Lydia stared down Pinkamena. "So you think it's best if you try to take me on....by your self" Lydia said. "Very well" Lydia took a step back before firing a ton of pale blue arrows.

 

 

Equinox lunged at the Shadowlord with both blades and tried to strike the lord. "You really think those blades will do anything" The lord said before blocking both blades. "You are pathetic" The lord pushed Equinox back before summoning a Twinblade.

"Sure seems that way, don't it?" Pinkamena said in a cockish manner. She watched Lydia take a step back and then fire a volley of arrows at her. She attempted to dodge as many arrows as she could, knocking the rest of them away with her dagger. She missed one and it grazed her cheek, leaving a small cut. "You're gonna have to try better than that." Pinkamena said as she moved herself closer to Lydia.

"Oh trust me there is more then just that" Lydia said summoning a staff and a pale blue greatsword fromed near the end of the staff. "Let me tell you something...You shouldn't mess with a magic user at all" Lydia said swinging the Soul Greatsword like it was nothing.

 

The lord spun the twinblade and tried to strike Equnox who kept trying to block the multiple attack from it only to get struck a few times in the process. "You are too slow...I wonder what you thought thinking you could beat me" The lord said before Equinox parried him. "Rule one: Twinblades are easy to parry" Equinox said before a claw appeared and punched the lord

"I haven't had problems with them before. Why would I now?" Pinkamena said to Lydia as she watched her conjure a large sword that looked like it could destroy rocks with ease. Pinkamena then strafed right, unleashing a flurry of scalpels and razors at Lydia. She then stopped and vaulted into the air, holding the dagger close to her face to strike Lydia.

"Simple knives wont work" Lydia said swatting the knives away and swinging the blade again at Pinkamena. "Come on is this all that you can do" Lydia said. Lydia made 5 small souls appear with crystals in them. She fired them straight at Pinkamena and the homed in on her

Pinkamena saw the crystal souls coming at her and she tried to dodge them, throwing scalpels at their crystal's as she dodged them. Taking care of the crystal souls that came after her, she continued to close in on Lydia. She continued to throw more blades at her as she ran up to get in close.

Lydia fired various spell knocking Pinkamena awayf with the soul greatsword. The spells being fired were Soul Vortex, Soul Spear, Crystal Soul Spear, Binding Bolt. All the speel except one. "I've been going easy on you mare" Lydia said manging a hit on Pinkamena

Pinkamena dodged all the spells that Lydia had fired at her, but was knocked away by her greatsword. She recovered and noticed a cut along her side that had started to bleed. "Well, this is going to be fun." She said with a sadistic smile. She took out two glaives and threw them at each of Lydia's side in a curved path. She then dashed up the middle with the dagger and knife in hoof.

"Shockwave" Lydia fired a small ball knocking the glaives away before making the sould greatsword larger. "You really are beciming a p-" Lydia was stopped wehn Equinox stopped her and had the Shadowlord pined to the ground. "I'll end you both if I have to..." Equinox said as the katanas were glowing.

 

A bit before this happened

 

Equinox was bleed from cuts everywhere from his body as he stood up again to block the twinblade again. "Give Up Equinox...join us both you could make this world a better place" The lord said. "Over my dead body" Equinox replied before getting pinned to the ground. "Sad...I guess this story is the end" The lord said before Equinox muttered. "Throne Watcher and Defender....Imbue with magic and lighting" Solstices Katana gained a dark blue aura and Equinoxes was covered in a black elecricity befor ehitting the lord sending him fly. Equinox proceeded to rush the lord with the weapon as fast as he could so the lord couldnt recover. Equinox finallypinned the lord on the ground and....

Pinkamena saw that Lydia had stopped and had averted her gaze over to Equinox and decided this was her chance. She ran up to Lydia, knocked her down, and held the dagger up against her throat. "Any wrong moves and you're done." She said to Lydia. She looked over at Equinox and saw that he had also pinned down his target. "How's it coming on your end?" She asked with a grin.

Equinox looked at Pinkamena and smiled. "Everything is good..." Equinox said as he was still bleeding. "All I say is that Twinblades hurt a lot" Equinox said as he looked at the Shadowlord. "Just so you can never come back again I will end your life and seal you damned soul" Equinox said before getting off the shadow lord and making a scythe appear. "You cursed you self just for wanting to destroy the world, your life is worth nothing..." Equinox said. "Pinkamena...hold Lydia up" Equinox said.

"With pleasure." Pinkamena said in response to Equinox's request. She grabbed Lydia's hoof and wrenched it behind her back. She then picked Lydia up from the ground and held her out towards Equinox. "Alright, ready." She said as she kept Lydia in place, despite her struggling.

