Surprise just giggled at what Equinox said as she looked at Pinkamena.

 

Pinkamena looked over at Surprise and back at Equinox. "We do look alike, but I have straight hair and hers is poofy. Not to mention, we are completely different colors." She said as she continued to eat her piece of cake.

Equinoxes horn glowed and made Surprises hair straight. "Now you look alike...except for color" He said looking at you both. "It would be funny if there was a mirror of me" I said as I thought for a moment. "Then again that would be bad also...whho would know till it happens"

Surprise was amusing herself by feeling her hair, but after ten seconds, it poofed right back to it's original style. She giggled and snorted.

 

"That is possible, but we kinda made it so you can't do that anymore. I made tons of copies of me, and it brought chaos. So, we sealed the place that allowed us to do that." Pinkamena said to Equinox.

I didn't mean an exact copy" Equinox said as he saw her hair poof back up. "Besides there are more mirror pools in different areas of Equestria" He said which brought something to mind. "Ever heard of a alternate world of Equestria called Equinox...it's supposed to have evil but harmless...to a certain extent versions of you and the others" Equinox said

"No. I haven't." Pinkamena replied to Equinox. "If anyone would know of something like that, it would probably be Twilight. Or the Princesses."

 

Applejack came up to Pinkamena and Equinox. "Ah'm gonna call it a night, guys. Ah gotta go get Applebloom from mah relatives, then go an' harvest the back forty. Thanks fer the party Pinkie. 'Night." She said as she left.

"Okay good night Applejack" Equinox said as he turned back to Pinkamena. "Well Equinox is a world filled with some time of air that affected the ponies there and there is different versions of the ponies there...there is even a version of you there I heard..." He said as he looked at Twilight. "She has a book for trans-dimensional travel...I want to head there and see what it is like there" He said

This Equinox place interests me. But, how do you get to this other world?" Pinkamena said to Equinox, thinking about it. "Also, didn't Celestia want to have a talk with you at the Grand Gallopping Gala? Because that is coming up in little over a week from now and from the way you said it, it sounded important."

"I know a spell to go there and I will go there after the Gala" Equinox said as he knew he will get an ear full if he goes to the Gala without being dressed up. "Though I am going to have to dress up...I hate dressing up fancy also..." He said as he sighed. "Hey I'm going to head off home now" Twilight said as she came up to Equinox and Pinkamena. "Alright good night Twilight" He said as Twilight left.

"Goodnight Twilight. Thanks for coming." Pinkamena said to Twilight as she left. She turned back to Equinox. "Speaking of dressing up, I have to go get a dress still. And you know what that means." She said with a devilish smile. "A trip to the Carousel Boutique to go and get one tailored."

"Well I got to get a suit tailored also..." Equinox said as he made a fedora appear on his head. "This hat will go with my suit also" He said having a black fedora with a red band on it. "Also I don't think im heading there for mine" He said as he yawned a bit. "Well...looks like more are leaving now"

"I'll probably go there tomorrow." Pinkamena said, noticing that it was starting to get late. "I should start to clean up." She said as she started to grab garbage from the table.

 

Surprise went towards Equinox. "This party was fun! Make sure to invite me to the next one." She said with a smile and flew out the store.

"Okay I'll make sure I will Surprise good night" Equinox said as he saw Surprise leave. "I'll help clean up also" He said as he grabbed the garbage off the table also. "I really hope Celestia as a good reason...if she doesn't...then I have no reason to trust her anymore..." He said to himself

"Thanks." Pinkamena said as she grabbed all the dirty dishes that we're laying around and brought them into the kitchen, setting them in the sink. "Hmmm... I'll just have Scoots do them tomorrow and let her do whatever she wants afterward." She said, staring at the pile of dirty dishes.

Equinox placed the trash into the trash and took the trash out cause the trash can was overflowing with trash. "This was a good party" He said to himself as he placed a new trash bag into the trash can. "Well the trash is taken care off" He said as he yawned a bit. "What else is there to clean" He said

Pinkamena walked back out of the kitchen. "For right now, there is really not much else that needs to be cleaned." She said as she headed for the stairs, yawning as she walked. "Scoots is already in bed and I think I am going to do the same." She continued as she started up the stairs.

"Yeah I might as well also" Equinox said as he looked at Pinkamena. "Think it's okay if I stay here again" He asked as he looked at the ceiling and sighed. "If you were my teacher Celestia...would you have stopped me sooner...or still done nothing" He said to himself waiting for the day of the Gala.

"Do you really have to ask if can stay?" She asked rhetorically with a smile while she continued up the stairs. She walked over to Scootaloo's room and peeked inside, seeing if she was asleep or not. Knowing that she was sleeping, she went to her room and got under ther covers of her own bed.

