Wow this is awesome. It completely removes all interaction from the viewer and makes the videos play faster because it uses less latency than normal. Cool find. I'm gonna try and be part of the Feather project and see how it goes for a couple days.

The comments have always been a useless feature that should be removed, frankly. Nothing but brain dead idiots in the comments section of videos. The Youtube "community" doesn't deserve the privilege of commenting.

 

Back to the Feather though, I really like it. I'm so using it from now on.

Wow, this really is a lot faster. I really like this... especially the disappearance of the comments section! That in itself is worth a permanent join, it really wasn't worth the extra bandwidth anyway...
