[Courageous Thunder Dash 7,824]

Thunder Dash looked around at the few riders and dragons he saw. Shock plopped himself on the ground and let out of sigh that kinda blew Thunder's hair around. "I know, I know you wanna do stuff. But be patient my boy, we'll get to the good stuff soon." Thunder Dash said gently rubbing Shock's scaly body.

Baron and Zercrux decided to wait for someone or some dragon to appear. baron sat against the rock wall and went through his bag to check and make sure everything was in them. Zercrux stood guard to make sure no hostile creatures or people attacked. and if they did he would make it their last. Zercrux would give his life for his rider, and baron would do the same for his dragon.

Dark simply sighed, and nodded. "So, what do you want to know? She asked.

Tempest sighed as he watched the others. "I might as well get something to eat." He muttered, before glancing at the others. "The cafeteria is next to the rooms you'll be staying in. As for the headmaster's office, it's east of the cafeteria. Take the first left, and it'll be the first door on the right." The young man then walked into the cafeteria, and got a plate of a assortmemt of many different foods.

Strife began to become anxious and had an idea. he started pulling out all his chemicals and ingredients and laid them out in in front of him.

"Strife, what are you doing now?"

"I'm going to see if I can attract any attention to us, hopefully someone will notice."

"I don't think that is going to w-"

"Roar Zercrux." Strife said as he finished mixing several potions.

"What?"

"Roar I said!!" Zercrux let out a tremendous roar that echoed around the mountains. while Zercrux was roaring, Baron threw a Potion high into the air. the potion exploded with a intensely Bright light that could be seen over a few miles. Baron walked over and touched Zercrux with his metal hand. "You can stop now, all we can do is wait and hopefully someone saw that flash or heard you roar. lets cook us some breakfast while we wait."

Zercrux licked his snout at the thought of it.

Shock noticed the new dragon and turned to face him. He saw that protective look in its eyes and took a step back. Shock had the impulse to growl but kept it in. Thunder Dash felt the energy flowing through Shock and knew that Shock was trying to regulate it's energy levels. Thunder Dash then turned to face the new rider and dragon. "Hi there. The names Thunder Dash." Thunder Dash said.

"I shall be with the rest of you in a moment, I'm going to take a look around." Mr. Bonecrusher told the group, he then faced his dragon and spoke in a language Dukaan would know, "Dukaan, versuchen, etwas zu essen zu finden, der Flug hierher war lang, so dass Sie es sich verdient haben." (Dukaan, try to find something to eat; the flight here was long so you've earned it.).  The dragon nodded and flew off, hoping to find nice and meaty to dig his serrated teeth into and start ripping and tearing.  Meanwhile, Ludving Von Bonecrusher was walking about; stepping over rocks and just admiring how gorgeous the place looked: it almost looked like, to him, a Japanese island but with more dragons.

 

He then remembered that he took his sledge hammer with him and unstrapped it from his toned, muscular back.  He then started talking to it, "Es hat eine Weile her alte Mädchen..." (It has been a while old girl...)  Just then he heard a loud roar, defiantly one of a dragon, He peaked over a near-by rock and noticed a rider and his dragon, as well as one he over heard was named Thunder Dash arrive.  He re-strapped his hammer to his back and hopped the rock, introducing himself as he did so.  "Why hello there!  My name is Ludving Von Bonecrusher, what is yours?"

Baron looked up and the newly appeared people and dragons. "I told you It would work Zer."

Zercrux rolled his eyes and walked next to Baron to make sure he was ready to protect him.

"Hi. umm my name is Baron, Baron Strife. people call me by Baron or Strife though so whatever you feel like. Nice to meet you Luuuudving von Bonecrusher, I hope I said that correctly, and hello to you as well Thunder Dash. are you guys Dragon Riders too?" Baron held out his metal arm for a handshake. "oops sorry wrong arm." he then switched hands.

"smooth move there Strife." Zercrux smirked.

"shut up Zer." Baron whispered to his dragon.

