When she say saw that the other voice was Equinox, she faltered and dropped the knife from Solstice's throat. When Solstice pushed her off of him, she was in complete confusion. She listened to what Solstice said and she picked up her knife with both hooves and held it with restraint at Equinox.

 

"I don't want to hurt you. Give up the book." She said to Equinox.

"Why should I give up the book?" Equinox asked. "If I do such a thing then this book will just spread chaos everywhere" Equinox said. "For it to be gone for good it must be destroyed but it is not destroyed so easily"

 

Solstice cursed. "He's right...only one thing can dest-" Solstice was stopped when the dark hand grabbed him. "Yes but that book is long gone for good now" Equinox said

Pinkamena saw Solstice get grabbed by a large dark and and bolted up to Equinox. She threw her knife at his front hooves and quickly closed the distance between the two. "I'm sorry for this." She said as she stopped and cocked her hoof back and brought it forward, punching Equinox really hard square to the side of the face. Hoping that will stall Equinox long enough, she ran over to Flame, picked him up, and yelled at Solstice to come with her as she bounded towards the library.

"Damn it all" Equinox cursed as the book shot lances at them. "Watch out" Solstice said hitting the lances away. "Let's go" Solstice said running away from Equinox.

 

"Why must they always run...." Equinox said as odd creatures appeared around. "Shades...come with me...we are taking the Crystal Empire" Equinox said

As Pinkamena was running, she saw that the book shoot lances at them. She prepared herself to try and dodge them, but Solstice knocked them off course. "Thank you." She said to Solstice as she kept running. After a descent sprint, she got to the library and started pounding on the door. "Twilight! Let us in!" She yelled.

"Something used the book" Twilight said shaking a bit. "It was brief but somepony used that book" Twilight said before looking at Deranged. "What ever has the book is leaving Ponyville" Twilight said before hearing a knocking on her door. "Who c-" Twilight stopped when she heard it was Pinkamena and opened the door quickly. "Whats going on" Twilight asked

 

Meanwhile Tiabelle was working at her new shop in Ponyville which was a flower shop before seeing Pinkamena carrying Flame and another Pony following behind them. "I wonder why they were running"

"Ah, screw it." Pinkamena said to herself as she reared back and busted through the door. When she stopped inside, she dropped off Flame on the floor and looked at Twilight. "Twilight. We have a problem." She started as she explained the whole situation of Equinox having the book and attacking them and about Solstice who somehow got to their world.

"Equinox has the book...why...HOW WOULD HE GET IT...it was in a barrier here the whole time but how did he get it" Twilight asked. "What ever we need to get that book back and fast" Twilight said before looking at Solstice. "He's from a different world...interesting but that will be questioned later first off Solstice what do you know of the book"

"I don't know how he was able to get it but he did, Now Twilight do you have any idea where the book Grimoire Weiss weiss is at" Solstice asked.

 

"I may have a feeling it could be in one of three places. The Old Canterlot library and storage, Canterlot Sacred Library, or in the Crystal Palace library" Deranged said

"That could take forever to find it and we need it now!" Pinkamena said in worry. "By the time it takes us to find it, whatever is controlling Equinox will take over and he will be gone!" She finished pleading to the others, hoping they would be able to do something quick.

"Well I can try to teleport us both to one place or we can all split up and search" Twilight said. "It might be best if you and Flame search Old Canterlot. "Me and Deranged will search the Canterlot library, and Solstice will search Crystal Empire" Twilight suggested.

"Please don't leave me with her" Flame said. "Just do it Flame" Deranged said. "Fine" Flame said as he left the library. "I'll get going to the Crystal Empire then" Solstice said.

 

Meanwhile Equinox was approaching The Crystal Empire and and swatted away one of the guards.

Pinkamena thought it was quite ironic that she got paired up with Flame, but now was not the time time be playful. She needed to find that book, and find it fast. She followed behind Flame as they headed out to Old Canterlot. "Let's go!" She said as she ran past Flame towards their destination.

Flame followed behind Pinkamena. "Should have gotten myself patches up but no instead I get thrown into all of this craziness" Flame said. "What if we don't find the book either...what if we don't find it at all" Flame asked.

 

Meanwhile Feeanges looked at Twilight. "It pretty much like Grimoire Noir except it is white" Derange askes

"We will find that book. Even if I have to tear that whole castle apart. We will find it." Pinkamena said, reconfirming her confidence in herself. With that, she bolted even faster to the old castle as she hit the edge of the Everfree Forest, the wind tearing up her eyes..

Flame smiled before taking off flying at a high speeds to the castle. He picked up Pinkamena and landes at the castle. "Thought we could get there faster" Flame said looking at the old decrepit castle. "Let's get searching" Flame said lighting his wings on fire to brighten up the darkness

Pinkamena felt herself get lifted up by Flame and was soon at the front of the old castle. As soon as she hit the ground, she bolted right into the castle, leaving Flame to catch up. She knew her way around this castle like second nature, so she could find her way around the place in pure darkness. She took a right at the first corridor and headed for the library.

Flame headed down to the storage of the castle which was pretty difficult to do so since the door was blocked. Once he moves the debris from the door and went in. "so much old ...all ancient history" Flame said as he looked around and saw many ruined books and suits of old armor.

 

Solstice looked in shock at what happened to the Crystal Empire. It was taken over by odd things.

Pinkamena came into the library and began to search frantically for this grimiore. She started with the first set of shelves and tore down everybook that didn't fit the description. Every time she found a book that was close, she would examine it and find that that book wasn't the right one and she discarded it. She went through many shelves, leaving a massive pile on the ground. "Come on... Where is it?" She said desperately.

Twilight grabed Deranged and quickly headed to the library. "I need to see the secret archives" Twilight said as the librarian nodded and pressed a secret button. She headed in but Deranged had to stay out there since only princesses can enter the the secret archives.

As Pinkamena dug through the last of the shelves, her hope was beginning to falter. She pulled the last book off the shelf and fell back into a sitting position. Her eyes began to well up with tears and an anger began to grow inside of her. She raised one of her hooves and punched one the shelves, cracking the wood and causing dust to fall from the ceiling. "We'll never find it in time..." She said to herself.

Flame almost burned the place down. "This is useless what if we can't find this damn book" Flame said to himself as he came out of the storage. "What if we never find this damn book we'll lose Equinox forever" Flame said.

 

Meanwhile Deranged was looking through books about Myths and found one about the Grimories. "The last time Weiss was found...was in Crystal Empire...that means Solstice has this in the bag" Deranged said

Pinkamena got up and started to slowly leave the castle's library, kicking books along the way. "I bet the others are having just as bad luck as I am." She said to herself, sulking down the corridor. "If he does change, I'm gonna have to... Kill him." She whispered the last part and she just stood there.

"Sounds like something you do everyday and now you suddenly have a change of heart" Flame said coming up behind her. "Listen I don't know what is going on but Equinox will be fine....just hope they find that book" Flame said as he felt a magical presence.

 

"I know where the book is" Deranged said appearing in front of them both. "Solstice is going to get it since it is in the Crystal Empire...I think we should catch up to him" Deranged said

Pinkamena heard Flame come up behind her and speak. She listened to him and after he was done, she moved forward and stongly embraced him, letting the tears from her eyes fall to the ground. As she embraced him, she felt a wierd feeling, but ignored it.