Equinox came up to Lydia and striked her with the sytche attempting to take her soul. "Soul of the lost, withdraw from your vessel, may strength be granted so the would could be mended" Equinox started to take the soul out slowly. "Soul of the lost, withdraw from your vessel, so the world become mended, together within. You are cursed by life, For the curse of life, is the curse of want, and so you peer, into flame, in search of absolution" Equinox finished and took Lydias soul.

Pinkamena held onto Lydia the entire time Equinox was doing his ritual. After Equinox was done chanting, she released her and Lydia's body fell to the ground. "Is it over now?" She asked as she went and and looked at Equinox. "Holy shit! You're covered in blood." She said as she went over to him.

"I'll be fine" Equinox said going over to the shaodwlord. "What are you going to do?" The lord asked. "Simple...I'll end you by stealing you soul" Equinox said forcing the Lord up before using the scythe to grab hold of its soul. "Soul of the damned begone from this vessel" Equinox started chanting again. "Soul of the lost begone from the vessle, Let sin of your soul be taken away, along with your life as the soul leaves" Equinox said before continuing. "Corrupted Soul begone from this world...so that life not worry about you"

 

 

Equinox pulled the soul and looked at them both. "Lydias soul...even though she was my teacher she did the wrong thing" Lydias soul was pale blue with spots tinted black. "The Shadowlords soul...dark and corrupted with no means of resolve...there was no life left" The Shadowlords was dark purple. Both souls glowed before Equinox thought of something and placed the souls in a bag.

Pinkamena watched Equinox take the souls out of the body and put them into a bag. "What are you going to do with those?" Pinkamena asked, curious of why he would do that. "Wouldn't it be better to destroy them instead of keeping them with you?" She continued to say to Equinox.

"When they are just a soul they can be made into something wonderful, they can be made into spells, hexes, fire magic, or weapons hell even catalyst" Equinox said. "That is what I plan to do with their souls...either make a magic spell or a weapon with one or both of them" Equinox siad

Pinkamena listened to Equinox's explanation of what he was going to do with the souls and how he could use them. She couldn't really fathom the concept, but she got the gist of what he said. "Anyway, you ready to head home?" She aske Equinox as she sheathed her dagger.

"Yeah...I am" Equinox yawned as the scythe changed into the two katana s in which he sheathed. "I want a long rest after all that has just happened" Equinox said as he looked outside and saw it was night time.

 

 

Selene exited the clubhouse and gazed at the night sky

"Yeah same here." Pinkamena said to Equinox as she followed him outside the cave and saw that it was night time. "Wow, time flies." She said as she looked up towards the sky.

"Wow." Applebloom said as she came outside and looked at the sky.

"Those stars sure are pretty." Sweetie Belle said as she observed the stars.

"Mmmhamnmm..." Scootaloo tried talking, but her mouth was full of snacks and she couldn't form any words.

"Time sure does fly..."Equinox said sitting on the ground. "It wouldn't hurt to just lay here" Equinox laid flat on the ground. "And stare at the sky...or sleep" Equinox said

 

Selene turned to Sweetie and the others and smiled. "It's so beautiful...the night sky and all the stars" Selene said

Pinkamena decided to lay down on the ground as well. As she laid down flat on the ground, she threw her forelegs out to her sides and closed her eyes, taking in a deep breath.

"It is beautiful." Sweetie Belle said as she saw a streak of light go across the sky. "Hey look. A shooting star."

"Oh cool." Said Scootaloo, finally swallowing the food that was in her mouth.

"What, where?" Asked Applebloom as she looked up trying to find it.

Selene smiled. "After seeing a dark sy with the moon...it's great to see the stars" Selene said seeing the shooting star before he thought of something. "I just remembere something" Selene said heading back to the treehouse and pulling out a notebook and a pencil.

 

Equinox closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

Pinkamena opened her eyes and stared at the night sky. After a while of her just gazing at the sky, her eyes began to slowly shut until they were fully closed and she had drifted off to sleep.

"Where yah goin'?" Applebloom asked Selene as he ran back into the clubhouse.

"Aren't you gonna stay out here?" Asked Sweetie Belle.

"His loss." Said Scootaloo as she continued to stare at the sky.

Selene came out soon after and drew the night sky. "I'm going to draw the night sky" Selene said. "I like to be able to draw what I think is very memorable" Selene said. "Trust me I don't want to miss any of this" Selene said

 

Equinox yawned before slowly drifting off to sleep.
