Meanwhile Equinox woke up and smiled. "Still the day...maybe I should go outside"

Scootaloo looked at him with a surprized look on her face. "Equinox is your brother?!" She asked Selene. "Equinox actually lives with me and another at the bakery here in town. If you wanted, we can take you there." Scootaloo offered to Selene. "And also, what's your cutie mark?" She asked, trying to get a better look.

"Really thats great to know and yes I would like to see him also" He said as he heard the other question about his cutiemark. "Oh I....don't have a cutiemark yet" He said looking down at the ground. "I still don't know what I'm good" He said as he put a smile on his face. "But that still leaves a lot of possibilities to what I am good at" He said

The moment that Selene said he didn't have a cutie mark, all three girl's faces lit up. "Girls." Applebloom said as they huddled up.

 

"What do you girls think?" Applebloom asked.

"I think we should ask him." Sweetie Belle was quick to an answer.

"We could always use more members." Scootaloo said.

"It's settled then." Said Applebloom as they broke apart.

 

"So, how would you like to join the Cutie Mark Crusaders?" Scootaloo asked Selene with a smile.

"Um...sure...if first you tell me what the Cutie Mark Crusaders are actually" He said looking at the girls. "But either way I'll join you guys" He said with a smile

 

 

 

Equinox went outside and looked around and headed to the library. "Twilight and Deranged ar you here" he called out

"It's a group of ponies who don't have cutie marks dedicated to helping other get them." Scootaloo explained to Selene as she bumped hooves with the other two as they got a new member. "Alright, let's go find Equinox." Scootaloo continued as the three started to head towards Sugarcube Corner.

Equinox went back to Sugar Cube Corner with a book and sat at the table and started reading up on alicorns and stopped when he came to a page explaining about Arachnid and stopped reading. "I'll read the page later" He said.

 

Selene followed behind Scootaloo and the others to Sugar Cube Corner

The girls walked up to the store's front door and walked in as Scootaloo held the door for everyone. "Equinox! You here?" Scootaloo called out.

 

Pinkamena finished her grocery shopping and started to head back home from the marketplace.

"Yeah I'm here Scootaloo why do you ask" Equinox said as he looked at her. "Um...who is the colt behind you" He asked as he looked behind Scootaloo and smiled. "Welcome to Ponyville little bro" Equinox said as Selene came from behind Scootaloo. "Great to see you after so long bro" He said

Pinkamena walked up to the front door of the stoor and went inside. When she got into the store, she noticed the newcomer and looked at Equinox and Scootaloo with a perplexed look. "Who is this?" She asked, but then remembered. "Wait. Is that your little brother?"

"Yes this is my little brother Selene also known as Pride" Equinox said as Selene went up to Pinkamena and smiled. "It's really nice to meet you Miss Pinkamena" Selene said as Equinox told him what happened when you call her Pinkie Pie. "You know Selene maybe you should join the Cutie Mark Crusaders since you dont have a cutie mark yet" Equinox said

"He already did." Sweetie Belle butted in.

"Yeah. We asked him before we came here." Said Scootaloo.

"Mhm." Added Applebloom.

 

Pinkamena just smiled at the girls and rolled her eyes. "Well, it's nice to meet you too Selene." She said turning back to Selene. She turned back to Scootaloo. "Can you put away the groceries please." She said, handing Scootaloo her bags.

"He already did...that great to know" Equinox said as he grabbed the book he was reading. "Arachnid... an alicorn who turned evil because of his desire to experiment on ponies and to gain an idea on the madness inside ponies. He had a child that he used for one of his experiments and sent him to a orphanage. the childs name that got sent away was E-"  He stopped reading when he saw the name.   

