Equinox made it back with electricity emitting from his hooves still. "By the way if you looked at my horn I'm not using magic to cause this to happen to my hooves" Equinox said showing Pinkamena that his horn isn't glowing. "Also should have been told that I was coming up to Sugar Cube Corner sooner" Equinox said looking at the sky

Pinkamena watched Equinox come up to the front door of Sugarcube Corner and smiled. She looked at Equinox and noticed his hooves were still emnating lightning. "How do you do that? Oh, and by the way." She grinned. "I won." She said, sticking out her tongue at him.

"I don't know but its not magic" Equinox said as the lighting went away. "Odd...how the hell does that even work" Equinox asked himself as he went inside. "Yeah you won...though I would have if I was paying attention to what I was doing" Equinox said as he sat down in a chair

"That just shows that being over-confident can get you into trouble." Pinkamena said as she smiled and walked inside behind Equinox. As she walkind into the store, she noticed that Scootaloo was passed out on the couch. "I guess we'll just have to throw you that party at a later date."

"Okay...must have fell asleep while waiting for us" Equinox said as he picked Scootaloo up carefully and took her to her room and laid her to rest. He then came back out and sat down in a chair. "I think...I can finally rest...knowing that Chrysalis is on the moon, Arachnid is dead, and Deranged is with Twilight" Equinox said

Pinkamena walked over behind the counter and grabbed an éclair to snack on. "Yeah, it does feel good to rest after all this, but I still have to clean up the basement from when your friend decided to come and try to kill us." She said as she walked towards the basement door while eating the éclair.

"Oh yeah I forgot I still need to stuff his body...then stitch it back together and he will be the first alicorn in your collection" Equinox said as he got up and took his glasses off. "I wish I could have learned why Chrysalis was spying on us with a changeling"

"I almost forgot about that too. It will be nice to broaden my collection." Pinkamena said as she opened the basement door and started down the stairs. When she got to the bottom and looked around the basement. "Man, he made such a mess." She started to pick up all the things that had been knocked over, thrown around, and broken and put them in their respective places. She stopped when her gaze went onto her weapon safe that she threw. "Hehe, oops."

"You know what...where is Ms. Cake at" Equinox asked noticing he hasn't seen the times he has been here. "Where has she been" Equinox said. He then proceeded yo go into the basement and looked st Arachnids body. "Poor fool should have learned what would happen..." Equinox said as he closed his eyes.

Pinkamena tried to move the safe back to where it was, but she couldn't get it to budge. She pushed on it and her back feet slid out and shefaceplanted. "That will stay there then." She said as she got back up. She then heard Equinox's question. "Oh, she went to another city and started another bakery, leaving this one to me." She answered Equinox.

"Oh thats cool" Equinox said to Pinkamena as he saw her trying to move a safe. "Um do you need help moving the safe Pinkamena" Equinox asked as he looked at the safe a bit. "I wonder if I should get a safe to keep my bloody katana safe...nah" Equinox thought to himself

"No, I shouldn't bother you about it. I will get it moved some time later." Pinkamena replied to Equinox's offer. She then grabbed a broom and started sweeping the floors. "So, what are you gonna do now?"

"I really dont know to tell the truth I will probably just head on home" Equinox said as he looked at her. "Why do you ask" Equinox asked as he felt pissed when he looked at Arachnids dead body. "Though I suggest keeping Atachnid some where out of my sight...I hate him more then I hate Chrysalis for some reason"

"I was just curious, that's all." Pinkamena said as she dumped all the trash she swept up into the garbage. "There, all clean. The place looks a lot better now." She said as she looked around the basement and smiled. She then walked over to the supply closet and put the broom and dust-pan away.

"Okay" Equinox said as he left the basement. "I probably should be heading home anyways...man I hate where I live...too damn frequent has something been shot into my house...its annoying" Equinox said as he headed home. "Probably see something inside my house in front of my broken window"

"Wow, your place kinda sounds like a shithole." Pinkamena said as she followed Equinox up the stairs. "You know, you are welcome anytime you want to stay here." She said as she saw Equinox sttart to head out the door. "Just let me know, and I'll set up a place for you stay in."

"Its not really a shithole its just that the windows keep breaking cause of two stupid colts" Equinox said as he looked out the window and sighed. "You know maybe I might stay here again" Equinox said not wanting to head on back to his own home at the moment.

"Alright then." Pinkamena said with a smile. "Since the bed is still wet from me splashing you with water earlier today, you can stay in the Cake's old bedroom. There are no sheets on the bed right now, but I will get them put on." She said as she walked towards the back of the store into the laundry room. She opened the drawers and grabbed out some sheets and a blanket. She walked back out and headed for the stairs. "Come on, I will show you the room."

"Alright" Equinox replied as he followed Pinkamena up the stairs. "What happened not Carrot Cake anyways" Equinox asked as he took his glasses off and looked at them seeing that they are cracked he sighs and puts them away. "Must have cracked them during the fight" He said to him self

"When Ms. Cake decided to leave, they all went with her to work the new store." Pinkamena said as she opened the door to the Cake's old room. "We'll, here is the room. It's not much, but it works." She said as she looked around the room. There was a bare bed on the far wall, a plain wooden dresser to the right, and a chest at the foot of the bed. "I was thinking about renting this room out, but I haven't had time to do it. Too busy... you know." She said as she started putting the sheets over the mattress.

"Yeah...I feel like its kinda my fault" Equinox said as he looked around. "Its actually a really nice room actually" Equinox said as he yawned. "One question though ans it deals with Twilight actually" Equinox said as the question he wants to ask is bothering him

"It's not your fault. I have been putting it off for a couple months now. So, don't worry about it." Pinkamena said as she finished laying the blanket on the bed. Equinox then asked if she could answer something about Twilight and she looked back at him with a slightly curious look. "Sure. What do you want to ask?" She asked him.

"You think she's okay with Deranged in her mind...First time when he did this it caused a lot of horrible illusions and bad memories to come back...and her sanity will slowly die out...like mine did...it will be unstable" Equinox said as he looked out the window.

"We'll, now that you mention it, that does sound like a problem. She could go crazy, but she is right under Celestia's wing. So if things started to go wrong, Celestia would be there to stop it." Said Pinkamena. She looked at the made bed and smiled. "Bed is done. You can crash whenever you want to."
