@@Ampharos,

"N-no thanks, I just- this is my stuff and it's very delicate. I mean no offense it's just I don't know you or anything yet," He said trying not to offend his feelings though it felt like he was failing.

"Ummm so what's your major?" He asked trying to change the subject.

@@thor9356,

Volt smiled nervously. "Heh, yea I guess... Oh I'm majoring in electrical engineering! I feel like my ability could come in handy in that field. How bout you? I assume it's some sort of tech related thing?" Volt wasn't honestly planning on doing anything with his major, since he wanted to be a weather pony in Baltimare. But he needed something, and electrical engineering was the only thing that had even slightly interested him.

@@Ampharos,

"Well ummm currently, I'm enrolled in Computer Security," There was more to this than he let on but Back Track kept that hidden for now. The unicorn packed his laptop in his saddlebag, getting ready for the library and read some of the textbooks. You could tell that the colt was uncomfortable.

(Sorry I'm late)

Pelate trots into Equestria University and he signs in and moves on. "Wow life went fast, through high school and now, im in EQU" he cheerfully said to himself. "We'll I should head for my dorm. I'm roomies with blaze finder it seems."

Pelate goes up some stairs and I to his dorm room 'nice place' he thought. Pelate finds a flame colored pony inside. 'Wow he's like the me with opposite colors' Pelate thought "uh, Hello, It looks like I'm your room mate. I'm Pelate." He says in a causal tone dropping his luggage on his side of the room. @@Ampharos

After awhile Psych circled back to her dorm so she could unpack.  She was delighted to find it empty.  She unpacked her multitude of books and knitting supplies, along with her large wooden pill box.  She quickly grabbed her papers and headed to the library.

((Busy day, busy day. Sorry I'm late. Had to make the trip home from school via the scenic route, since I was dropping other people off too. I'm not complaining, they paid for the gas.))

((waitwaitwait. Are these all actually seperate dorm buildings? Or just different rooms in one dorm?))

Descant trotted busily down the long hallway that was the building that he had been informed he would be living in that year. He carried a simple suitcase, a heavy-looking backpack and an oddly-shaped case with him - the case was following him, engulfed in his maroon magical aura. He paused outside a slightly-ajar door, and glancing at the loose piece of paper he had been given with his rooming assignment, backed into the room, attempting to ease his stuff in without banging everything up in the process.

Descant tenderly placed his baggage on the floor, looked around, and spotted the pony that he was supposed to be rooming with. He stared for a couple of moments at the tacky-looking splotched coat, then smirked slightly, nodded politely in greeting, and looked away. I suppose I should have expected an appearance like that from someone named Camou Flage, he mused as he started pulling tedious-looking books with titles like Advanced Alveromancy and Audiomancy Techniques by Allegro, Back to Brassline Basics by Beauty Brass, and Magical Me by Gilded Lock-Heart out of his bag and onto his desk.

Camou looks up from his book and stares at the books that Descant has. "From the looks of your books, you seem to be into the arts, oh the arts can be quite marvelous to watch, anyway I'm Camou, I've come from Ponyville, I guess you'e my roommate." He doesn't want to say much though. "I hope he's not a jerk or judgmental."

Descant shrugged. "Yeah, music's my calling, I guess." He continued to unpack more tedious-looking books that were along the lines of the first few, then began organizing them busily. "I guess so," he agreed, referring to how Camou had guessed that they were roommates. He didn't seem to be in much of a conversational mood as he turned from his books to the dresser. Moving the oddly-shaped case out of the way, he began magicking ties and hats and scarves and socks and stuff into the dresser, where it all began to fit in neatly.

Camou looks up and checks to see if his lucky scarf is still there. Sure enough, it's still hanging on the back door where he put it.

"Excuse me, if you're organizing clothes and stuff, can you please not touch the scarf located on the back of the door, sort of a treasured gift my mom gave me." He sits there for a second, thinking about his parents but then quickly gets back to reality.

"Huh, we'll if it makes you feel any better I didn't cast a spell properly until... Three years ago? I blacked out and it blew up or something."

