Now if I'm not mistaken, I believe we were getting attacked by a dragon...) Kreinbahthur had watched how the two handled the other creatures, and had to admit he was rather impressed. However, this was different. <Snowfell could die or be severely injured if hit by that flame, and I don't think Strong Hooves would want to get so close to that dragon... I'll 'talk' to it....> Krein formed a ball of magma and hardened it to a solid rock. He then threw it at the dragon to divert its attention from the other two. "And now I'll try this... but no one must hear us..." Krein used his illusion magic to create a spell to muffle his voice to where only the on he was talking to could hear. "^*^Be still, great dragon," he said in a strange language. "^*^ Who sent you here? THE WILD HUNT 213 February 26, 2012 Share February 26, 2012 (OOC: I'M FINALLY HOME! The bus ride wasnt as bad as I thought, save for the lack of sleep!) Kreinbahthur cursed as his concentration was broken, causing him to lose his illusion spell and connection with the dragon. "^*^ Curses! Stupid mare!" he shouted, still speaking in his ancient tongue. Krein tried to dart to the side, but was still hit by part of the tree which scraped his side. He tried his best to ignore the pain, and prepared to spew magma on the dragon. "^*^ Foolish lizard," he shouted. "You could've lived...." He pointed his horn at the dragon and fired. When it hit, it exploded in a fiery rain of fire and it set a couple of trees around the group aflame. It's guts flew everywhere, including right onto Snow and the rest. Kreinbahthur put a hoof to his mouth, realizing what he just said. <I'm not a war Imperator anymore... Death shouldnt be glorified...> He looked towards the flames, and immediately began to feel power... too much power... "God, please don't let me be tempted, not now..." he whispered. Glad you;re back anyhoo.) Snow was in the river washing the gore of herself. She stepped out, dripping. "There was no other option. The dragon would've squashed Strong if I didn't interfere. She walked up a pile of gore and stuck her hoof in without even flinching, coming up with a single black scale. "See this?" she waved it in the moonlight. "This is definitely a dragon that's been genetically modified. It seemed to have been woken from it's nap and sent after us personally. No way does anything like this"-she held up the scale-"happen naturally." She dropped the scale and rinsed her now bloody hoof off again. The way he stopped while she was fighting the dragon concerned her a little bit. Aw, who am I kidding, she smiled to herself. I don't even have a right to judge based on my past. "A long, long while," she said. "Any shortcuts you know of?" (OoC again: Going to sleep...barely gotten any this week and it's 1:15 a.m. here XD Se ya tomorrow. BTW what was your comp for?) Heard about genetic modification... Not sure how they got a hold of this one though. Dragons... Aren't known for getting caught so easily, unless of course there's something in it for them." Krein looked towards the sky for a while in thought. <And hopefully, territory isn't one of them.> He looked towards Snow and Strong. "Actually, I do... It's a rather uncharted land however, so be on gaurd for any suspicious ponies." (ooc: sorry for the double post, I cant edit from my phone.) Kreinbahthur shot Snowfell a suspicious look, but quickly looked away in case she might notice. He pointed in the direction of the strange land. "You two go ahead. However, I'd advise that you guys wait by the border of that area, and keep yourselves hidden. I have to go and check something really quick." With that, he spread his wings and flew towards a hidden cave. <I need to make sure HIS bones are still there. For all I know, Snowfell is either Krosis' daughter, or accomplice. THE WILD HUNT 213 February 26, 2012 Share February 26, 2012 Kreinbahthur landed at the mouth of the cave and entered. He created a small, floating fireball to light his pat and ventured further into the cave until he stopped at an area of glassy ground. "Now let's see if he's still here..." He used his magic to break pieces of the glassy area. After awhile, he finally cleared out the small hole and peered inside.
