"Yeah, everything is still hooked. I can get you on there. Just drive out back there and I'll meet you to get your car hooked on." Thunder Dash said as he trotted to the back to make sure the security cables and other supplies were still in place.

 

Meanwhile Nitro Spark was reading a tuner magazine, but suddenly thought of the gang members they had captured. He wondered if they had bonded with each other. He decided to go and chat with them

Rut-Light nodded and opened the door to the interior of his car, climbed inside and started the engine.  Revving it a few times, he threw the 550 into reverse and drove off out to the back of the garage at a slow 5 mph.  Taking a left turn he saw Thunder Dash checking on some of the connections to the machine, he halted his car and looked outside of the window, "So, how does this thing work anyway?"

"Well, what you gotta do is pull up on this thing here and I'll lock your car in place. Then, when I give you the okay, you're gonna get your car up to top speed, when your car hits final gear, you're gonna floor it all the way down until your tachometer hits right at the last number before the red zone. You'll then let go of the gas and I'll give you the stats." Thunder Dash explained as he went to lock in Rut's Ferrari securely.

Aurora drove his mean cobra out of the garage,the evil sounding gurgling of his huge V8 rumbling and gurgling slowly into the garage,the machine was honestly a beast with a metal body,he smiled slightly "900 HP..."he murmurs and smiles wide,he knew the thing could do more...he just had to push it...

Nitro Spark was updating the computers in his Saleen, but they weren't the ones responsible for regulating horsepower. They were the ones that controlled the NAV system and other special features. It took quite a while for the computers to update, but they finally did after ten minutes.

Aurora blinked and stared out at the black road,his heart starting to pound as he thought 'Quarter mile...'he says in his mind before revving up his engine and blinking,he smiled as he rubbed the wheel of his car with his hooves,he gulped softly and squints slightly,he sighs and finally shifts out of neutral,he punches the gas,his muscle car flying up into an almost 90 degree angle,he gasps,but keeps going.

Nitro Spark decided to go take his Saleen out for a drive. He completely floored it across the streets of Detrot. He then came across a Mustang Cobra. "Yo Aurora! It's Nitro behind you!" He said over his communicator as he continued to draft behind Aurora.

Rut Light was in his 550 and ready to start testing how this matches up to the others, he peaked his head out of his window and gave Thunder a nod of approval. "Feels nice and secure, alright tell me when I can start." He took his head back inside the blazing red Ferrari and looked forward; concentrated and hopeful that his monster would be amazing.

Thunder Dash already had the computer up. "Alright Rut, take her up to final gear. Once there, mash the gas to max rpm and let go right away. I'll let you know when to floor the gas hard, 'cause this computer's got a gear monitor in it as well. Alright then, whenever you're ready." Thunder Dash explained.

Frost jolted awake with a loud snort. He looked around and saw that he was still on the hood of his Audi. "Celestia I've been missing a lot of sleep lately.....where..." he muttered rubbing his eyes and removing his head phones as he jumped of the hood and looked around. "Thunder?!...Rut?!...Arurora?!" he called out.

Thunder Dash was in the back making sure Rut understood the directions, when he heard a call. "Hold on Rut, don't do anything. Sound's like Frost is calling." Thunder Dash said as he galloped back into the garage. "You rang?" Thunder Dash as Frost who was still on the hood of his car.

Frost let out a sigh of relief. "Ohhh thank Celestia I thought you guys had gotten up and left me here!" he said in a relieved tone, still stretching from his nap. "So....What are you guys doin out there anyway? Your not haven a race without me are yah?" he asked, letting out a chuckle.

"Rut's gettin' his car tested on the dyno out back. I could do yours right after if you like. Besides, were gonna have to have horsepower checks, because we need to be as strong as possible to take down this gang." Thunder Dash stated. "You can come and watch if you like." Thunder offered.

Frost nodded, "Yeah sounds cool I'd like to see how this all plays out! I think I'll get a good view from the roof!" he called out with joy as he ran up the ladder in the garage to get a better view of the action from the roof. "OK guys Im ready! Show me whatcha got!" he yelled

"Alright Rut, whenever you're ready." Thunder Dash said as he at by the computer to keep an eye on the stats.

 

Meanwhile Nitro Spark was stil out with Aurora. He was continuously following him and making sure there was no sign of danger. He still had thoughts of the gang, and when they might strike. The time was passing and he needed to take Grindspark down before he caused any more trouble.

Rut Light nodded as he started to focus, and right then and there he hit the gas. Waiting for the revs to max out after 2 seconds and then he shifted into second gear, 'Perfect' he though as he went through the revs while his car was almost deafeningly loud but it sounded clean and down right amazing. Shifting into third gear, he was halfway through the gears but from here on they would be lengthy, he could not hear a thing over the roar of the cars engine. After four seconds of third he shifted the vehicle into fourth...fifth and eventually sixth at which point he absolutely floored it, causing the engine to sound like a chorus of angels ;but 20x louder. As soon as he maxed out the revs he immediately let off the gas pedal and waited for the test results, "So, how was that?"

"Whoa dude! Pulled off 875 horses there!" Thunder Dash exclaimed. "But you might need to improve that acceleration of yours just a little bit." Thunder Dash said as he went to unhook Rut's Ferrari from the locks that kept the car secure while it was running on the dyno.

Rut Light was surprised, 875 horse power was a lot of power for this Barchetta. "Dang...did it say the RPM range at which it produced that much?" He said as he was un coupled from the machine and parallel parked it near the fence. He then looked up at the roof of the garage to see Frost, giving him a grin he asked "Getting a nice view from up there man? You know the dyno's still up if you want to test your Audi on it, give it a go."

"That was at around 8000rpm." Thunder Dash stated as he finished up unhooking Rut's Ferrai. "Alright Frost, you're next. Bring that R8 around and I'll have it hooked up." Thunder Dash stated. Nitro Spark suddenly came out. "Hey Thunder, could you do my Saleen right after?" Nitro asked. "I can put you on there." Thunder Dash answered.

Frost squeaked with joy at the replies from Rut and Thunder. "Really?! Alright!" he yelled as he slid back down the ladder and galloped to his car. "Yesss!" he squeaked to himself as he started his R8 and backed out of the shop. "Alright I'm here........wait....what are you guys doin anyway eh?"

"We're checking the horsepower of our cars with this machine here." Thunder Dash explained. "Well, what are you waiting for, just drive on up the ramp and I'll have you hooked up." Thunder Dash stated as he went to sit by the computer and waited for Frost to drive up on the dyno.

Frost nodded slowly, "Oh alright!" he exclaimed as he backed up onto the dyno. "Alright Thunder just give me the word and I'll fire this baby up." he smirked, revving the engine. "Im just glad that I got that off road kit taken off....that! Would have wieghed me down!" he laughed.

Thunder Dash hooked up Frost's car to the dyno, clamping it down with special strong durable cables. He then reset the computer and made sure all of the tools were in the proper order.

 

Meanwhile Nitro Spark was changing the oil in his Saleen. He had brought high performance racing oil instead of the standard sport oil.

Frost laughed as he watched Thunder hook up his car to the machinery around him. "Now this ain't gonna screw up my car is it Thunder? I trust you and all, but this looks all primitive to me......Ahhh whatever just give me the green light, I want to pump through all my gears before this test is over!" he said boldly.

"No it wont. The rollers under your car won't damage anything. Your car is completely locked up, safe and secure." Thunder Dash explained as he made sure the computer was set up properly. "Alright then Frost, take her through and floor it on the last gear then let go when it hits high rpm." Thunder Dash proclaimed.
