movies/tv Anyone have experience with large flat plasma HDTV's and panel removal?

No technical forum around here... (or is there and i somehow overlooked it?) Might have to suggest that

 

Anyone have any experience in popping panels off large (50 inch or above) flat panel Plasma TV's?

Got myself a black bar after moving my TV, and reading about its either a loosened connector for my Y-board, or a bad board...

 

And while i can find stuff for older, thicker, plasma's, I can't seem to find anything for larger ones.. Things dangerous to move as is (needs 2 people or more, one little bend and it'll shatter if your not careful!)

 

wondering if I can put it on its small stand (on the wall atm) and the panel might come off with that on? Or will i have to find a way to lay it flat to get inside? .... Nearest repair joint is 40+ min out, and this things hard enough to move around. Not to mention the costs a repair shop would run me for a simple fix ($100 at best for the board)

Model Samsung PN50C7000 if anyone has any idea's...

not finding much more than its a common issue about the web.
