This is probably the console of the decade for retro gamers. It will play games from over eight different consoles using original cartridges even and will also offer emulation features like speedup, slowdown and savestates for those who don't want to play a game in it's original state.

 

It has it's own Bluetooth controller but has ports for all the original controllers as well.

 

I want it sooooooo bad.

 

I just hope that they start re-releasing some games in cartridge format so some games we'd be able to play on this are easier to find instead of just being for people who still have the old games.

I have to admit, I like that design. That alone makes me want to buy it. The controller looks a little weird, but at least you can use other controllers. That's a plus in my book. All in all, this RetroN sounds impressive. Using original cartridges, controllers, and having emulation features makes this bad boy worth it in my opinion. Also, only $99.99. Not bad.

I'd be all over it if I had a job. That is super cheap for such an awesome machine. I just hope it doesn't have emulation errors and bugs. I don't think it connects to the internet so patches will be impossible so they'd have to re-release games made specifically to play on this if something like that happened.

 

Either way, Rocket Knight Adventures and Castlevania Bloodlines, here I come. Too bad it's not also Sega CD or else I'd love to get Lunar 1 and 2 for that. (Though I hear the original versions are WAY harder than the PS1 versions)
