When Pinkamena was walking, she thought she heard hoofsteps behind her and she looked back. She saw noone behind her and a voice said her name right in front of her. She turned to see a familiar looking pony, and with a second glance, her eyes widened. "Equinox!" She exclaimed as she did a full long jump onto him, tackling him to the ground with a hug. "You're awake!" She started, but then thought of something. "How did you know I was going to be here at this time." She asked him.

"Well I first teleported to Ponyville at midnight and rested at Twilights then when I woke up it was 7 when I meant to meet you at the train station at 6 so I teleported here cause Scootaloo told you were coming to see me" Equinox explained avoiding the part with meeting Scootaloo at midnight.

Pinkamena listened to Equinox's answer to her question and frowned as he finished. She looked at him and smacked him across the face. "That's for not coming to my place right a way when you went to Ponyville." She said as she went in and gave him another hug. "I don't care if it's midnight or whatever time." She continued as a tear rolled down cheek.

"Ow" He said as he hugged Pinkamena back. "I'm sorry I didn't" He said wiping the tears away. "Come one lets head back to Ponyville..." He said as he thought of teleporting but went against that motion. "So how has the shop been over then busy since I was gone" He asked

"Alright." Pinkamena said as they headed back towards the train station. "The store has gotten quite busy the past few weeks. There were a few birthdays here and there, and Hearts and Hooves day is in a few weeks. Business usually picks up fast around now." She replied to Equinox.

"Wait Hearts and Hooves day is coming in a few weeks....wow" He said as he almost tripped but caught himself. "That's great to hear...I think" He said as he thought about asking her what has happened when he was asleep but decided to wait till they got back to Ponyville.

Pinkamena went up to the service counter at the train station and bought both her's and Equinox's train ticket back to Ponyville. She grabbed her ticket and went over to the train to board it. When she got in the train, she went down the aisle and found a place for them to sit. She put her bags down and sat down on the bench.

Equinox grabbed his ticket and boarded a train and sat down next to Pinkamena. "How have Flare and Rarity been anyways did he break up with her in four or seven days" He asked as he remembered something Selene told him. "If you want we can be two seprate ponies...you can watch me and I can be friends with Scootaloo and any other colts and fillies" Selene said in a flashback.

"Actually, I am quite surprised that they're still together. So, here." Pinkamena said as she reached into her bag and pulled out the ten bits that she had placed on the bet with her and Equinox, and handed Equinox the bits. "Yeah, I still remembered that bet." She said to him with a smile.

"Seriously though how is he still with Rarity" He asked as he took the bits. "Twilight and Deranged seemed to be okay....which is odd since I expected Twilight to be annoyed with him by now" He said as he looked out the window. "Well...if you need help around sop I can always help" He said

"I'm not sure how they are still together either. And Twilight seems almost happy that Deranged is there, like she isn't lonely. Everynow and then, I see them getting into heated discussions over things, but that's about it." Pinkamena said to Equinox. "We could always use some help around the store." She looked out the window. "I think I'll take a nap along the way." She said as she laid her head on the wall of the train car and tried to fall asleep.

"Alright" He said. "Twilight not feeling lonely anymore...thats great to hear" He said to himself as he closed his eyes. "You have good friends don't you" Selene asked him as Equinox appeared in an empty space in his mind. "Yeah I do didn't you have any friends Selene" Equinox asked. "No...not really but since I am a part of you I haven't had friends till now" Selene said as Equinox thought about the offer. "You know I might take that offer in making you real...though you will be a colt you should be okay" He said before he opened his eyes

Pinkamena slowly opened her eyes and found herself leaning up on Equinox.She jolted upright and looked away from him out the window, blushing. When looking out the window, she noticed some familiar scenery and realized they were close to Ponyville. She turned to Equinox. "We are almost back to town." She said.

Equinox opened his eyes and looked at Pinkamena. "We are" He asked as he looked out the window. "Cool well thats good to know" He said as he looked back at Pinkamena. "I'm still half asleep for some reason to tell the truth and I don't know why either" He said knowing why.

"Well, when we get back, you can always go and take a nap up in your room." Pinkamena said to Equinox. The train started pulling into town and docked at the train station. Pinkamena grabbed her bags, threw them onto her back, and started to get off the train once the doors were opened by the conducters.

Equinox got up and followed behind Pinkamena. "Thank you I might do that" He said feeling like he hasn't slept at all. "I was asleep for two months and I feel like I didn't even sleep...thats is just odd" He said to himself. "Sure is great to be back though and also you are just suffering from a relapse since you were asleep so long but you were awake in your mind" Selene said to Equinox in his mind

Pinkamena left the station and headed home to Sugarcube Corner. Along the way, she saw Flare and Rarity walking together and waved as she passed by them. She got up to the store and walked inside. "Scoots! I am back from my trip to Canterlot!" She called out, taking her bags off and putting them away.

Equinox smiled at Flare as he passed them both then sigh. "I'm going to ask him why the hell he is still with her...its impossible" He said as he went into Sugar Cube Corner. "Midnight you will split us into two and I will claim to be your little brother" Selene said. "Hey I was wondering if it would be okay if my little brother comes to visit" Equinox asked

Pinkamena looked at him kinda funny. "I never knew you had a little brother. You never mentioned you even had family for that matter." She said, heading into the kitchen. "But, I guess it's alright. Scootaloo could always make more friends." She finished as she whipped herself up something for lunch.

"Cool thanks Pinkamena" Equinox said. "You're right I never did mention my family" He said. "He might be here tomorrow or the day after tomorrow I'm not sure" He said as he rubbed his eyes. "Another thing...that spell they did fixed my eyes..." He said as he went upstairs. "I'm going to get some sleep"

"Alright then. Can't wait to meet him." Pinkamena said as she took a bite out of her lunch. She watched him go upstairs and she decided that now would be a good time to go and stock up on groceries. She grabbed her bags again and went outside towards the marketplace.

Equinox laid down into the bed and his horn glowed. "Okay Selene when the spell is done you are going to be teleported to the entrance of Ponyville...you need an excuse to why you are here early" He said. "Alright..." Selene said as Equinox finished the spell and a colt thats the same age as Scootaloo appeared having a reversed color outlook to Equinox.

Pinkamena was heading to the market when she Scootaloo, Applebloom, and Sweetie Belle running along. "Hello girls." She said as they passed her by. She smiled and continued on her way to the marketplace.

 

The girls were running along their way when Pinkamena said hello to them. "Hello." The girls said in unison as they passed by her. They kept running and noticed a colt standing alone on the outskirts of town. They went up to the colt. "Hi, I'm Scootaloo. What's your name?" She asked him.

The colt looked at Scootaloo. "My name is Selene though my friends called me Pride...I don't why anyways, it's nice to meet you Scootaloo" He said as he looked at the other two behind him. "Who are the other ponies behind you" He asked

"Oh, I'm sorry. These are my friends, Applebloom," Scootaloo gestured towards Applebloom. "Howdy." Applebloom replied. "And this is Sweetie Belle." Scootaloo gestured towards Sweetie Belle. "Hi." Sweetie Belle replied. "So, what are yah doing in Ponyville all by yourself?" Scootaloo asked.
