I have been thinking about this for a few days, and I started to wonder: "When did people actually get the idea of Pinky Pie opening portals, and why?" Could anybody or anypony tell me why? Then we would discuss when?

I have never heard this, but when Pinkie does things such as keeping up with Rainbow Dash while she is flying much faster than she is walking.

Yeah, she seems to be able to pull of some unknown hidden earth pony magics that no one has really seen before!

It must be related to how Pinkie Pie breaks the fourth wall, or defies any logic in any physical and scientifically way possible. That's probably the connection.

When I think about it I'm pretty sure Pinkie Pie is an embodiment of Chaos like Discord. She likes fun, defies pyshics, and her mental state borders insanity.
