"It's not that's she doesn't like you, it's just she's too stubborn to see she's not the best at everything." Sweetie Belle said to Selene.

"Yeah, she jus' storms off an' about ten to fifteen minutes, she'll be back, right as rain." Added Applebloom.

 

"I don't expect it to get any busier today than what it is now. It's always the day before that everypony rushes in to buy stuff, and it's usually me and Scoots rushing to keep up with it all." Pinkamena said to Equinox.

"Well if you want me and Selene can help you both out if need be" He said in a sincere tone.

 

 

"Ah...Stubbornness is bad but it is what makes some ponies who they are actually" Selene said before sighing. "Just wish Equinox wouldn't be so shy at times though" He said to himself

"I would be so grateful if you two helped me with the store tomorrow. You would probably save me a few bruises on my head from me pounding it against the wall." Pinkamena said as she smiled in relief.

 

"Hopefully she will learn to get over it." Applebloom said.

"It's not healthy for her to keep doing this." Said Sweetie Belle.

"Hopefully I do" He said in a joking matter. "Plus it hasn't been crazy since we got rid of Arachnid" He said

 

 

"Well...maybe I can help with that she might listen...then again she might not but I'll never know unless I try to" Selene smiled sounding optimistic as ever as he said that. "

"Yeah, but it's been this way for a countless number of years. So, it's nothing new. Thanks for the help." Pinkamena replied to Equinox.

 

"Good luck with that." Said Applebloom.

"Everytime she does this, she hides and we can never find her until she decides to come back." Added Sweetie Belle.

Hm..." Selene looks at the ground. "Follow me" He follows the hoof steps that Scootaloo made. "Equinox taught me that if you are looking for somepony hidden is to use their hoof steps to track them down and if they end look around for where they went" Selene said

 

 

"Hey its no problem" Equinox said

"We tried that and got close to her, but she bolted off and started to move through places where everyone walks, so we lose track of her." Said Sweetie Belle as she followed Selene.

"But, I guess you would probably have better luck than us." Applebloom said as she followed behind.

 

"Hey, now that I think about it, we could use some sacks of flour for tomorrow, there is only about four left, which is not enough for tomorrow. you think you could run and get some more?" Pinkamena asked.

"I'll be able to catch her" He said with confidence in his voice. "Besides it should be easy to see her since all I got to do is remember what she looks like" He said as he continued to follow the hoofsteps

 

 

"Sure I got a ton of time on my hooves anyways" Equinox said as he left to go and get flour.

"We'll be right behind you." Applebloom said as she and Sweetie Belle nodded.

 

Scootaloo was running along, angry at herself for being such a failure. "Why can't I do anything right." She grunted to herself as she passed across the shallow part of the river. She ran over to a big oak and decided to crawl into the little hole in the base of the oak. She huddled herself in tight and grabbed a broken branch from nearby and covered herself up as she began to silently cry. "I'm such a loser." She quietly mumbled to herself.

 

"Thank you." Pinkamena called out to Equinox as he went out the store.

Selene stopped when he noticed the tracks stopped. "They stopped" He started to look around. "Scootaloo where did you go" He called out. "Quit being stubborn"  He muttered to himself.

 

 

Equinox went to the store and brought 10 bags of flour just to be safe for the next few days.

"Scootaloo!" Applebloom called out as she looked around.

"Where are you Scootaloo?" Said Sweetie Belle, somewhat lost.

 

Scootaloo heard the other three calling out nearby and she went completely silent. She moved her eyes over to the broken branch to see if it was fully covering the hole she was hiding in. She slowly reached and adjusted the branch and huddled back up and sat there silently and motionless in hopes to not being found.

 

Pinkamena went into the kitchen and started to prep and bake items that were going to be needed for the next day. She looked at the list she had made and sighed. "Well, time to get started." She said to herself as she gathered ingredients.

"Scootaloo...come on where are you" He called out again and looked around and noticed a broken branch near a hole. He went nearby and was about to move the branch.

 

 

 

Equinox arrived home with the flour in his magic grasp with one on his back. "I'm back and I brought the flour also"

Scootaloo heard Selene's voice getting closer and hoofsteps very near. Her eyes widened when the little bit of light that was going through the branch went dark. She knew Selene was standing right there and was going to look in the hole and find her. She held her breath until it happened.

