Ponies: Darkshallowers: Tends to be the rouge of the ponies, they steal and hide in darkness and often misunderstood, diggers: A pony type smithies and electricians, also warriors: ponies who stand on two hooves with large hammers and brutal ways of fighting

I'm definitely in. I like the feel of the story: almost post-apocalyptic with a classic good vs. evil touch. I'm an enthusiastic writer and have been forever since my passion in writing evolved. I can commit most definitely and can hold character as second nature. It would be a real pleasure if you accepted my involvement. You and Thunder-Dash seem to have the story covered but if help or extra ideas are ever wanted I am another mind to add to the pot.

Also, If this character isn't one you would like in your plot, let me know so I can make another one

 

Character:

 

Name: Sandpony (Grey Tail)

 

Race: Digger

 

History in subsequence to the story: Grey Tail grew up knowing little other than the metal cities in the world. As did the rest of the world, he became accustomed to the death and the fears that lurked by every corner. His father was a major enthusiast in the ideas of the old world economics, teaching Grey Tail all sorts of trades. He encouraged the young pony to read the old world books he kept in an underground library. This became Grey Tail's sanctuary, his home. In the countless old world books he developed a serene knowledge of sometimes the most simplistic things but also the intricate. A personal favorite of his was the book: Mr. Sandpony. It spoke of a detective who wore a gas mask to conceal his identity as he captured criminals with the most cunning of techniques. Upon his adoration of the fabled Mr. Sandpony, Grey Tail followed suit, sometimes pretending he was tracking criminals or discovering the meanings behind different occurrences.

An innocent young pony didn't fit in that world though...one day when smog covered his home city of metal as the young pony played in the desecrated street, Grey Tail heard fierce growls and the sound of clanging metal not far from where he was. Unable to control his curiosity, Grey Tail tracked the noise for hours, eyeing evidence and clues as they led him finally to a dark alley...where the wolves awaited him. He should have expected this. A second before turning to run, Grey Tail heard the familiar voice of his father behind him tell him to run. He was about to protest when the wolves were upon them. Fearing for his son's life, Grey Tails father attacked the wolves with sharp metal piece of some regard and was successful in ensuring their retreat before falling...mortally wounded. Grey Tail changed that day as his father died in his hooves.

For many years, Grey Tail evaded others and hide from the orphanages. He lived in the unground library...waiting...learning...until finally after almost 6 years, the pony emerged forth from the metal city. A gas mask upon his face, a suit upon his back, and silent vengeance in his heart. Grey Tail was no more...the Sandpony lived.

Aero Orchard-- grey tail is accepted, all ideas will be great, so if you have some, let me know. So far I can draw up your pony's history of holding his dad in  his hooves and saying his last goodbye. Niccola the "metal mask" of light, will meet each of the ponies who signed up to play. So far the story starts with a fair going on the streets, and niccola holding a sharp eye out to people who looks useful. The fair is called, "Luminate"

Aero Orchard-- when did your character start wearing a gas mask? was it when his city was covered in smog and before his father's death?  Edit: oh sorry so he is wearing a gas mask while pretending. Is it ok for the film intro of your char, to take off his mask when his father passes away??

Great!

I was wondering though, what's the setting. I mean I understand the prologue and fairly understand the atmosphere of the story but the physical style of the world...I guess I need to clarify. I can create just about anything you could want in your story: characters, cities, items, food, creatures, songs, etc. If you ever get stumped, I would be more than willing to help

 

But anyways, in reference to the RP, how many characters will we need before we begin?

A few characters, not too much. But if there isn't much Bronies to join. I will make sure to run the story with those who signed up. about five or less is ok. since one writer can have up to 2 chars, if one char dies-- you may make a new one. The setting is a metallic world a future in 2080's. All ideas are welcome in this thread, the other thread is for play. I would love city names, and songs and voice overs when the first scene is done.
