Pixie wandered around downstairs for a bit, taking in the gloomy atmosphere. Somehow she felt it fit. 'The place seemed creepier in the daylight to be honest.' She thought to herself to lighten her mood, it didn't work. She figured she would check out the upstairs next, just to see the broken ceiling, as strange as that sounded to her.

Hurry up and get the buck out. Blazing mentally said to whoever was downstairs. He didn't actually say it, seeing as he didn't want to get caught. After that he just continued staring at the stone, thinking about everything that had happened to him recently. All it takes is one little enchantment... It's not that hard. His mind told him.

Pixie finally made it up the steps, being sure to jump over the broken one. She got to the middle of the room and looked up into the sky. She sat down. "Dear Celestia." The mare spoke, taking a deep pained breath. "What should I do...?" She asked, letting the tears finally roll down her cheeks. 'I swear... I've never cried this much in my life.' She thought, trying to wipe up the stray tears. "I'm just so confused."

Pixie finally made it up the steps, being sure to jump over the broken one. She got to the middle of the room and looked up into the sky. She sat down. "Dear Celestia." The mare spoke, taking a deep pained breath. "What should I do...?" She asked, letting the tears fall. 'I swear... I've never cried this much in my life.' She thought, trying to wipe up the stray tears.

No! How did she find me?! And more importantly why is she following me?! Blazing wondered. He didn't move or say anything though, remaining hidden behind the boxes. He had taken too long, he had to wait until she left to try anything. He couldn't just leave, and if he attempted to use magic something would reveal that he was there.

After a few minutes of watching the sky get brighter, she got up. The mare unraveled the pearl bracelet from her mane. "I won't be needing this." She said to herself, not even caring how weird it was to be talking to herself. Pixie put the bracelet on the floor, right where she sat underneath the moon last night. She took a deep sigh and got up to go down the steps.

After a few minutes of watching the sky get brighter, she got up. The mare unraveled the pearl bracelet from her mane. "I won't be needing this." She said to herself, not even caring how weird it was to be talking to herself. Pixie put the bracelet on the floor, right where she sat underneath the moon last night. She took a deep sigh and got up to go down the steps. 

Blazing couldn't watch anymore, he at least had to move a little bit, even if it was just looking away. Unfortunately he managed to collapse one of the boxes as he was turning, causing the whole tower to fall over. Buck! Buck buck buck buck buck! He thought angrily. Stupid crappy boxes... I was almost in the clear and then that one bucking box! He stopped himself there.

"I'm just so confused Blaze... I just don't want to leave, but I feel like it would be better if I did." She let her head drift down, so he would be unable to see her face as she spoke.

"I'm just going to tell you how I feel." The mare started. "I don't think you are ready for a relationship, Blaze. I do really really like you." The mare said, unable to say the word love just yet, as she took in a pained breath.

"But I can tell you it won't always be easy, we will both get hurt eventually."

"Clearly I don't!" Shadow said in defiance to what the pony said. It still couldn't figure out what was going on, and it couldn't shake this weird feeling of deja' vu. It squinted it's eyes and tried to see if it recognized this pony from somewhere before...

 

"No, there is something obviously wrong here," it thought, "Why does this pony look so familiar?" It walked closer towards the pony to get a better look, "Wait do I know you?"

Muddle slowly turned around, realizing what she had forgotten all morning. She sighed knowing exactly who's voice she heard, but still hopped she could be mistaken, "Please don't tell me..."

I just don't want to leave, but I feel like it would be better if I did." She let her head drift down and hit the floor. "I'm just going to tell you how I feel." The mare started. "I don't think you are ready for a relationship, Blaze. I do really really like you." The mare said, unable to say the word love just yet, taking in a pained breath. "But I can tell you it won't always be easy, we will both get hurt eventually." 

"Well I know it won't be easy, but is it really worse than suffering loneliness and depression for the rest of my life?" Blazing asked. Which won't last that much longer at this point. He mentally added. He didn't mention it, but until Pixie had showed up, Blazing had been waiting for the floor to collapse beneath him. At least then it would look like an accident... He thought.

The mare got up and turned towards the steps, deciding not to look at Blaze as she did so. She waited for him to tell her that she did mess up everything.

The mare got up and turned towards the steps, deciding not to look at Blaze as she did so. She waited for him to tell her that she did mess up everything.

"Trust me, I've gone through a lot, you haven't messed up that bad." Blazing said. He had gone through much more extreme rejections, so this one wasn't as bad as Pixie thought it was. "At least you were willing to say you do want me, that's more than any other mare I've ever met can say." He continued.

"Exactly! If I ever get the chance to I might come back and try to fix that place up." Blazing said. He probably wasn't going to do it, but it was little ideas like that that kept him from doing anything he'd regret. "Anyway... It's probably a good idea to go back to the dorm." He added, changing the subject a bit.

Being around a ton of other ponies would only make things worse. I'm not sure how to feel already, don't need other ponies making it worse.

She couldn't spit out that one word. This whole day felt like a dream, or rather a nightmare, a never ending horrid nightmare. Pixie just hoped it would have a good ending. 

"Um..." Blazing started. He wasn't quite sure what she was trying to ask, so he didn't quite know how to answer. I think I know what she's asking... But I don't want to answer yet, in case I'm wrong. He thought. He had an idea on how to answer, but he wasn't sure if it would work. "I think so..." He said, hoping he was right.

Pixie immediately felt embarrassed about even asking, she wanted to hide under the covers for a while.

 

"Uh well." She said getting out of her bed. Pixie casually made her way to Blaze and looked deep into his eyes.

"Then I guess I owe you something..." She mumbled. Pixie wrapped her arms around Blaze and whispered in his ear.

 

"I'm so sorry about earlier, will you forgive me? I was startled by what you said." She felt her face grow warm from embarrassment.
