Dear Society why am I the way I am today?

A hopeless wreck, an abomination to your eyes

Society, you’re what made me this way

You took me in and brainwashed me

You drowned me in medication and lied to me

You broke my mind and put me in your institutions

 

Society, I am angry

So take me into custody, and beat me to death

Tell my children that I was wrong, and take away my image

You don’t want me to be an influence

Because you’re the only one              

Society, you hate us all, and embrace us as slaves

And we all blindly turn and accept what we are given

 

Society, I’m feeling weak again

Break my legs, so I can’t move

I’ll never be a burden again

You’ve already wounded me, so take the final blow

What more will you take, Society?

 

Society, I have nightmares, so medicate me more

I’ll only dream for you and your perpetual sadness machine

I only wanted acceptance, but there’s nothing left for me

I’m just an outcast of every depressing social class

So remove me from sight, Society

Don’t let anyone see me

 

Society, I’ve waited

I’m lost because of you

The answers that you give me, none of them are true

I’m bleeding from my brain, and oozing my ideas

You put me out to pasture with a bullet between my ears

 

Society, there’ll be no more tears

I’ve cried my last for you

And here I’m banging my skull against the walls

I’m waiting to be free

But nothing will ever change

Society, why are you this way?

Won’t you please listen?

 

Society, I’ve been dead for years

Don’t you remember then?

The day you decided that I wasn’t good enough?

You tossed me off the cliff, and left me to rot

I guess my ideology saw through, however

Because, Society, I’m still here it seems

And still you hate

Medicate and rape

Tell lies and seduce

Murder and repeat the process tomorrow

 

Society, these are my final words

I’ve seen through your ploy

I’m sitting here in your jacket

Playing all your games

Silenced by your masks

And trapped by your walls

I’ve seen it all first hand

And now I’m calling out

So society, break my legs

Cut out my tongue, and remove my eyes

It won’t do you any good

For when my time comes again

My splattered brains will paint the truth for all to see

 

And then you and I will die together, Society