He smirked - it had worked out for the best at the time and, in a round-about way, was what had caused him to want to learn to use his abilities in the first place.

"Okay," Descant said, glancing over his shoulder at the scarf and the pony staring at it. "You all right?" He asked awkwardly, turning away from his stuff, and trotting towards his new roommate. Until, with a loud thunk, he tripped over the case he had left in the middle of the floor.

"Celestia knows... I really need to stop leaving that thing lying around," he muttered to himself, pushing the case into a corner of the room.

"Are you okay?" Camou asked in a curious manner. "Never mind that, anyway going back to what you said before you tripped, I'm okay just thinking about my parents and wondering what they're doing in the world and if they really wanted me to come here." Camou then let out a huge sigh still thinking about them.

"I'm fine," Descant mused as he dusted himself off fussily. "Just kinda clumsy." He froze as he heard the final part of Camou's statement, and slowly looked over at the colt. "I... You... Didn't you know your parents?" He asked awkwardly. If that was true, and Camou had no parents, then he, Descant, would feel pretty guilty about sneering at his patched coat...

"N-no I have parents," Camou said in a depressed manner, then stares at Descant in the eye, "They just left me long ago, they were just so disappointed in my lack of athletic abilities and my high intelligence, so I hide it in shame, I still have the lucky scarf my mom gave me to remember hoer by."

@@Ampharos,

"Look ummm, I got to head to the library and read up for my classes tomorrow, so I uhhh I'll see you around," He said awkwardly before leaving with his textbooks. Truth is the colt was happy to be by himself. Volt seemed like an okay fellow to the unicorn but he was always doubtful.

@@Psych Ward,

Back Track began making his way to the library at a comfortable pace. He was in no particular rush to get there either. As soon as the colt turned the corner he had bumped into Psych and ended up dropping his books.

"I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you like that," He said while picking up his books.

Psych frowned, picking herself up and untangling her overly large sweater sleeves.  "I-it's okay," Psych muttered, looking up slowly.   She glanced at the books, smiling softly.  "Were you heading to the library?" she asked hopefully.  She didn't trust herself to find it alone.

"Ummm yeah. Are you as well?" He asked the mare after picking up his books. The unicorn was staring at the ground avoiding eye contact still. Back Track detested social situations and was hoping he could learn to improve upon that in college as well. After all the library and computer lab were the only places he went to in school.

Psych Ward nodded eagerly.  "Yeah," she said.  "I-I'm just not sure where it was."  She frowned, noticing this pony didn't seem to sociable, something she only knew too well from personal experience.  She told herself to calm down a bit, not wanting to scare the stallion off.

"Oh- well I know where it is. I've been here a few times to shadow some of the student and observe some of the courses, though most of them weren't for me," He said while leading the mare to the library. The stallion seemed to lighten up a little around this mare seeing as how he wasn't the only one heading to the library.

"Ummm I'm Back Track by the way," He said introducing himself to the mare.

"Well at least you can use magic at all." Blazing said. "I come from a family of unicorns all with advanced magic, and then there's me. The no good, disabled, freak..." He added. He shook his head, trying to return to normal. "Sorry about that, I tend to get that way on accident sometimes.

"That makes sense," Psych nodded.  "I'm Psych Ward."  She walked beside him slowly.

At the sound of another pony's voice, Psych Ward turned her head.  She glanced at Back Track before nodding shyly.  If this school was going to surround her with ponies, she might have to rethink her plan just a bit.

Pelate made a bit of a concerned frown, "uhm" he had no clue how to respond, *ive seen shy but she's just plain silent. I want to talk more, but I now feel as if I'm offending her in some sort of way shape or form* Pelate just swallowed and kept walking beside the two ponies.

The young colt was taken by surprise when some random pony had come up to them and asked to join them. He didn't even have an opportunity to respond back to Psych.

"Uhhh sure," He said in a hesitant tone. Back Track was already beginning to feel uneasy just as he was learning to calm down around this mare.

"ummm I'm Back Track by the way, and this is Psych Ward" He said introducing himself and Psych while making their way to the library.
