Equinox made a sharp black cross appeared and came close to stabbing it before he heard Pinkamena. "Why...why the hell should I stop" Equinox asked Pinkamena as the cross disappeared. "I am tired of him...this time he has gone too far...that damn nightmare" Equinox said as he crushed a card and several crosse appeared around the coffin. "He still wants to use me...to kill others...he is a murderous monster that will possess me again...cause he knows I won't die once he has control....I'm ending it" Equinox said as he raised a hoof causing the sharp end of the crosses to point at the coffin.

"How do you know that it was him that did it?" Pinkamena asked. "If it was about a nightmare, I had pretty close to the same nightmare. Also, if I am correct, it takes a lot of magic power to take over someone's dreams, let alone two pony's dreams, and cause physical harm." She said, touching her cheek. "Since he is attatched to Twilight to survive because we nearly killed him, do you think he has enough power to actually accomplish this?"

Equinox thought for a moment. "It wasn't me...I'm serious I could do that but to only one pony" Deranged said as he went back to Twilight. "Who the hell would cause a nightmare like that" Equinox said as he felt something and put his hoof to his eyepatch. He went back to SCC and grabbed a paper towel and covered his eye.

Pinkamena followed Equinox back to Sugarcube Corner and watched him cover his eye with a paper towel. "What's wrong with your eye?" She asked him, feeling the cut on her cheek, seeing that had scabbed over. "And about the nightmares, who else would have the power to do that and why?"

"My eye started bleeding for some reason" Equinox said as he looked at Pinkamena. "I only know of Princess Luna being able to do...but she wouldn't do that" He said as he took his eyepatch off and gasped. "I...can see...out of both eyes now..." He said as me made a mirror appear and then dropped it at what he saw. "Thats not possible..." Equinox said as he had a familiar web pattern as his iris in his new eye.

"It was probably from the nightmare." Pinkamena said. "Should we as Princess Luna if she could help?" She asked. She heard Equinox say he could see out of both his eyes and she quickly went up to him and grabbed him under the his muzzle and looked at both his eyes. "How... is this possible?" She asked in disbelief, dropping her hoof.

"Look at how the eye looks...then think back to Arachnid" Equinox said. "Well...I told you I don't die easily...be glad I can't control you but I can cause nightmares to you both I am just a spirit...but I still can do stuff to buck with your life" Arachnid said to Equinox in his mind. "Pinkamena...Arachnids soul is..." He looked down and sighed

"His soul manifested within your body." Pinkamena said as she had a puzzled look of worry on her face. "Looks like he is trying to do to you what Deranged did when he was a part of you." She continued as she looked up the stairs. "We need help. I can't keep having these dreams. They will drive me insane and push myself to do things. Bad things."

"So this is how Deranged spoke" Arachnid spoke. "Pinkamena kill me please" Equinox said as Arachnid laughed. "You now got to live with me...besides you already did bad things like killing two elements of harmony or killing me" Arachnid said. "Great....souls just love binding to me dont they" Equinox said

"Shut-up!" Pinkamena yelled, raising a hoof at Equinox to punch Arachnid, but stopped when she realized it would only hurt Equinox. "We seriously need to get help. Should we go to Princess Luna for help? You apparently have some history with her, and if anypony can help us, it would he her." She said to Equinox.

"She's not gonna help...unless it was Deranged, Arachnid is a alicorn spirit tied to me" Equinox said. "Listen just tell Celestia at the Grand Galloping Gala" Arachnid said. "STOP READING MY MEMORIES YOU DAMN HORSE" Equinox said as he slammed his head against the table

Pinkamena tried thinking of other options and one came into her head. "I'm sorry Equinox." She said as she punched him hard in order to knock him out. She picked him up, dropped him on his bed, and left the store to go to Twilight's. When she got there, she didn't bother knocking and barged right in. "Twilight, I need your help." She said, explaining the situation to her.

"Sorry for w-" Equinox stopped when he was knocked out

 

 

 

"What is it Pinkamena" Twilight asked looking at her. "What happened and why do you have a cut on your cheek" Twilight asked. "Twilight calm down alright" Deranged said as he looked at Pinkamena. "So...what happened" He asked

Pinkamena had realized that Deranged had taken over and was now speaking. "Okay, this will probably make more sense to you than it would Twilight, Deranged." She started. "What had happened is that are dreams we're invaded by what Equinox thought was you. That is why he attacked you earlier. But, it turned out that it was Arachnid that had done it. We thought we had killed him, but his soul has attatched to Equinox the same way you have to Twilight." She finished saying.

"Arachnid...that guy attached himself to Equinox...Well unlike me...he can't be split apart by magic but there is a way with magic though we need three alicorns and so happens that Twilight is an Alicorn herself" Deranged said. "Though...we need dark magic, magic and I can only do that when I'm in control though Celestia will be a problem" Deranged said

"Dammit." Pinkamena muttured to herself. She started to pace back and forth, thinking about how this would possibly work. She turned back to Deranged. "Twilight, you we're listening to all that. Is there anything that you think could be done to help Equinox?" Pinkamena asked Twilight.

"Well...no you really would have to talk to the princesses" Twilight said as Equinox barged into the door. "Speak of the devil and he will appear" Deranged said. "Shut it Deranged" Equinox said. "Well if it isn't my old pal Deranged" Arachnid said. "We are not pals anymore Arachnid...now what the hell do you want" Deranged said

It was getting hard for Pinkamena to follow all four pony's voice with there being only two other bodies in the library. Her head was starting to hurt. "I am going to get some air." She said as she walked over to the door, leaving the library. She went over to a nearby tree and sat under it in the shade.

"Oh I just want to make their life hell" Arachnid said. "You won't be able to" Deranged said as he grabbed something and placed it around Equinoxes neck. "What is this going to do" Equinox asked. "Its supposed to keep Arachnid from controlling you so don't take it off alright" Deranged said and Equinox nodded and left.

Pinkamena was taking deep breaths, calming herself down. She saw Equinox leave the library and she got up from underneath the tree and went over to him. When she got up to him, she noticed something hanging around his neck. "What is that?" She asked, pointing at the thing on his neck.

"Its supposed to keep Arachnid suppressed" Equinox said as he looked at it. "I'll be back" Equinox said as he went to Ever free forest. "I need to let my anger out for a bit" He said as he held his katana. "Stay away from me me I don't want anyone getting hurt" He said

"Ok then." Pinkamena replied to Equinox. She turned toward Sugarcube Corner after he had left for the forest. When she got back to the store, she grabbed her bags and packed up some supplies. She then took out a piece of paper and wrote down a message.

 

"Equinox,

I went to Canterlot to speak with the princesses. I will be gone the whole day. Hopefully, I can get this all resolved before any real harm befalls anyone.

She then left the store and headed for the train station.

Equinox has cut up a lot of trees in an hour before coming back to Sugarcube Corner. "Pinkamena I'm h-" He stopped when he saw the note. He read the not and placed it down. "This is all your fault Arachnid...and yours also Deranged" He said to himself as he placed his katana down and sighed

Pinkamena boarded the train and showed her ticket to the conducter. She chose a seat and threw her her bags in the seat across from her. She sat down and watched the train enbark on its way to Canterlot. She watched Ponyville disappear into the horizon and she turned back to the other seat.

"Well...I guess I can go ahead and" Equinox was about to take the necklace off. "Do not take that off Equinox" Twilight said barging into the room. "Why...it's not Arachnid can cause anyone...besides me a nightmare" Equinox said. "If you do it will weaken you for a short moment but long enough for Arachnid to take you over"
