Who will play Discord in Japanese? (CONFIRMED)

Season 1 has wrapped up in Japan. Next week Season 2 will begin airing, which means Discord will be making his Japanese debut. So, until then, why don't we pass the time until we get a confirmation on his seiyuu by speculating the crap out of the mystery man's identity?

 

I've narrowed my wish list down to four choices, along with my reasoning for each:

• Shigeru Chiba - He is a god among crazy voices. Buggy the Clown, Kefka Palazzo, you name it. He couldn't not come to mind.
• Toshio Furukawa - You may know him as Portgas D. Ace or Piccolo. I know him as Asura from Soul Eater. So there.
• Keiji Fujiwara - Kind of odd, I know, but he recently played a guy in a pumpkin suit in Fairy Tail, and it just sounded very Discord-y.
• Michio Hazama - He dubbed for Q in Japanese. It only seems fair.

What about you? Who would you pick to play the spirit of chaos?

 

EDIT: Well I'll be damned. It seems Shigeru Chiba will probably be playing Discord after all.

The link's in Japanese, by the way. And I'm a little rusty. But my good friend Dogman15 ran it by from good friends of his, and I think we can verify that this is most likely a confirmation.

 

I always thought about it since before the Japanese dub was released (not that I can prove that here). Can't believe I actually predicted something.

 

Well, I guess we can always keep this open to discuss who you rather would've liked to hear as Discord.

 

EDIT EDIT: Yep. That's Shigeru Chiba if I ever heard him. I'd recognize that squeaky voice anywhere.

If I had to pick, Toshio Furukawa since Piccolo is pretty badass so I say why not. Any of the voice actors can pull off Discord to an extent in Japanese of course.

Why is Tessho Genda not on your list?  He has one of the most badass voices in all of Japan!  For those of you who don't know, he supplies the vocals of this beast:

I'd have to go with Toshio Furakawa. All of the choices you gave would be pretty awesome Discords though. I can't wait to hear Discord's Japanese voice!

Well, aside from the fact that Tessho Genda plays the dragon from Dragonshy...he does not sound particularly Discord-y to me.