"You're right" He said seeing Pinkamena leave before he went outside. He took out a small bottle and looked what was inside it. "It's still here...figures" He said as he opened the bottle and looked at the black liquid. "Well...if something bad happens...or if I need to...I still have this" he said to himself

Pinkamena laid under her covers, thinking of what she had to do tomorrow. "I think all I have to do is get a dress." She quietly said to herself. Her mind then wandered to the party that just happened today and she smiled. That was the most fun she had had in a long time. She then dozed off with a smile on her face and snuggling her pillow.

He put the vial away and went back inside and headed up into the room he stayed in before. "Maybe a good night sleep will clear my mind" He said to himself as he fell asleep

 

-Dream-

Equinox woke up in a burning Ponyville. "W-what the hell happened here" He said as he noticed his blade was next to him...covered in blood. "No...I didn't cause this...I couldn't have" He said

Pinkamena found herself in the Royal Castle's ballroom wearing a fancy dress. Music was playing in the background by a small orchestra on the stage. She looked around and saw many well dressed ponies mingling with eachother. She turned and looked all over the ballroom, seeing it was elegantly decorated. She realized she was at the Gala. She turned around to see Equinox smiling at her. She smiled back.

 

"I have a surprise for you. Close your eyes and wait til I say to open them." Equinox said to her. She closed her eyes just as he had asked her. "Okay, you can open your eyes now." A voice said in front of her. She opened them and haltered back from what she saw. The whole ballroom was destroyed, banners we're burning, and bodies were scattered about in pools of blood. She turned to see Deranged looking at her with a psychotic smile holding his katana, which was covered in blood.

"Oh but you did this Equinox" A voice came from behind him and Equinox looked to see Deranged. "You....I THOUGHT YOU LEFT" He yelled as he grabbed the katana but realized it was gone. "Looking for this" Deranged said as he held a pony by their neck. Equinox took a close look then stepped back. "You see...with out her you will be mine again...we can tear the whole town to pieces" Deranged said holding Pinkamena. "I will never...let you be part of me again" Equinox said as his mind was clearing and the body of Pinkamena disappeared. "I won't fall for your damn illusions" He said as his katana appeared. "You are not me" He said stabbing deranged throug the throat. His eyes were closed as he smiled which faded when he opened them to see he didn't stab Deranged...he stabbed Scootaloo. "No....no, no, no" He said as e fell to the ground. "What have I done" He said as tears streamed down his face.

 

 

 

Equinox woke up and looked around. "It...was only a dream" He said to himself. "A horrible dream...damn it...part of him is still in me...isn't it" He asked himself as he looked at his katana on the floor. "Why would that damned dream appear"

Pinkamena glared back at Deranged. "I beat you once. Don't think I can't do it again." She said as she lunged at Deranged. When she swung at him, he dissapated. She stopped herself and quickly turned around, having her cheek cut by Deranged. He disappeared again and Pinkamena instantly stopped in horror at what she saw when the light flickered. With Deranged maniacal laugh echoing through the ballroom, tears rolled down her cheeks as she stared at what was hanging. Scootaloo was hung by hooks through her back and her chest had been ripped open. She couldn't move, all she could is just sit there and watch. From above, Deranged came down and ran his sword through her back.

Pinkamena jolted upright and was breathing heavily. She looked down at her hooves and tears dripped down onto them, glistening on her coat. She started to calm down, but a drop of red fell onto her hoof. She moved her hoof up to her face and found that her cheek was bleeding.

Equinox got out of bed and felt something on his hoof. He looked at it and saw blood. "Why did that happen...what the hell was with that dream" He said to himelf as he left Sugarcube Corner and went to the library. "If this is some deal of a joke it was not bucking funny" He said opening the door. "Twilight...let Derange out now" He said as Twilight nodded. "What the hell do y-" Deranged was interrupted by Equinox grabbing his throat and threw him through the wall. "Get up Deranged I am going to kill you" Equinox said as his hoofs glowed a crimson red color. "What did I do" Deranged asked getting up. "Invading my mind to give me a horrible dream...thats a new low" Equinox said as  he uppercut Deranged sending him into the air. "Well...I AM YOUR NIGHTMARE NOW DERANGED" Equinox said as he jumped up and grabbed Deranged and threw him into the ground. ""Seeping crest of turbidity. Arrogant vessel of lunacy! Boil forth and deny! Grow numb and flicker! Disrupt sleep! Crawling queen of iron! Eternally self-destructing doll of mud! Unite! Repulse! Fill with soil and know your own powerlessness!" Equinox chanted as a black coffin closed around Deranged. "Equinox what the hell are you thinking" Deranged called out

Pinkamena quickly got out of bed and hurried over to Scootaloo's room. She opened the door and was relieved to see that she was sound asleep. She heard the front door open and close quickly and she went to see who it was. When she got to the door, she looked out and saw Equinox enter Twilight's house rather quickly. She went out the door and hurried over to the library. When she got there, she opened the door and went in, seeing Equinox casting some magic at what seemed to be at Deranged who was being encased in a coffin. "Equinox, stop!" She yelled.
