"Besides if I told you...I would have to kill you" Equinox said as Flare backed off and went back to dancing. "I love messing with you Flare..." He said as he went over to get some punch. "I wonder where Surprise is at...I haven't seen him act crazy in a while..unless he's still dancing"

Surprise was watching Equinox through the punch bowl, making his face weird and oblong. "I'm right here." She said as she popped up. "And I am a mare, not a stallion you silly filly, you." She said as she smiled and took out straw and started to drink with it from the punch bowl.

"Uh...what" Equinox said seeing Surprise. "You're a mare...but Flare said you were a stallion" Equinox said as a metal feather shot passed him. "Listen if you want to get mad...get mad at Flare" Equinox said as another metal feather shot passed him. "Also I think Flare wants to dance with you also" He said sinckering

Surprise just smiled and continued to drink punch.

 

Pinkamena was starting to get tired. "Come on, you. Let's go get some punch." She said to Gummy as she walked over to the snack table and poured herself a cup and some into a bowl for Gummy. "So, how do you like the party so far?" She asked Equinox.

"I love this party" Equinox said as he looked at Pinkamena. "Also...the metal feather is Flares doing" Equinox said as another metal feather shot by. "Do that again Flare I will kill you" He said as he glared at Flare. "Hey Pinkamena does the punch have anything alcoholic in it" He asked

That's good to hear." Pinkamena said as she caught the metal feather and flicked it back at Flare. She turned back to Equinox and listened to his question. "No. There's no alcohol in it since Scoots is here. Otherwise, I probably would have put some in." She replied to Equinox.

"Just making sure" He said as he heard Flare yell out as the feather hit him in his back. "It's what you get for trying to hit me" Equinox called out as he took another drink of the punch. "Cause Flare only doest dumb stuff like thhis when he's drunk" Equinox said remembering one time Flare was drunk.

"I would rather not have him drunk, he'll probably ending up breaking stuff and throwing up somewhere, and I don't feel like cleaning up after him." She said as she looked down at gummy, who was having a staring contest with Surprise, who was also wall-eyed. "Uhhh... okay then." She said, confused.

"Surprise...what are you doing" Equinox asked as Flare came by. "Hey Equinox you don't mind if I date Rarity right" Flare asked as Equinox facehoofed. "Go ahead she's all yours" Equinox said hoping Flare stops acting stupid soon...or 3 days later. "If he comes to me all hurt he has himself to blame"

"I am winning." Surprise said quietly, focusing on Gummy.

 

Pinkamena took another drink of her punch and nearly spit it up when Flare said he wanted to date Rarity. 'Oh boy, this won't end well.' She thought as she chuckled a little at Flare's statement while she took another drink of her punch.

"Well...Flare can be stupid at times" Equinox said as he looked at Gummy and Surprise. "You have got to be kidding...you still trying to beat him" Equinox said. "But hey once Flare see's what Rarity really is then he might act smart...hopefully" Equinox said as he looked at Surprise. "Don't blink"

"I will beat him..." Surprise said as her eyes started to twitch. "I will not blink."

 

"Yeah, I can telll. But, hopefully some time with Rarity will fix that." Pinkamena said as she finished her glass of punch. She looked down at Gummy and Surprise and just sighed.

"Rarity might do more then fix it though" Equinox said. "Also Surprise....Gummy has something in his eyes that makes so he won't have to blink" He said seeing Surprises eyes twitch a bit. "You think she will win" Equinox whispered to Pinkamena. "I don't think she will win"

"I must not blink." Surprise said as her eyes we're watering. Gummy then blinked one eye at a time. "Yay! I won!" Surprise yelled as she jumped up and hit her head on the bottom of the table. "Owwie, owwie, owwie." Muttered Surprise as she rubbed her head.

 

"He'll just have to learn the hard way then." Pinkamena replied to Equinox. She looked over at Surprise when she saw the table shake. "She actually won. Wow." She said as she just shook her head and sighed.

"But his eyes need to blink at the same time...so technically you didn't win" Equinox said as he looked at Surprise under the table. "You okay that sounded like it hurt" He said as he got up from under the table and sighed. "This is a good party" He said as he saw Flare leave with Rarity. "I'm going to start a timer" Equinox said as he did so.

"That's not fair, I will never win. And yeah, I'll be fine." Surprise said as she got up from underneath the table and started to munch on a slice of cake.

 

Pinkamena saw Rarity leave with Flare and Equinox put up a timer. "I give it five days." She said as she took out ten bits and placed them on the table.

"Flare is pretty tough I will give him four days cause I know he will be drove crazy by Sweetiebell" Equinox said placing five bits on the table. "Besides...I heard she's sadistic...or whatever it's called" Equinox said as he looked at the punch. "Also Surprise....How did oyou became friends with Flare" Equinox asked

"It's a bet then. And yeah, she kinda is that way." Pinkamena said to Equinox.

 

Surprise looked over at Equinox and listened to his question. "Hmmm..." she muttered as she put her hoof to her head and stuck out her tongue to think. "Was it, the best flyer competition? Or the anual water collection? Or the cloud factory? I can't remember." She said, giving Equinox a smile.

"Flare told me the cloud factory....but then again he's told me a lot of things" Equinox said. "Well...how about you try to remember then" Equinox said as he stopped drinking for a bit. "You know...I just noticed something about Fluttershy" He whispered to Pinkamena

"Actually, I do remember. It was the cloud factory. We met when I accidentally hit a lever, which dumped a couple hundred gallons of water on him. I flew down to see if he was okay, and I bursted out laughing because he was drenched." Surprise said as she giggled a bit at herself.

 

"What a way to meet." Pinkamena said. She then turned to Equinox. "What is it that you noticed?"

"She takes care of animals right...so if she's gone...won't the animals die or something...along with Angel" Equinox whispered before looking at Surprise. "Heh...he must have been mad at you but relaxed...he always liked making friends...it's how I met him one time...though D-...never mind" Equinox stopped talking

"Some of the other ponies in town took up that task when everyone thought Fluttershy went missing, so the animals are cared for. Angel, on the other hoof, I haven't seen in forever." Pinkamena whispered to Equinox.

 

"Yeah. He just started laughing after he realised what happened." Surprise said as she took another slice of cake from the table.

"Oh...okay" Equinox said as he went to get a piece of cake and saw almost all of it was gone. "Wow Surprise are you going to leave some cake for the other ponies by any chance" Equinox said as he got a slice and took a bite out of it. "Well...this is a good cake...glad I got a piece before it was gone"

"Hehe... sorry." Surprise said with a guilty smile while her mouth was still full of cake.

 

"I might as well grab a piece before what's left is eaten." Pinkamena said as she grabbed one of the few pieces of cake that were still left. "Next time, I think I'll make more than one cake if it goes like this one." She continued as she smiled

"That might be a good idea" Equinox said as he looked at Surprise and then Pinkamena. "It's almost like looking at clones" Equinox said to himself as he laughed a bit inside. "You know if I find close lookalikes of other ponies we know I must get to know them" I said
