Equinox closed the door and saw the girl known as stone. " So...you finally came Equinox...here to kill me?" Stone asked. "before you do answer this, What are you gaining by following the orders the princesses orders...you killed the others but I know you regret it...when you killed Zalgressa you felt sad....killling Dimmed Star made you angry...killking rotten bunch made you lose your sanity...you are deciding if you should kill me or not" Stone said. " Yeah...it's true but it's the only way I can keep out from being arrested...Good bye Stone..." Equinox left but was stopped. " Equinox you must kill the queen...if she does then this world will be nor-" She was stopped after being stabbed. She took the cloth from her eyes and froze Equinox before dying.

Pinkamena was starting to get impatient waiting outside. She had guessed it had been about ten minutes from when Equinox entered the building. She said screw it and went in after Equinox. She opened the slowly opened the door and walked inside. She looked around and saw many different statues around. 'These must have been her victims.' She thought. She continued to walk forward. It was somewhat dark in there, so she couldn't see too well. As she walked, she stepped in something wet on the floor and she stopped. She picked up her hoof to look at what she stepped in, and before she even saw it, the stench of blood filled her nostrils. Panic started to take hold in her. 'Is this Equinox's blood?!' She frantically thought. She slowly crept forward and noticed a body laying on the floor. She was afraid to see who's corpse it was as it might be Equinox's, but she slowly crept up to it and was relieved by what she saw. A mare with snake-like hair was laying dead on the ground in front of her. Then a thought came to mind. 'If she was here, then where's Equinox?' She questioned herself as she looked up and jumped back, answering her question. In front of her was Equinox, but he wasn't moving and no sounds were coming from him. "Shit. She got him." She said to herself as she took out the gold needle. "Alright. I'm supposed to use this... But how?" She asked herself. She touched it to Equinox, she poked him with it, she even tapped him repeatedly, but nothing was happening. She began to tear up and was getting worried. She didn't know what to do and now, She had lost him forever. In her frustration, she threw the needle, not aiming in any particular direction, and it flew and embedded itself in Equinox's forehead.

Equinox became unpetefied and toook the needle out of his forehead. "Ow that hurts" Equinox said as he looked at Pinkamena. "Listen...sorry about having to scare you like that" Equinox said as he stood up and sheathed the katana. " She said something that bothers me..." Equinox said

Pinkamena heard a voice and she looked up to see Equinox holding onto that needle she threw. She teared up a little and smiled. "Equinox!" She exclaimed as she jumped on him and hugged him tightly. "You really have to stop trying to do everything yourself. One of these times, I'm not going to be here." She said to Equinox.

"I know...I need to stop doing stuff on my own...but I don't want anyone getting hurt at all" Equinox said as he looked at her . "I don't want you getting hurt either" Equinox said. " come on let's go this place is giving me the creep" Equinox said as he got up. "What she said though still bothers me" Equinox said

Pinkamena just smiled at Equinox's comment. She got up when he suggested that they leave and headed towards the door. "Alright, that's all six of them, who do we have left?" Pinkamena asked Equinox. "And also, what did she say that bothers you so much?" She added to her question.

Pinkamena listened to Equinox repeat everything that Stone had said to him. "I'm not sure what to say." She started. "I mean, the princesses have never been wrong about things... Have they?" She asked,  a tinge of worry and confusion could be heard in her voice.

"In not sure...she was right though but...I wonder if what I am doing is right at all" Equinox said as the wind started to pick up as he coughed again. "The wind has picked up...strange" Equinox said. " We need to head to the castle and kill Queen Black Hole...the reason for all this mist is because of her" Equinox spoke as he looked towards the castle

"When we return, we'll ask the princesses why." Pinkamena said as her mane began to blow in the wind and heard Equinox cough. "Are you sure you're okay? That cough seems to be getting worse." She asked Equinox. She looked over at the castle as well. "Maybe if there was some kind of time spell, this could have all been prevented." She muttered under her breath.

"There is a time spell but it only takes you back a few days and it's sealed in the library with the other forbidden spells" Equinox said. "Trust me...I'll be fine...it's just a bad cough not dangerous whatsoever" Equinox said as he was stopped by guards. "What buisness do you have here with Queen Black Hole and Princess Dusk" The guard asked

Pinkamena had followed Equinox to the castle. She had put her hood back up so she wouldn't be identified by others. "If it gets too bad, we're getting out of here." She said to him as they were stopped by guards. She stayed silent and let Equinox do all the talking.