"Yep, this is my boy here. His name's Shock." Thunder Dash said. Shock let out a deep growl as sparks flared all about his scaly body. "Yeah, he's an electric hybrid." Thunder Dash said. "What'd I tell you about growling Shock? Jeez! This is like the third freaking time. You're setting a bad example." Thunder Dash scolded Shock. Shock let out a little sigh.

"cool. this is my dragon Zercrux. I'm actually not sure what type of dragon he is but watch this. show them Zercrux!"

at that moment Zercrux turned away from them and shot a blue flame from his mouth. it was an incredibly rare occurrence that a dragon had blue fire instead of red, even though it had no special properties. "cool huh?!" Zercrux was amused with himself at that moment.

"Do not worry, you did say it correctly, Baron."  Then a random thought popped into his mind, "Are you a real Baron," as soon as he heard what he said he instantly face palmed and quickly said, "Never mind, don't answer that.  Anyway, yes, I am a dragon rider...in-fact, one second," he turned around, back facing the two others, cupped his hands over his mouth and yelled in a very loud voice, "DUKAAN!"  the voice echoed through out the cliffs and reverberated off of every wall.

 

Meanwhile, in the near mountains, Dukaan was ripping and tearing the flesh off of a dead corpse, he wasn't sure what it was but he didn't have time to eat the rest, for he heard the loud call of his rider.  He left his meal, beat is wings and lifted into the air, heading straight for the voice.

 

Mr. Bonecrusher was waiting, he had been waiting for approximately 1 and a half minutes, but he had to wait no longer as his dragon flew right over head, sounding like thunder as he landed right behind his rider.  Dukaan's massive size seemed to dwarf the others and their dragons, finally, Ludving Von Bonecrusher introduced the dragon, "This, is Dukaan."  He turned towards his friend and asked him to say hello to the others, to which the dragon replied with a low rumble from throat.

Zercrux nodded a hello to the large dragon in front of him. Even though Zercrux was small he did not fear those who were bigger than him even a dragon as fierce and ruthless as this one.

"wow that a pretty big dragon there." Baron said while petting Zercrux along the neck.

Ravek was still hanging by her dragons neck when everyone was introducing themselves, and everything was going by quite quickly too. Ravek was just practically beaming, this was an awesome opportunity. She was actually going to a school that trained you to be a proper rider, to actually learn how to ride and fly and everything. And she only knew so much from talking with her dragon and just by practicing what she could.

Creature watched as the other dragons and their riders were moving around the area and flying off and such, while her rider and herself watched. Creature knew that Ravek was tired of the introductions now, since all of them were practically done. But Creature could also feel her hanging rider smile to the heavens, something Creature was appreciated. Ravek wasn't always happy, and Creature looked after her, but at least Rav was happy now. 

 

Creature moved without warning to her rider, towards where the other rider had pointed certain areas out, and gave directions. 

The academy was actually quite open plan, though it was a place where your were with dragons and not every dragon could fit in hallways. Everything had wide open areas for entrances, except for the rooms and the offices, but the cafeteria was definitely open plan. 

'Little one, may I peel you away from your joy so that you could do as the first rider here said? I would like get started with our time here.'

 

Ravek looked towards creature, her smile still as wide as it could be. But Her dragon was right, they should probably go and do stuff. 'Sure Creature, I think heading towards ze rooms would be good'

Ravek and creature were just talking within their minds, something they did more often then not. Creature could speak but chose too, sticking to be more of a hunter than anything else, Rav was the talker.

 

So creature walked towards the rooms area, and Ravek was swinging from her dragons neck. Maybe this could be her new form of transport, though her arm would get sore after a while.

"That is rare. maybe your dragon is a fire/ice hybrid. I've heard of hybrids before but most hybrids still breathe red fire. Blue fire breathers are indeed rare." Thunder Dash said as he continued to think.

 

Shock was also in deep thought as he watched the dragon breathe the blue fire.

