ate it,he felt so guilty,so bad...he didnt know how he could repay Nitro or Frost...he nearly killed them both...he sighed through his nose and closed his eyes.

"Hey, I could take the two gang members back to the shop...ugh... Thunder Dash isn't there to get them out of the hypnotic spell. He's over tending to Aurora, who's currently in the hospital. Wouldn't wanna hold the members in the hypnotic state too long, for they'll try to escape back. I minus well make a super quick trip to the hospital." Nitro Spark said as he dialed Thunder's number. "Yo Thunder, could you meet me out front? I have just a quick favor for ya." Nitro Spark siad. "Be right there." Thunder Dash said. "Alright, could you hand over to two gang members? I'm gonna make a super quick trip to the hospital so Thunder Dash could get these guys out of the hypnotic spell that Grindspark had set them upon." Nitro Spark said.

Frost looked over at Nitro and listened, pausing his patch up work on Rut. "Yeah that would probably be best." he said, still nodding. He turned his gaze back to Rut and smiled, "Alright let's move you to the garage, I can care for you better in there, uppppp you go." he said as he picked up Rut on his back and gently layed him down on the bike. "Ok here we go." he began to push the bike into the garage, like a makeshift stretcher

Meanwhile Nitro Spark was having a bit of a struggle putting the gang members in the car, as these were two of the strongest members in the gang. Nitro Spark was able to get them in his Saleen. He then went to meet Thunder Dash to get them cleared of the hypnotic spell. Once cleared, they looked dazed and confused, but Nitro was able to tell them what happened. Thunder Dash then returned to the hospital.

"Much appreciated Frost, thank you.  That move I made went against my morals, but street racing is a life one doesn't give up easily."  As he lay on the makeshift stretcher (aka, a dirt bike), his mind started to drift to whether what he did was a good idea: on one hoof the gang now knows that there are racers that oppose or even want them dead, on the other; Rut-Light just dwindled down the gangs forces by two and increased Nitro's by two, hope it was worth it.

Soon, Nitro Spark met up with Rut. "Yo Rut! You hangin' in there? Hopfully that wreck didn't mess you up too badly." Nitro Spark said as he kept an eye on the two gang members who were in the back of his car. He was happy that Thunder Dash was able to zap them out of the hypnotic state, but now he had to face two injured crew members.