 

 

"Equinox Sin" He muttered as he closed the book. "That was my father...that explains Deranged and all the shit that happened to me" Equinox said to himself as he read on. "He wanted to send his son into another world which he named Equinox. Equinox was a world"

 

The rest was blacked out so he decided too close the book. "I'm related to someone who used me as an experiment then theres this world which I want to know about...Celestia you have a lot of explaining to do and why you didn't tell me why my father tried to kill me and then possess me" Equinox thought

"Maybe we can get our cutie marks in grocery stocking." Said Applebloom.

"Come on girls!" Sweetie Belle said as they all ran into the kitchen.

 

Pinkamena looked at the girls and chuckled. She looked at Equinox. "What are you reading?" She asked.

"The history of alicorns...and Arachnid was in here" Equinox said as he sounded depressed and angry. "Guess what...Arachnid was my...father" He said looking at Pinkamena. "He amde the world known as Equinox...and he was going to send me there...then pull me out for one of his experiments"

 

"Uh...should I help also" Selene asked

Pinkamena was listening to Equinox, and when he said that Arachnid was his father, she gave him a look of disbelief. "I don't even know what to say..." She said after Equinox was done explaining what he had read in the book.

 

"Sure, c'mon." Scootaloo said to Selene, waving him to follow.

"I cant believe it myself...it explains so little...." Equinox said as his horn glowed. "I'm opening that portal to Equinox..." He said as a portal opened and showed a pretty shit looking Equestria. "So this is Equinox....looks wonderful" He said sarcastically

 

 

"Okay wait for me" Selene said catching up to Scootaloo

Equinox looked at Pinkamena. "Pretty much" He said as he gave Pinkamena a headset. "Use this to talk to me while I am in the portal" He said as he stepped into the portal and started coughing. "It has a horrible smell thats for sure" He said as he coughed more. "Well...this is Sugar Cube Corner..."

Pinkamena took the headset and put it on as she watched Equinox walk through the portal. When he was all the way through, she looked through the portal and saw him coughing quite a bit, but she couldn't hear him cough. She turned on the headset. "Are you okay? You should have worn face mask or something." She said into the headset.

"I'm fine...it takes time to get used to the smell though" Equinox said as he looked around. "Place is very bad..." He said as he continued walking and stopped when he heard some sound come from Sugar Cube Corner. "Well...it's bare together but it looks like Sugar Cube Corner" He said into the headset as he went on inside. "It's pretty clean inside to" He said as he coughed again.

"What's it like in there? Anything like this one?" Pinkamena asked through the headset. "And also, have you seen anyone else yet?" She finished.

 

Scootaloo and the girls came out of the kitchen and saw the portal. "Woah. What is that?" Asked Scootaloo.

"It looks like a portal." Said Sweetie Belle.

"Where does it go to?" Asked Applebloom.

"It sure looks interesting" Selene said as he went up to the portal. 

 

 

"It is pretty much a mirror of yours...hold on I hear somepony" Equinox said using a cloaking spell and waited for whoever her heard to pass by. What he saw made a shiver run up his spine. "Zalgy Cake..." He said to himself not even knowing how he knew the name but watched as she played a prank causing a pony to cry in pain.

Pinkamena quieted down as soon as Equinox told her to hold on. She listened, but only silence cam through the headset. Then the silence was broken when Equinox spoke up. "Zalgy Cake? Equinox, who is Zalgy Cake?" Pinkamena asked Equinox through the headset.

"It this worlds version of you...and she like making jokes but they hurt others" Equinox whispered as he waited for Zalgy to leave before removing the cloak spell. "I dont want any of these ponies finding me...if they do I don't want to know what will happen then" He said as he left Sugar Cube Corner and walked around before seeing a garden with a lot of stone ponies.

"It sounds like this world is controlled or engulfed with darkness." Pinkamena said, listening to Equinox. "Where are you now?" She asked.

 

The girls went up near the portal and looked inside of it.

"It's so creepy." Scootaloo said.

"That place scares me." Sweetie Belle said as she cowered a little.

"Who could live in a place like that?" Applebloom asked.
