Pinkamena walked to Twilight's house to see if Equinox was still there. Whe she arrived, all the lights were out. "Hmmm... nobody here. Does he really think he can run?" She said to herself. She then walked back to Sugarcube Corner to go get some things. Before she went in the door, she noticed a small mark on the ground. "So you did come back, but you decided to run away." She looked around for any hiding places and noticed a cloud emitting little puffs like something hit it. "Found you."

Equinox loked down from the cloud. "I wanted some sleep so I decided to sleep on the cloud for a short bit" Equinox partially lied he was tired but he wanted to get away from Pinkamena. "I'll come down in about 25 minutes" Equinox said as he went to sleep on the cloud

"Alright then. I will be back in those 25 minutes. And if you aren't up, you will be in for a rude awakening." Pinkamena said to Equinox. She then continued to go back inside and down into the lower floors. "Hey Scoots. Go fetch me my bags." She ordered Scootaloo. "Ok Pinkamena." Replied Scootaloo as she ran off. Pinkamena went up to her workbench and started to get ready for her plan.

"I'll probably be out of Ponyville in that time" Equinox said as he went over thoughts. "Then again that means Deranged still lives...to torture me till I die" Equinox said as his cloud spell wore off and he fell through the cloud hitting the ground hard. "SON OF A HORSE THAAT HURTS" Equinox said as he got up in pain.

"Here are your bags Miss Pinkamena." Said Scootaloo as she handed over the bags. "Thanjs Scoots. Now go have yourself some treats from the store." Replied Pinkamena with a smile. "Yay! I have always wanted to try some of that marzipan mirangue madness that you made!" Scootaloo exclaimed as she ran off again. Pinkamena then put her tools into her bags and went back outside to see Equinox getting up off the ground. "Time's up."

"Hold one" Equinox said as he limped over to Pinkamena. "II thought the cloud spell latsed a whole day" Equinox said as he looked at Pinkamena. "Whats the bags for exactly" Equinox said as his horn glowed and struck a biig sewing needle through healing him. "Much better...pain is all gone" Equinox said

"Well apparently it doesn't. So go cry about it." Pinkamena replied to him. "These bags are for the trip. We are going to go and give the castle a little visit ans see if we can't find that heart. Now hurry up and let's go. We are burning up moonlight and I want to get this done before dawn."

"I got what I need" Equinox said as he made a bag appear and a crimson red dagger with a rune inscribed into it and his katana. "Also you dont have to act like that" Equinox said giving a look of annoyance at Pinkie Pie. "Come on lets get this done so you can kill me and get this horrible life of mine over with" Equinox said with a monotone voice noting that he doesn't care if he gets killed

Pinkamena hurried along and smiled to herself over Equinox's annoyance with her attitude. "If we keep this pace, we should be able to get there within the next two hours. The guards there should be pretty light and sparsely arranged, so sneaking by them should be easy enough." Said Pinkamena as she bursted out into a full sprint.

"I think I can just teleport there..." Equinox said as he disappeared and was in Canterlot waiting for Pinkamena. "Its funny how she think I can't do much" Equinox said sneaking up yo two of the guards and then stabbed them both in the neck letting their blood squirt all over. "She has such boring ideas killing them is easier" Equinox remarked as he removed the bodies and cleaned the blood

'That little cheater. He better not do anything wreckless.' Thought Pinkamena as a teleport flash went off behind her. After the hour or so to get to Canterlot, she snuck up to the castle. When she looked around, she noticed something strange. 'Where are the guards? They should be here. He better not have killed them.' She thought as she crept around, looking for a good way in.

"Took you long enough" Equinox said as he held a bloody crimson red danger in his hoof. "I never liked it here...and besides I only killed two the other guards are in a pile knocked out" Equinox said as he looked at pinkamena. "Sorry was I supposed to not kill any of them" Equinox said

As soon as she heard what Equinox said, Pinkamena put her face in her hoof and sighed. "None of them were supposed to be killed, let alone touched. Now when they regain consiouceness, they are gonna sound the alarm. So brilliant thinking there genius. We are gonna have to hurry now before the guards wake back up." Said Pinkamena as she quickly went into the castle.