"Maybe, but id prefer to keep it a mystery. I dont care what type my dragon is, hes like a brother to me and nothing is going to change that. We've been together since we were both very little. We saved eachothers lives at that time and we havent separated since."

"That's fine with me. Mysteries are always the best." Thunder Dash said as he patted Shock, which caused small bits of static to flare about. Shock then spread his long wings, stretched and let out a big yawn. "I know. I know. You're bored..." Thunder Dash said continuing to pat Shock.

"So where is the academy at? Thats why i had my dragon roar, to get someones Attention. And now that a rider has appear do you mind showing me where? Id much like to know where me and my dragon will be staying."

"As would I." Zercrux said to Baron Strife. Both were ready to get settled in.

Orion smiled slightly, and nodded. "Thanks. Anyway, I would like to know your name." He said. "My name is Orion, by the way." The dragon then smiled slightly.

 

Shadow stretched as she stood up, and walked into the cafeteria. She entered the area, and picked up a plate, before getting her food. The young woman looked around for a few minutes, before sitting down next to Tempest. "So, what exactly are we going to be learning here?" She asked.

Dark smiled slightly, and nodded. "My name is Dark Opal." She said. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Orion. By the way, do you mind if I ask you something?"

 

Tempest glanced at Shadow, and smirked . "You'll learn how to fly your dragon, how to take care of them, how to fight, and how to make your own weapons out of nothing but raw materials." He said. "You'll stay here until you are 21, and that is when you decide to either leave or stay. Most people decide to stay, though. If you do stay, it'll be your job to basically train the next generation of dragon riders, which would be you and the other new riders and dragons." The young man then finished his meal, and disposed of the remains. "Do you have any other questions?" He asked.

Shadow was slightly surprised at what she would learn from being here, and shook her head. "I don't have any that are inportant at the moment, but out of curiosity. How old are you?"

 

Orion smiled slightly, and simply nodded. "I don't mind. What do you want to know?"

Tempest was slightly surprised by this, and simply laughed slightly. "I'm about eighteen. I actually came here when I was eight, and I can't remember a time where I was happier, that I wasn't here." He said.

 

Dark thought for a moment, and sighed. "Never mind. It was nothing important." She said, blushing slightly. "Anyway, there are other caves in the surrounding mountains. Just pick one that isn't already claimed."

Ludving Von Bonecrusher had arrived back at where the others were and had over heard everything, despite being in the back of the pack. "Hmmm, this will be very neat," he faced his dragon and asked him if he could find a cave to sleep in on his own, to which Dukaan replied, "One that is not occupied, correct?" "Yes, that would be best. Good luck." And with that, the dragon lifted into the sky and flew off towards the mountains to find a home.

Zercrux and Baron strife touched down right after Dukaan took off to some unknown place. "where do you think he's going?" Baron said to his dragon.

"Probably to find a place to sleep, didn't they say that riders and dragons don't sleep in the same place?"

" I don't know probably. you probably should too then, make sure you don't stumble into any unfriendly dragons. I don't wanna have a bad rep the first day here." Baron said as he slid off Zercrux and stood next to him.

"No Promises."

he snickered, then took off to find a cave for himself.

"so Ludving, where do we get some breakfast around here? I'm starving!" he said as his stomach growled.

Orion smiled slightly, and nodded. "Ok. Anyway, I'll see you later." He said, before flying away to find a cave to call home.

Mr. Bonecrusher looked at Baron and thought for a moment, scratching his shaven chin as he did so until he finally said, "Please, call me Mr. Bonecrusher, if you want of course, but I think that Tempest said there's a cafeteria in the academy, somewhere.  Ask him, he might know."

"Tempest? who's that? you gotta remember I was the one who couldn't find the actual academy in the first place." Baron said in an embarrassed tone.

"And I don't really think its that necessary to call you Mr. Bonecrusher. if your a fellow dragon rider like me then I consider you my friend. and I call my friends by their first names." Baron said trying to be as formal as possible.

"how bout we both look for the cafeteria?" Baron asked.
