"Uh how high is the tightrope exactly" He asked. "Also is this really such a good idea to do anyways" He added to what he asked before

 

 

 

"Yeah I guess it is but hey its better then doing nothing I suppose" He answered as he went upstairs and grabbed a whetstone and his katana and started sharpening it.

"Not too sure. Hayloft's about twenty feet tall, so, anywhere from that to ten feet on the tree." Answered Applebloom.

"Sounds perfectly safe to me." Scootaloo said confidentally.

"I don't know..." Said Sweetie Belle.

"Well have fun." Pinkamena said to Equinox before he left as a customer came in. She walked over to the counter. "How may I help you?"

At the same time Selene also said the said the same thing as Sweetie Belle and decided to add something. "Is there anything below to cushion the fall so we don't hurt our selves" He asked

 

He started sharpening his katana till the whetstone chipped. "Odd..I thought these didn't get chipped

"I've got some pillows we could throw underneath." Replied Applebloom.

"We'll be fine." Said Scootaloo in a cocky way.

"I'm not going first." Said Sweetie Belle kind of meekly.

 

...

 

"Here you go. Thank you for coming." Pinkamena said to the leaving customer. She then went back into the kitchen and got herself a glass of water. "Business is picking up quite fast." She mumbled as she took a drink.

"I'll go first" Selene bravely said with a confident yes scared look on his face. 

 

Equinox went downstairs  and went up to Pinkamena. "Hey do you have a spare whetstone lying around mine is chipped...badly" He held the whetstone up for her to see it. "I didn't think these became chipped"

"Alright." Said Applebloom as she led Selene up to the barn.

"This is gona be good." Said Scootaloo to herself.

"If you do fall, I'll try helping cushion your fall with magic." Said Sweetie Belle.

"Hmmm... Weird." Pinkamena said as she looked at the whetstone. "I think I have some downstairs somewhere if you wanna try there." She said to Equinox.

"Thanks Sweetie Belle" He smiled at her before he followed Applebloom up to the tightrope. "So you d stuff that's like this all the time" He asked her.

 

 

"Thanks Pinkamena" He went downstairs and went through the drawers looking for the whetstones. "UM which drawer is it

"Yeah, sure." Applebloom lied, trying not to scare him.

Scootaloo went with them and was right behind Selene, impatiently waiting to go.

Sweetie Belle got under the rope with the pillows in case Selene fell.

Pinkamena watched Equinox go down to the basement and then returned to the front to see that two more ponies had walked in. She quietly sighed and went up to them and helped them.

He started to walk on the tight rope slowly and felt the wind blow lightly. "Not bad so far...just take it slowly" He said to himself

 

 

 

 

He opened another drawer and found various knive. "Not in here" He kept opening more drawers find random stuff and found. "What the buck is this" He threw it away felling quite disturbed by it"

Applebloom had gone down by Sweetie Belle to help with the pillows. "You're doin' good." She called up.

"Don't fall." Scootaloo said to Selene.

Sweetie Belle just stayed right underneath Selene with as many pillows as she could carry.

Pinkamena finished helping the two ponies and went over to the basement door. "You find it?" She called down to Equinox.

"I-woah" Selene started losing his balance but caught himself stayed for a bit before continuing onward. "I'm okay" He called out

 

 

"Yeah I found it" He said as he looked at the whetstone and felt it. "I had a fake one cause this feels different then the one I tried to use on my katana"

"Be careful." Applebloom said as she readied to catch Selene.

Scootaloo giggled a little when she saw Selene losing his balance.

Sweetie Belle nearly dropped all the pillows when she thought Selene was going to fall.

"How dd you have a fake one?" Pinkamena asked Equinox out of curiousity.

"I'm fine really...also quit laughing Scootaloo" He said as he dropped down, hung on the rope, swung and jumped up before landing back on it and posing as he tried to make Scootaloo jealous. "Now to continue one he said walking slowly across the rope.

 

 

 

"I don't know I got it form a store....theres the problem I got it from a thrift store before I even came to Ponyville"

"Nice job Selene." Said Applebloom.

"Scootaloo stuck her tongue out and frowned when she saw Selene jumping on the rope.

"You're doing good." Sweetie Belle said.

"Why did you go to a thrift store? Why not a blacksmith or something." Pinkamena asked. "Heck, even make your own. That's what I do."

"Thanks" He said as he made it to the end of the rope. "There I made it" He smiled

 

 

 

"I was little when I got the whetstone alright" He said as he went upstairs and grabbed his katana. "Plus I didn't know better also" He added before he started sharpening the blade

"Good job Selene. Scootaloo, your up next." Said Applebloom.

Scootaloo went up to the rope and slowly started to get onto it one hoof at a time.

"This isn't going to end well." Sweetie Belle said to herself as she watched Scootaloo.

Pinkamena just smiled at Equinox as he went upstairs. She turned around and went back towards the front to wIt for more customers to come into the store.

"Hey Scootaloo don't fall" He said as he watched her walk across the rope. "Be careful"

 

 

Equinox continued sharpening the katana till it was sharp enough to cut steel. "I think its sharp enough" He swung it around and it distorted the air as he swung it. "A bit too sharp"

"Oh hush." Scootaloo said as she quickly got over the first quarter of the rope. "I'll be fi..." she started, but slipped and started to fall. The girls rushed and placed the pillows underneath her, but Scootaloo caught herself on her hind leg. "Whew." She sighed in relief. The rope then snapped and Scootaloo fell face-first right into the pillows.

"Wow, today is busy." Pinkamena said to herself, watching more ponies come in as she went up and helped them.

"Hmmm...I believe that is what some ponies call Karma" He said as he jumped down and went over to them. "You okay Scoots" He said looking at her with a smile on his face ready for what would happen

 

 

 

"Hey Pinkamena you need any help" Equinox called out from upstairs

"Don't say a word." Scootaloo said as she slowly got up and brushed herself off from the dirt.

"Thank Celestia you're okay." Sweetie Belle said.

"Nothing seems to be broken." Applebloom said as she looked over Scootaloo.

"I should be fine for now. It's not that bad yet." Pinkamena replied back up the stairs.

"Hey guess what Scootaloo....you fell...and I didn't" Selene smiled before he stood back. "I think they call it karma" He said before he bowed.

 

 

 

Alright well just call me if you need help with anything" He went back upstairs and sheathed the katana. "You will be needed again soon"

Both Applebloom and Sweetie Belle laughed at what Selene had said. Scootaloo gave him a slight glare and hit him square ij the shoulder with a solid hit.

"I will." Pinkamena replied to Equinox. One by one, she helped the customers, and they left. "That should he it for the day." She said to herself as she went and flipped the door sign to closed.

Selene countered Scootaloo and didn't hit her back. "Well...I did learn from Equinox on how to counter and redirect enemies to hit the ground" He said as he smiled and held a hoof out to help Scootaloo up

 

 

 

"So you didnt need me to help at all" He said as he came down the stairs

Scootaloo looked up at Selene holding out his hoof and pushed it away and got up on her own. She then started grumbling to herself and walked off.

"Oh, don't mind that. She'll be fine in a while." Sweetie Belle said as she went up to Selene.

"Yeah, She jus' needs to get over herself." Applebloom said, coming up next to Sweetie Belle.

 

"Probably not today, but tomorrow I will. That's when business explodes." Pinkamena replied to Equinox.

"Does she not like me or something" He asked seeing Scootaloo head off. "Or is she just mad that she fell and I didn't"

 

Equinox smiled. "Well it is almost Hearts and Hooves Day" He said as he looked out side. "Usually around that time it would get busy at this time"
