You can either make your own using an image editing program or have a look in the Creative Resources forum. In the Requests Guild subforum, you'll find a great number of signature shops there where you can request a signature. Hope that helps, and welcome to the forums too!

(If you want to know how to use your signature, go into My Settings and choose the Signature tab.)

My Settings > Signature

If you want an image, you will need to copy the image URL, click on img_icon.png, and paste the URL.

Click on save changes and you're done.

If you manually wish to do it using the img code, here's how you'd put it:

Roll up to the top of the page, and roll over your name.

Click 'my profile'.

Click 'edit my profile'.

Click 'signature'.

The dimensions are 600px - 100px.

SAI and Inkscape are free tools you can use for creating your signature, I don't recommend paint.

Don't forget about Gimp, which is basically a free less-powerful Photoshop.

Here we go:

In order to get a signature made by a member on the forums, go here and pick out the member you want to create your signature based around each respective style:

http://mlpforums.com/forum/97-requests-guild/

Pay attention to the sections titled, "Request Shop".

In order to assign your signature, you go to "My Settings", click on the signature tab to the left, and click the little image icon and paste the link to the signature. It must be 600 x 100, since you're a member.

If you created your own signature, upload the image to http://imgur.com/ , copy the link address and paste the link in the image icon.

Here's a nice, free, online program to create signatures with: http://pixlr.com/editor/

Hope I helped.

This question has actually just been answered on a topic just the other day.

Here's the answer:

Since you're new here, I'll start this off with a friendly Welcome!

There are two methods for adding images to your signature: using direct links from an off-site image hoster and using the img bbc code or adding them via attachments from "My Media".

(If you don't know how to get to your signature editor, go to your settings, then click on signature)

If you're going to use the off-site method, then take the direct link of your image given to your by the host site, and input it using either

[img=Insert direct link here]

Or

You can click the little tree icon in the post editor task-bar, paste the link into there, and the image will automatically display.

If you want to use attachments (which can be good as the "my media" folder holds all of your attachments for quick and easy access), then head over to any thread, and click on the "Upload Files + More Reply Options"

Once on the full editing page, head down to the bottom and click "Choose File", after choosing, click on "Attach This File". Once attached, head back to your signature editing page, click on "My Media" and then select your image. After that, you'll image will be input into your signature!

@DjHarmony., please post here letting us know when you have figured out how to get a signature. These two posts explain the process well, but if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask. :)