Equinox pulled out the emblem he was given the last time he was here. "Stand down guards you know who i am and why I am here....I need to speak with Queen Black Hole and Princess Dusk" Equinox said as the guards stepped to the side. "Our apologies Captain Equinox we didn't know it was you" One of the guards said. "It's fine...Lieutenant lets get going" Equinox said looking at Pinkamena. "We don't have all day"

Pinkamena knew what Equinox was doing and she played along. "Yes Captain." She said, fighting back a grin by how stupid she must have sounded. She then followed Equinox. "That is really weird calling you "captain", you know?" She whispered to Equinox after they passed the guards.

" You could have just said yes sir but yeah we just need to keep this act up until we get to the throne room." Equinox said as he walked passed more guards who salutes as he walked by. " So far none have questioned me on how you became lieutenant...that's good to know" Equinox said

"Now you tell me." Pinkamena said sarcastically to Equinox. "I'm not really that surprised, they probably think I'm just some officer from another unit from somewhere else. And the fact that I'm with you makes it even more conspicuous. So, I would think it will be an easy stroll to the throne room." She said.

" Yeah...that is unless they suspect me and they are just waiting for me so they can kill me" Equinox said. "Even more so I need to worry about Solstice...He has power that is stronger then me...he'll when I first fought I almost called back Deranged to gain power....hopefully that never happens again"

"If Solstice does come and confront us, I'll be right next to you to take him down." Pinkamena said to Equinox. "Anyways, you'll need my help since, you know..." She grinned and pointed to her forehead, implying about his broken horn. "That might be an issue." She finished.

""I don't always rely on magic so I'll be fine" Equinox said as they arrived to the entrance of the throne room. "After all...Deranged said if I ever needed help I could call him back and he would come back to help me" Equinox said as he opened the door and was met with Queen Black Hole standing over the body of Princess Dusk

"Hopefully you don't have to bring Deranged back to you. I don't want to deal with that again." Pinkamena said as she followed Equinox through the door to the throne room. When she entered the room, she saw a large alicorn mare standing over the body of another. "Uhh... Equinox?"

"Queen Black Hole...what have you done" Equinox said. "I simply got rid of a pain in my side....SOLSTICE" The queen called as Solstice appeared. Solstice looked pissed as he looked at Equinox. "So...you killed the Mane 5 that were a threat...and now you here to kill the queen...I'M NOT LETTING YOU KILL HER...not after what you did to Zalgressa" Solstice said as he drew the katana from it sheath. "Do you think you could kill me....Equinox...after killing the one I loved..." Solstice said as he charged straight towards Equinox.

 

  Equinox blocked the attack. "Round two I guess is what you want" Equinox said

Pinkamena saw Solstice come out and begin to angrily attack Equinox because they had killed Zalgressa. Pinkamena wondered if Equinox would do the same if She had died. Taking off her bags, she put out two bandoleers of blades and wrapped them around her. She then took out the collapsed scythe and opened it, spinning it around while it did. 'I'll leave Solstice to Equinox and I'll take the queen.' She thought as she rested the scythe on her back and threw a few blades at the queen as she rushed towards her.

Equinox and solstice both clashed blades. "What are you going to gain from this Equinox....THIS PLACE...my home will be perfect now that Dawn is gone for good" Solstice said. "Those times I helped you I was hoping you would stay out from here...but instead the Princesses sent you...well now that you are here let me send you back to hell" Solstice said as his blade glowed with a dark aura. "Darkdrift" He sent a wave at Equinox who summoned a bright green blade from the hilt. "Moonlight wave" Equinox fired  green wave the crashed with the other attack causing a explosion of green and black smoke. "Now's my chance" Equinox said as he threw the great sword to Solstice before running towards and behind the blade.

 

  Solstice smiled before stopping the great sword but was taken back by Equinox who brought his katana down and grabbed the sword before slamming it into Solstices arm.

 

 

Meanwhile Black Hole glared. "So...you think you could take me on...you are mistaken little one" The queen said as he summoned a Scythe her self and was clothed in black robes. "You are a fool for taking on the Queen on Equinox"

"I'm not afraid of you." Pinkamena grinned as she charged the queen. "You'll make for an excellent trophy. I might even put you above the fireplace instead of Fluttershy." She added as she used the scythe as a pole vault and launched herself into the air and came down at the queen with the scythe ready to swing.

The Queen stopped the scythe before moving out of the way. "I say child do you not know how to use a scythe better then that" The Queen said as she spun the scythe and swung straight at Pinkamenas head before switching it to the blunt end to strike her.

 

Solstice groaned as he got up and looked at Equinox. "So...now you use multiple weapons now...well then" Solstice got up and smiled. "Guess I shouldnt go easy any more....I really don't want to kill you but I guess I have to...won't be able to torture you but hell I'll make you die slowly" Solstice said. "Save it Solstice...I won't lose to you" Equinox said as he got up to solstice and slashed himm but he disappeared into smoke. Solstice then swung the katana down and hit Equinox causing him to bleed where he was kicked by Rotten Bunch.