"They don't wake up for a while...not while I have the sleeping spell in effect" Equinox said as he made sure they don't wake up till they are gone. "Now if you didn't run off I would have teleported us both but you thought running was better" Equinox said as he went up into the castle with a cloaking spell. "Got to learn that when you have magic you can do a lot of stuff"

"Well, at least you kinda covered your tracks." Replied Pinkamena. "And I could care less about magic. I am an earth pony, so I can't use magic, and the chances of me having it as a readily availabe resource are extremely slim to none. So, I am going to stick with what I do best, and that's the way we are going now."

"Yeah uh you ever think that the heart could be prote-" "HALT" Equinox was interrupted by a familiar voice. "Uh oh" Equinox said as he turned around to see. "P-P-Princess Luna" Equinox stuttered as he turned to see her. "We are so dead" Equinox said. "What is thou doing here where access is forbidden at this time...EQUINOX" Luna said as she yelled at the sight of Equinox. "Shit and she remembered him. "I'm dead"

Pulling off one of her anti-physics moves, Pinkamena vanished without a trace into the next hallway. 'Hehe, that was close. Good luck back there.' Thought Pinkamena as she went further away from Princess Luna and Equinox. 'Now, where could a heart be in a place like this?'

"Listen Luna I'm just h-" Before Equinox could finished he was tackles by Luna into a hug. "Uh...Luna why are you not trying to kill me" Equinox asked. "Cause you faced your fear of me trying to kill you plus I'm glad youre still alive since you are with Pinkamena" Luna said as she and Equinox got up. "Wait how long did you....never mind" Equinox said as he was given a jewel. "That's the heart you are looking for...now go before Celestial gets here" Luna said as she left

Pinkamena was getting extremely irritated as she checked more and more rooms with nothing to be found. "Where the buck could this thing be? It shouldn't be this hard to find. Well, at least I can roam with no guards around, but still. Where is it!?" Pinkamena said as she checked more rooms with a progressively growing anger.

"I wonder if I should tell her" Equinox said as he held the jewel/orb in his hooves. "Hey Equinox thanks" Equinox teleported to where Pinkamena was. "Here it is now...we need to break it and Deranged is here to take it from us so...yeah we should hurry" Equinox said

"How did you get it? Did Luna not kill you?" Pinkamena asked him with irritation. "And also, how is that low-life here? Can he like track you anywhers?" She stared at the jewel/orb. "The question is, is how are we going to break it? Because, it looks to hard to break with a conventional knife."

"Okay first off I don't know why she gave it to me and let's figure out how to break it later" Equinox said as he teleported them both back to Sugar Cube Corner. "Okay so the orb is what keeps him from dying so when its broken turn Deranged into a cupcake." Equinox said

Lurching back and forth, Pinkamena had a headache from the teleportation. "I am still not used to that." Regaining her composure, she went over to her supply closet. "Let's see... what to break it with. No, no, nope, eh... no..." she said as she dug through the closet throwing out items. A knife, a shoe, a jack-in-a-box, a rubber chicken, and a banana peel. "Ah! Here we are!" Said Pinkamena as she popped up from under the table and struck the heart with a sledge hammer.

Equinox watched as the orb didn't shatter. "Let me try" Equinox said as she used magic to cause an explosion but the orb still didn't break. "Well...this thing is hard to break" Equinox said as his horn glowed and his katana appeared. "Let's see if the katana cat cut it up" Equinox said

"She was a little surprized when the sledge hammer didn't break the heart. "Damn. That this is strong." She said as she watched Equinox try his hand at it. When tried a magical explosion, her hair got blasted back and went all poofy. She shook her head and it went back to being straight. Equinox then was gonna try his katana on it. "Good luck trying that. It probably won't even put a scratch in it." Pinkamena said to him.