 

"I can't find her." Sweetie Belle said dismally.

"Hey Selene, see anything?" Applebloom called out to him.

 

Pinkamena poked her head out of the kitchen, her face splotched with batter. "You can set those in the pantry over there." She said as she returned to the kitchen.

Selene grabbed the branch and moved it and saw Scootaloo. "There you are" He said. "I found her" He called out to Applebloom and Sweetie Belle.

 

"Alright" Equinox said as he headed over to the pantry and set the flour inside. "I wonder what Selene and the girls are doing at the moment"

Scootaloo saw Selene move the branch and see her. She sighed and slowly got out of the hole and got up. "Sorry I ran off." She said as she looked at everyone.

"Oh thank Celestia we found you." Said Sweetie Belle, smiling.

"You should really stop runnin' off like that." Applebloom said.

 

"They're probably out playing at the farm still." Pinkamena answered Equinox.

"Well we got worried when you ran of so we came looking for you, Besides the sun is going down right now" Selene said. "Friends stick together dont they"

 

"Still...well they should get back home soon the sun is going down right now at the moment" Equinox said as he looked out the window

Scootaloo smiled, cheering up a little. "Yeah, 'til the end. Let's get back." She said to Selene.

"I wonder if we could get some treats." Sweetie Belle thought outloud.

"I should probably get back to my house since it's getting late." Said Applebloom.

 

"Give 'em a little bit. They should show up soon." Said Pinkamena from the kitchen.

"Well lets get home then" Selene said as he started heading back. "My head still hurts from running into that tree" He said rubbing his head.

 

"Alright" Equinox said as he yawned. "Probably should start making dinner soon" Equinox said

"Yeah. If we stay out any later, they would probably start to worry." Said Scootaloo as she followed next to Selene.

"I'm just going to go with you guys 'til I reach my house. Rarity must be wondering where I am." Sweetie Belle said as she followed behind the others.

 

Pinkamena saw Equinox yawn and she followed suit. "Stop that, it's contagious." She said as she smiled. "So, what's on your mind for dinner?" She asked.

 

(Just thought I'd celebrate the holidays a little. Lol.)

"Well let's get going then" Selene said to Sweetie Belle. "Besides be glad Flame didn't propose to her yet" Selene said

 

"Heh sorry" Equinox said as he thought for a moment. "I have no idea what to have for dinner to tell the truth" He said as he suppressed a yawn. "What is there to eat anyways" He asked.

"Bleh." Sweetie Belle replied to Selene as she made a gagging gesture and then began to laugh a little.

 

"Here, let me look." Pinkamena said to Equinox as she went and looked in the pantry. She opened the pantry and frowned. She then then went over and checked the fridge with the same results. "Seems I have to go grocery shopping for actually groceries soon." She said as she walked out of the kitchen. She looked over to Equinox. "Wanna go out to eat?" She asked.

Selene laughed. "Don't worry I don't think that will happen...then again Equinox has been worng about a few things before" Selene said.

 

 

Equinox thought for a moment. "Sure since there is nothing to eat here" Equinox said as he made a note appear. "Just incase they get here while we are gone"

Sweetie Belle rolled her eyes jokingly at Selene's comment. "I gotta turn off here. See you guys later." She said as she turn to head towards her house.

"See yah." Scootaloo replied. She looked over at Selene. "So, what do you think's for dinner? I'm starved." She asked.

 

"Okay. I'll be right there, I'm going to grab my bag and some bits." Pinkamena said as she went upstairs to retrieve the items.

"See ya Sweetie Belle" Selene said as he turned to Scootaloo. "I have no idea what is going to be for dinner to tell the truth" Selene answered as he sighed.

"Alright" He said placing the note on the fridge. Once he did he grabbed some bits and his saddle bag

"Well, you're a bunch of help." Scootaloo said sarcastically to Selene. She looked around and noticed some lights turning on around the town. "Wow, it's getting dark kinda fast. We should hurry." She said.

 

Pinkamena came back down the stairs with all her stuff. "Any sign of 'em?" She asked Equinox.
