Pinkamena watched as Equinox had gotten up and pulled the blade from out of his body. She looked at Youmu and smiled. "You're in for it now." She said as Equinox used a spell card that caused a devastating attack upon Youmu. At the end, Equinox was holding her own blade against her. "Nice job." Pinkamena said to Equinox.

"Any last words before I end your life" Equinox said. "Please...you can past...just don't kill me..I need to. No I have to protect her so she doesn't get killed" Youmu said. "Well...you should have thought of that before impaling me with this blade" Equinox said as he pressed the blad against Youmus neck causing it to bleed

Pinkamena looked at Youmu and thought. "Hold on for a quick moment Equinox." Pinkamena looked over and said to him. "I have a couple questions for her." She added as she looked back at Youmu. "Who is this "she" that you have to protect and from what?" She asked Youmu.

"Yukiko is the one who I protect so she isn't injured..the Scarlet Twins want her alive because beyond here is pretty much the  way to the Scarlet Palace..." Youmu said. "Also...if she dies then I die...but It'll be fine if I die" Youmu said as she closed her eyes. Equinox looked at Youmu before taking the blade from her throat.

Pinkamena watched Equinox take back the blade from Youmu's neck and pondered at what Youmu had just said. "If the Scarlet Twins or whoever they are want her alive, what makes her so special and why do they want to keep her alive?" Pinkamena asked Youmu.

"She's the one keeping the flow of magic and everything together but she can't leave her place or else...something really bad will happen and no one in Gensokyo wants that" Youmu said. "Fine then" Equinox let Youmu go before sheathing his own katana. "Anymore questions before we leave" Equinox asked

"No, I think I got everything I needed." Pinkamena said as she looked at Equinox. "Now I know who not to kill." She finished as she looked past the bridge towards the direction they were heading. "Let's finally get home." Pinkamena said as she started to walk.

Equinox sighed before stabbing Youmu in her arm before catching up to Pinkamena. "I can understand how she feels....wanting to protect that person...still though she didn't have to impale me" Equinox said looking at the wound before sighing. "Hopefully this will all be over soon"

"I understand too, but you did accept her challenge to you, even if it did get you ran through by a sword." Pinkamena said as she looked at his wound while they walked. "Once we get home, we'll get that patched right up." She added with a smile. "Just as soon as we find a way home."

Equinox smiled. "Alright...let's just hope we get sent home and nowhere else at all" Equinox said. "If there is a guard in front of the gate let's just hope he or she is stupid so we can just walk on by..." Equinox said not waanting to deal with a whole ton of guards.

"If there are any guards, they should be easy pushovers." Pinkamena said with a smirk. "Besides, we can always sneak in. That shouldn't be too hard." She finished as the castle had now begun to come into view. Pinkamena looked at it and sighed. "Well, here we are."

"Yeah...but it is just one guard...and she is sleeping" Equinox said noticing another girl with red hair wearing a Chinese green dress with white pants and a green beret sleeping at the front gate. "This seems to easy" Equinox said. "This just seems way too easy"

Pinkamena looked at the girl with red hair who was guarding the front gate. "You're right, this does seem to easy. Or the castle has no enemies as no one is stupid enough to try and sneak in." Pinkamena said to Equinox. "I'm good for a simple sneak by, unless you're thinking something else.

"Let's just go on by before the guard hears us or wakes up" Equinox said before climbing over the gate. "Let's get going" Equinox said as the guard was still asleep. "Laziest guard ever...." Equinox whispered before he looked at the castle. "Sakuya...this time...if I have to fight you I will not die" Equinox said

Pinkamena nodded in agreement and scaled the gate. Once she got over, she landed softly on the other side. "I don't know... There's one back home who is always sleeping and I can always sneak into th... And pretend I said nothing." She stopped herself as she looked at the castle. "First things first, avoid Sakuya at all costs."

Equinox looked at Pinkamena. "You know what...I'll ask later but ignoring Sakuya and making sure she doesn't find us will hopefully be easy" Equinox said before he went around the long way instead of heading through the front door. "first thing though let's not use the main door"

"Yeah, hopefully." Pinkamena replied as she followed Equinox around the side. "You got any plans on how to get inside? If not and if the castle is the same, I know a spot we can get in to the castle from." She said to Equinox. "Only problem is that it leads in next to the guard barracks."

"Anyway would be great besides I was thinking of climbing up the wall but that would take way to long" Equinox said as he looked up. "Guard Barracks won't be a problem....if I use my magic and stop time for a few short seconds then we should be fine" Equinox said

"Good. Follow me." Pinkamena said as she walked off around the castle. "We'll have to go through the garden first to get there, but it'll be close by afterward." She said back to Equinox as she got near the entrance of the garden.

"Alright..." Equinox said following Pinkamena before stopping and looking around. "Great...can't sense any of them at all...niether of the twins or the maid" Equinox said as he went to catch up and saw the entrance of the garden. "How do you now about this exactly" Equinox asked.

"No reason." Pinkamena answered semi-sarcastically as she looked into the garden. "There are a couple guards on the far end, but they shouldn't be a problem. Our destination is in the other direction." Pinkamena said as she crept in and took to the hedges to conceal herself.

Equinox just walked behind one of the guards before pulling out the two blade and killing them both before sighing. "This is too easy...something isn't right about these g-" Equinox stopped as soon as the guards burst into flames before the bodies disappeared

Pinkamena watched as Equinox snuck up behind the guards and was about to tell him to leave them, but he killed them before she could say anything. She went over to him and was surprised as the bodies burned up and disappeared. "You didn't have to do that. We would've been perfectly fine just going around them without causing any form of trouble." She told Equinox.

"They weren't actual guards...they burst into flames...I have no weapon or power able to cause that" Equinox said as he went through the barracks before stopping time. "We have 30 seconds let's go" Equinox said as he got to a hallway. "Never thought you would be back a voice said.

"Doesn't mean they couldn't be some trap that you triggered." Pinkamena said looking around. "But, it seems nothing happened, so it might be safe." She finished as she went through the barracks. She waited for Equinox to stop time and began to go. "It's over here..." She started to say, but was cut off by another voice.
