Frost sat in Nitro's car watching the whole scene. He mentally cursed to himself, snaking the dashboard of the car. "Crap!" he said getting out of the car and walking to the others. "Now what?! We're down a driver and I can assure something is gonna happen soon." he asked in a very concerned tone.

Rut-Light had been making crazy choices today, but that little 'heist' thing wouldn't be his last.  "Hmmmm,what if...when something happens, I get right on it and try to 'deter' it.  Like, say they come here to get their members back, I can get into my Barchetta and lead some of them away as best I can; leaving less for you guys to deal with."  Rut-Light wasn't sure if anyone would agree to that, but times like these are when ponies start to do crazy things.

Nitro Spark sighed. He was completely worried about Aurora. He saw Frost who was sitting in his own Saleen getting angry that Aurora was out. "Alright everypony huddle in. It's time for a crew meeting." Nitro Spark finally said as he got up to get the clipboard.

Frost let out a long breath to calm himself down. "Alright let's talk it out whoo!" he said grabbing his rolling chair from his work station and rolling back over to the group. "Alllllrighty! What's out plan, I'm guessing we're gonna need a new one fast with Aurora on the slab right now." he said with a chuckle.

Aurora was out cold,he was laying silently,his breath starting to become more shallow every breath he took,until finally,his breathing was barley noticable,this was...not normal beyond all standards...he didnt look the same either,his mouth was in a smile,not what you would expect a person tat had just ripped his side open and made a rib come out would look like... In Aurora's dream...  Aurora was standing in the middle of a field,his mane being blown back by the soft breeze,he opened his eyes with a small smile before he hears a small,echoy laugh,it sounded like a childs,or a young mare's,he opened his eyes and looked around,he was at the edge of a cliff...he stared out at the sunset..."this is my dream?"he asked softly to himself,he looked down and saw nothing but beautiful forest,he looked behind him and saw all his friends,his crew...he smiled slightly...

"Alright everypony. With Aurora out we must act fast and not screw up. Grindspark is gonna strike any minute now, for the ten thousandth time. A few days ago, Frost and I went out during patrol time to check gang activity. We must start going out during patrol time. BUT, we must do it as a group. Suspicion will rise if we go out solo. So...you must be wondering how Frost and I went out during patrol time. See those false police decals on my car? That's what I used to get out there. We must blend ourselves in with the cops. Fortunately, Aurora, being the kind friend he is, is lending us his SUV. I could hook that up with some decals to make it look like a police interceptor. Okay, to go over things. We must start going out to the hideout during patrol time. Whatever we do, we must drive as quickly, yet as safely as possible to keep the cop suspicion down and get as many gang members out until Grindspark is the only one left. Once he's the only one, we must catch him, take him down...and turn him..." Nitro Spark suddenly stopped and thought about that rough past he had with Grindspark, that time when he was nearly killed by that freak; the time when he tried to become friends with him but he almost was beaten down hard. Nitro Spark felt all of his strength suddenly go away from his legs. At that moment, he collapsed and breathed heavily. It happened. He was having a mental breakdown. Whenever he thought about something terrible that happened in the past. He tried to hold back the tears but still cried a little. "i-I-I'm sorry...it's just that..." Nitro Spark said trying to stop himself from crying.

Rut-Light offered a friendly hoof to his leader and offered some comfort, "It's alright, it happens to the best of us."  then a concern popped into his head and perplexed him until he asked it.  "Two things; one, how are we going to get the police decals?  And two, will Aurora's SUV fit all of us or are we fitting each and every one of our vehicles going undercover?"

Frost turned in his chair to face Rut and smiled. "Decals...well unless Nitro and Thunder have another few pairs I can always call up my guy and have some delivered." he said trying not to look at Nitro, seeing his best friend in pain would hurt him dearly. "Thunder, I meant to update you on the BASS Cannons progress." he said smiling proudly. "I've upgraded it's main Cell Drive, thus extending its range. I could post my self on a hill on knock some cars off the road if they happen to presue you, its an request not a set statement keep in mind." he said shaking his hoof.

After ten minutes, Nitro recovered. "I've got some decals in the back of the shop in a room where I keep spare parts and all. And Aurora's SUV has 7 seats, two of which are foldable. Don't worry, we could use Thunder's charger, because it's the perfect undercover car. Besides, Chargers are becoming more popular amongst the police force. Right Thunder?" Nitro asked. "That's right Nitro." Thunder Dash said from his lab.

Aurora's eyes slowly opened again and he looked down at his side..it was fine...he felt much better now,that he had some rest,he slowly got up and walked to the mission room and sat slowly "...Don't know of how much use I'll be...but...I'll come too...Cobra has been dying to be driven more..."he says and motions towards his Mustang Cobra,he smiled slightly.

