''Urg.. I hate art. Mostly because I suck at it.'' Splinter said. ''I couldn't draw a perfect circle if my life depended on it.'' He said with a shrug. ''I guess everypony has their ups and downs. And my downs outweigh the ups.'' Splinter said jokingly. ''Class starts in a few minutes. I think we should be heading over.''

Game had not heard a thing his friend had said. He only sat there and gave a dumbfounded smile and continued to hold his hooves together. He let out a sigh of great pleasure.

 

"Ohhh, art! How i love it so." He said still gazing to the roof of the school.

"Hmm, not sure. I have no idea where anything is and I don't have a schedule as I arrived late," Dusty told Nova.

"What class are you going to?" Dusty asked him.

Hmmm, perhaps I could just go to class with him if I can't find my proper class, Dusty though to himself

"I do have my schedule in my saddlebag somewhere, let me have a look here." Nova rummaged around through various books and papers in his bag and soon pulled out his schedule from the mess. "Ah, here we are. Says here that I have...math next." He put his schedule back and closed his bag. "I don't know where you're going next, and apparently you don't either. If you want, maybe you could come along with me, then you could ask the teacher if he or she knows where you could find out what your class schedule is." Nova offered. "Otherwise, I don't really have any other bright ideas. Completely up to you."

''Oooohh boy.'' Splinter said. ''He must really love art.'' Splinter said, grabbing his things and heading to Chemistry. I just hope he doesn't get too distracted.. Splinter thought as he took a seat in the middle of the class. Luckily, he came a few minutes early.

Game sat for a little while longer until he heard the warnning bell. He jumped looked at the clock and dartted for chemestry.

Game jumped in and wiped his forhead. 

 

"Wooo, just in time." He trotted over and sat next to his friend.

 

"Hehe, i got side tracked didn't I?"

''Yeah. Just stared at the roof.. Until the warning bell went off. That gets everypony in a jumble.'' Splinter said as a group of 4 tumbled in. ''What did I tell you?'' Splinter said, hoping Quartz would be in Chemistry too. ''So, what is Twilight like? I know she's really smart and all.. But you got to know her first hand.''

Game looked over to see the other four ponies walk in. Game gave a little chuckle. A smile rose across his face as he the name twilight ran across his face.

 

"Well." Game said, looking down, drawing a picture of his good old friend on a lose peace of paper.

 

"She... is nice, she is really smart and talented at magic." He continued as he drew twilight's face.

 

"She's also very beautiful." He said finishing the drawing. He then looked up at his friend.

 

"She's perfect."

Splinter said, admiring his friend's artwork. ''I think I can arrange a good spot we can all meet up at in Canterlot.. If you have the time.''

Game smiled and blushed as he did realized he had gotten a little carried away. Game smiled and nodded.

 

"Oh yes i have the time. I dont know if she would be able to she has to stay on campuos at Celestia's School for Gi-" Game paused as he felt his magic begin to activate. He looked up and before he could say anything a green flame bursted out of it, forming into a scroll. 

He winced as the fire just went over his friends head.

 

"Oh my celestia are you alright!?" He asked looking down to his friend.

''Fine.. Just nearly got me.'' Splinter said with relief. ''I think the more important question is.. What does that thing say? If it caused us this much trouble, it's got to be important. Maybe even a letter from Twilight herself!'' Splinter said with a grin. ''We still have some time before class! Read it out loud! But.. Not too loud.''

Game looked at his friend and then back at the letter. He peered over and looked at the other students. Evenypony seamed to be less the wiser. So he shrugged cleared his throat and began to read. 

 

"Dear Game Design." He began, reading loud enough just for Splinter to hear him.

 

"I just got the news from Celestia... I would have much rather heard it from you... Why didn't you tell me? Instead of having me worry. I thought you got kicked out of the school! But looks like that wasn't the case. Anyway i want you to meet me at the library after school.

Game Design let out a sigh. He looked to his friend with a forced smile and saddened eye's. 

 

"Well, looks like you get to meet her."

''Hm! That sounds good.'' Splinter whispered. ''I had some stuff there I wanted to research on the computers there anyway..'' Splinter said rather secretively. ''I can't wait to meet her! I just hope the day passes quickly.'' Splinter said as the teacher came into the room.

Game smiled and turned to the teacher. The stallion began to talk but Game wasn't paying attintion. He was worried what she wanted to say to him. He didn't tell Splinter but he could see stains on the paper that looked like Twilight had been crying. He sighed again and lay noticed the teacher had stopped talking and everyone had been doing something. He leaned over and whispered to Splinter.

 

"Hey, what are we doing?"

''I think it has something to do with mixing.. My favorite!'' Splinter whispered back. ''Yikes.. The letter looks pretty damaged. Do you think something is wrong?'' He whispered, noticing the state of the letter Twilight had written. ''Crap! It's one of the jocks!'' Splinter whispered as a large colt with a short blonde mane came into the room. As the colt passed by him, the colt gave him a dirty look and Splinter felt like curling into a ball. Trembling, Splinter flashed a fake grin.

Game waved his hoof.

 

"No, no its fine, everything's fine!" He said with an uneasy smile rubbing the back of his neck. Game noticed the "Jock" give his friend a mean look. Game shout back a mean look to the jock. He didn't want to fight, as his parents to never ever get in a fight, just chill out and walk away. At the same time, however Game wouldn't put up with the meanness of other ponies. He continued to give his look to the jock, snorted and went back to his work with splinter.

"So, what are you favourite subjects?" Dusty asked Nova, "Mine are: history, chemistry, art and english I don't mind."

"Oh please." He said with a smile.

 

"Their just like the fancy pampy ponies of the Canterlot elite. They act like their big and bad but their just little fillies looking for the next big pony to follow." Game then used his magic to conjer a little glass pony that looked like the jock that had looked at them and put on a dumb face and began to speak in a jokingly tone.

 

"Oh look at me, Im a jock. HUWAA!! I throw balls and run fast on the hoofball field!" Game laughed as he mocked the jock. He turned back to his friend and rubbed his muzzle.

 

"Well i was going to go see Twilight, but i want you to still meet her so if its alright i guess ill sit with you."

I think we mix this with that.. An-Oh crap!'' Splinter said before some mixed chemicals started flooding out of the test tubes.

Game's pupils shrunk. He quickly cast a small shield spell around the tube, keeping the liquid from touching him or Splinter. He let out a pant of releef. He looked at the tube.

 

"We need to switch this out." He looked around and then his eyes stopped on the jock sitting at the next table. He then grew and devilish look and winked at Splinter. He called to his magic and with in seconds their beaker looked as if nothing had happened while a panicked scream came from the other table. Game couldn't help but snicker.

"Alright, well let's get going then." Nova started walking to the math classroom, and on the way, Dusty asked him what he favourite subjects were. "Lunch." He responded with a big grin. "Seriously though, I like English. That's about it. I'm not any good at art though. Can't draw to save my life." He laughed. After a few moments, they arrived at the class. 'Well, here we are. Hopefully you figure out where you're going, If we don't share any classes, see you at lunch. It was nice meeting you." Nova smiled, and then walked into the classroom.
