Months after time was restored, Light Streak landed with a thud at the residence of The Doctor after his daily flight. Light knocked four times before coming in, with no answer. Annoyed, he stepped inside the residence. To not find anypony. "Doctor?" Light called out. Suddenly, Light saw a note. Intrigued, he picked it up. The note said, "If you're reading this, I'm in trouble. Take the TARDIS and help me. And one more thing, watch the shadows." Light was puzzled, so he decided to take the note with him, and see if anypony else knew what was going on. Light grabbed the note and took off. It was time to find answers.

Something had happened. Derpy wasn't sure what, but it was probably worth panicking over.

 

"Doctor...?" Derpy ran to his blue box, finding a pegasus looking at something.

 

"Is DW in there? Hello, are you in your thingie?" She peered inside. "No?" She asked nervously.

Blasted Nova sped through the plains of Equestria at high speeds. It felt good to be back to his normal life of adventure and excitement. While running, he saw his best friend, Light Streak, flying through the sky. He began to run under him.

"Hey, Light! What's up?" He yelled up to him.

Something had happened. Derpy wasn't sure what, but it was probably worth panicking over.

"Doctor...?" Derpy ran to his blue box, finding a pegasus looking at something.

"Is DW in there? Hello, are you in your thingie?" She peered inside. "No?" She asked nervously.

"Can I come?" Derpy asked. She was worried about everything right now.

"What happened? I don't know what went wrong!

How are the others in Ponyville doing? Where's DW? What about Cloudchaser, Snowflake, Thunderlane, Rainbow Dash? Are they still okay?"

"I'm not sure, Derpy... But you can come along." Said Light, worried. "The only clue that we have as to where the Doctor is is this note." Said Light, reading the note to Derpy. "What do you think we should do?" Asked Light. "Should we take the TARDIS to find the Doctor?" Asked Light.

Blast followed Light to where he needed to be. He screeched to a halt beside him. 

More time traveling, Light?" He asked. He then noticed a gray pegasus. The first thing he noticed were her eyes, but he thought it was probably best not to bring them up.

"Blast, meet Derpy Hooves." Said Light. "She is a friend of the Doctor, and could be of some use to us." Said Light. Light hen turned to Derpy. "Derpy, or should I call you Ditzy? What happened when you last saw the Doctor?" Asked Light to Derpy in a wave of panic and fear.

Rakon, a younger teen age dragon around the size of one of the main 6 standing on their back legs, was walking along.  He was chewing on a piece of quartz.  He had been bored.  The talk his mother and her friends were having was a bit boring.  He had found their earlier talk of the best ways to polish and age one's gems interesting, but polishing your scales and claws sounded a bit dull, as well as if one should leave one's claws natural or add some color highlights.

Light kept talking to Blast when he noticed a dragon. "Huh. He could help us." Said Light, starting to walk to the dragon. "Hello, good sir, I am a pony in desparate need of help on an adventure, would you mind coming along?" Asked Light to the dragon in a fast pace.

Blast walked up to Derpy and tried to calm her down. "Whoa, whoa, easy there. No need to panic. We're gonna find all of them. Don't worry." He then turned to the dragon who just approached the trio. He seemed to be tall enough to look him in the eye without looking downwards.

"Blast, what do you think of him joining in our little crusade?" Asked Light. "Surely we can all get in the TARDIS, seeing that it is bigger on the inside and smaller on the outside." Said Light with a smile. "And we need to go soon, the clock is ticking for the Doctor." Said Light, looking in the distance and seeing a statue. "Blast... Don't blink..." Said Light.

"What happened? Never mind, we need to get the Doctor! We need to save Ponyville! Does it need saving?

 

"The last time I saw him I was leaving the blue box to get some muffins! It um... was about a day before this happened. He said he had something to do. Maybe it had something to do with this? Oh and a warning! Um, I can't remember..."

 

 Derpy tried to remember."It was umm... something about darkness?"

 

She turned to the stallions."Anyways, how can I help?"

Rakon paused, putting way the bit of quarts he had in his hand back into his pocket, swallowing what he had been chewing on.  He looked at the pony talking to him curiously.

"What sort of help do you need, and an adventure? Sounds like that could be fun." He said.  He liked the idea of going on an adventure, they did sound like fun.  "My mother'll be busy talking with the others for a while about dull stuff like polishing your scales, if you should add highlight or color your claws and other dull stuff, so I don't mind coming along." he said.

"Tardis, who's the doctor, another pony?" He asked not understanding some of what they were talking about.

"The Doctor is a time lord, and the TARDIS is his time machine. It appears as he's in a pinch." Light said to Rakon.

"Derpy, you could help by looking at that statue and slowly stepping into the TARDIS, we have an adventure to start!" Said Light.

"Blast... That's a Weeping Angel. Watch what happens when I look away." Light said, blinking. The statue had moved closer. "See? Keep your eyes on it and get in the TARDIS, then we'll be safe!" Said Light, backing to the TARDIS.

Rakon not fully understanding what was going on but that there was danger of some sort decided it may be best to get into this tardis thing the others had been talking about.  As fast as he could he tried to run into the tardis so he'd be, hopefully, in a safer place.  He would use his wings if need to to get to and into the tardis as fast as he could.  

 

"Come on, let's all get inside then if it's safe." He said to the others.

It was then that Light heard the steps. "You will be... Upgraded..." Said the voices. "Oh, no..." Said Light. "Zone worry about the angel, get in, NOW!" Shouted Light. "Zither cyber ponies are coming!" He shouted, ready to get out of there as fast as the TARDIS could take them.

Blast ran inside the TARDIS and waited for further instructions. He was ready to kick some cyber pony metal behind if the time came.

"Where are we going, Light? What time period is the TARDIS transporting us to?" Blast exclaimed.

"Light stumbled into the TARDIS with Derpy, Blast, and Rakon. "Anywhere but here, because I don't think that you want to get upgraded, right, Blast?" Asked Light, approaching the controls of the TARDIS. Let's see... This button here should do this, pull the lever and... We're off!" Exclaimed Light as the TARDIS started to sound the families VWERSH sound.

The TARDIS landed with a thud on a strange world. "Wait, I remember this place..." Said Light. "Gallopfrey!" Shouted Light, ecstatic. This is SO COOL! We're on Gallop... Oh... No..." Said Light, seeing that the world was broken. And standing in the midst if the rubble was a figure. It looked like the Doctor but... More grey...

"What is upgraded?" Rakon asked.  "I guess Gallopfrey is some pony city?" he said, he had not heard of the names of any pony cities really, not hanging around ponies much.  Not really in fact, apart from the ones who sometimes came to visit his mother and the few times he encountered a few ponies here and there.

 

He looked around at what he could see, "What a messy looking place." he said. "And who's that?" he asked pointing to the figure.

Blast walked up to the darker doctor whooves. "You okay, doc? You a'int lookin' so good, dude." He then looked at the world before him. The place looked darker and more polluted. Seemed like any normal anti-world to him. He returned his attention to the doctor.

"I don't think that that's the Doctor..." Said Light, watching as it disappeared. But with it came those sounds again. "You will become like us..." The sound said, drawing closer. "This is getting more and more cliche by the minute!" Yelled Light, readying himself. He wasn't gonna get upgraded tonight.

Rakon got ready to breath fire at any enemies that may appear, then he got an idea.  "Want me to fly around to see what the area looks like?" He asked the ponies with him.  "or would you rather we all remain together?" He asked looking at the ponies present.  He wasn't sure what was going on since all this was new to him.
