Hey Just got onto the forums and wondering if there are any tips for using, navigating, and posting in the forums? I've Never really been in any forums so anything will help

yes, as Darkshift said be yourself.  Also maybe do something similar to what I plan on doing and explore this forum a bit at a time instead of trying to look at and read every section and thread that interests you that you may want to type to.  And keep it simple and don't try colors, fancy text types like italics ect.  Also if you are unsure feel free to ask questions.  i think there is a section just a bit under this one to ask site questions on and with as many members as his forum has I bet you'll not have to wait long for a reply. 

 

It may seem intiidating at first being on a forum, but if this is your first or one of your first forums take it easy in small steps.

Just dive straight in and enjoy yourself you'll get used to being on a forum with time. Everyone is pretty awesome so join in some threads start up a convo and just have fun  Oh and welcome to the forums

As far as forum information goes, there's actually quite a bit of it that I'm sure you'd find extremely helpful

 

The Help Files (found under 'help' in the main forum menu) are a bare-basic tool guide for forum useage overall. From posting to PM's, it explains what features and specific buttons do what.

 

The Official Resource Map & FAQ are both mass repositories of information that are linked to as subforum boards in the Site Questions section (where I see you've already made a post about signature posting ). The Resource Map is a single page linking to many other things as well as giving its' own unique information, whilst the FAQ is a giant collection of consistently added articles explaining the answers to commonly asked questions.

 

I recommend taking a look through them ^^ I created the Resource Map myself, and it contains everything from forum section posting guides (what things go where), to explanations on pinned topics that explain other things to you in individual sections.

 

And of course, should nothing here answer questions you may have, feel free to use the Site Question sections' main forum, or PM a staff member at any time :3