Nitro Spark turned to see Aurora. "Well, look who's up again!" Nitro Spark said to Aurora extending his hoof out for a hoof bump. Thunder Dash came out of his lab to see Aurora up and about again. "Well that's good news." He said. "I could probably slip some police decals on that cobra of yours. Besides, I heard that the cops just got a batch of them mustangs on their side. A couple of gang members just got busted last night." Thunder Dash explained. "How did you know?!" Nitro Spark asked with amazement. "Tapping." Thunder Dash said. "Oh...you know that's a major risk there Thunder..." Nitro Spark said. "I know, but it's our only choice. We don't want any surprises." Thunder Dash said.

Aurora hoof-bumped and smiled slightly "don't you remember Thunder? the cobra has hidden decals,shine some headlights on it..."he says and picks up a headlight,turning it on and police symbols show up on the door,the rear and basically just like every other cop car "...and it becomes a police car."he says with a smile.

"If you say so..." Thunder Dash said as he made a small flashlight appear with his electric abilities. He then shined the light on Aurora's Cobra. The decals were revealed. "Well, that's pretty cool. It's like an undercover. Here's the thing: The Detrot Police Force doesn't have an undercover unit." Thunder Dash explained.

Aurora smiled "they do now...I saw one just like mine yesterday..."he says,recalling the police cobra,he gets in his car and starts it up,revving it hard,the nitrous purging as it spits out the tire well and hood before he slowly backs up,the engine chugging with power,the superchargers whining slightly as he reverses out of the garage "Oh,I also need to dyno test this thing."he says out the window.

"Dyno's in the back of the shop right by the scrap metal bin. All you gotta do is just drive your car up the ramp and onto the machine, secure it, and set up the computer. Hey Thunder, could you help Aurora with the CPU systems on the dyno? I have not touched that thing in a long while." Nitro Spark stated. "Yeah. I will." Thunder Dash said getting up and galloping to the back where Aurora was.

Frost walked back over to his Audi and climbed into the hood and lying back on the windshield. He placed his headphones on and turned up his music, bobbing his head to the beat of the bass. He began to think, "Could this hit be as easy as it sounded.....it can't be.....Celestia I don't know." he hissed to himself.

Aurora rolls up on the dyno system,he then strapped down his car,making sure to put chains in the small loops at the rear of his car,he then waited for Thunder to put in the CPU and stuff so he could start his dyno test,he really wanted to see what this little pony car could do.

Thunder Dash set up the CPU for the horsepower/torque test. He made sure that the car was secure, for he had seen many accidents that involved dyno testing, from blown engines to cars slipping off the unit. "You're good. All ready." Thunder Dash said as he kept an eye on the computer screen.

Aurora nodded and started his roll,going a little slow at first,then he let it rip,the loud engine roaring as the pipes shot flame every time he shifted,after about 16 seconds,he hit top gear,the then slowly began to slow his car's wheels,he got out when his car had stopped and looked at the screen,he smiled at the results "eeyup...913 horsepower...oh my thats allot of torque...won't even read it..."he murmurs and looks to his car again.

Thunder Dash looked at the computer. "I guess I gotta update the system again to read cars that have torque levels beyond the system's limit." Thunder Dash said as he canceled out the program for the dyno and went to the website where updates were carried.

Aurora watches him while he updates with a cute-looking colt's smile on his face,he was happy and pleased with his car,he loved it dearly,he had put so much work into the thing,he couldn't bear it to be crashed or stolen or anything like that,he sighed softly.

Finally, after ten minutes, the computer was updated to the current software. "Alright, start her back up and let's roll it one last time." Thunder Dash said to Aurora.

 

Meanwhile Nitro Spark was washing his Saleen S7 in the back of the shop. He also made sure there were no scrapes or dents.

Aurora nodded and got into his car,starting it up again and making the wheels slowly roll first then,when his engine heated up,he stomped it,his pipes roaring as he shifted,the hundreds of horsepower roaring as he kept on it,he smiled as he shifted again,still watching the acceleration gauge steadily go past 170,he kept going,shifting again,and again,until he hit his last gear,he waited for the RPMs to max out before he slowed it down.

"Whoa, you actaully maxed at 920hp @ 6500rpm." Thunder Dash stated as he went over to dismount the car from the chains and clear everything away. "One of these days I've gotta put my Charger on this thing. Hadn't done it since a few months ago." Thunder Dash said as he gave the okay for Aurora to drive off the dyno.

Rut-Light was just sitting by one of the windows of the place, glancing out at the world beyond the garage.  He sighed as he turned away from the glass in the wall, he stood up and walked over to his precious Ferrari 550 Barcheta and just looked at it, "Hey Thunder?  Mind if I test my Ferrari on that dyno system?  If that not too much to ask of course."
