She turned towards the others. "Wait RIGHT here!" she said with an ordering tone both worried and strict about it. Within a flash two dark halos appear surrounding her as she focuses becoming a small sphere dissapearing within it.

At the same time the reverse thing happens near Clockwork... "Clockwork Green! Stop!"

Clockwork was invisible, but still stood close to where he had vanished. He could see Selune, looking for him. He squinted, seeing she wasn't going to miss much. "This mare is going to be troublesome, I can smell it already.." He moved slowly and silently around her, and got behind another pony who'd wandered up next to Selune's flank on the left. He shoved him into Selune and moved away. "This should be sufficient to make my exit." He thought to himself as he wandered away from them both.

The pony who'd been pushed was an odd one. His mane was wiry and black, and his coat was white, and covered in little ink stains. He appeared to be a clumsy, and strange individual. He looked at Selune with great worry, having bumped into her so suddenly. "Ss-sorry.. We didn't mean t-to.. Hm.." He laid down on the ground and hid his head under his hooves, as though she was about to beat him.

No pony was shoved out of nowhere. She knew the pony was not lying... Probably though it fell by accident on her... But she did not.

 

"CLOCKWORK GREEN YOU HAVE SOME ANSWERS TO GIVE ME!" She pushed the pony aside

 

"YOU CHOSE TO HIDE FROM THE WRONG MARE!!!"

 

Her horn glowed black and then started glittering. Her eyes were swriling with magic as she scouted the area towards which he had dissappeared. A large stream of glittering sticky dust came from her horn as she attempted to cover Clockwork Green in it so he would be visible to all. Even if he did escape he wouldn't go far since he would drop glitter behind.

Muddle turned towards Sidesplitter and raise her hoof to scratch her own head. She wasn't sure what had caused Selune to start acting so stern, or what had caused her to run off. "Has the thought of 'somepony just died' not crossed our mind yet?"

 

Muddle shook her head and thought, "Not true, this has to be at least the second time it has."

 

Off to the side shadow said, "You must feel so accomplished." 

 

She focused again on Sidesplitter and said, "At the moment Selune."

Lucid heard the screams and didn't move "I'm done with these stupid games I'm safe here and might as well stay, but where is that Clockwork green, why hasn't he returned, oh well, I must destroy that machine" insane thoughts and greedy feelings began to  flush his mind "with that machine the pegasi will be useless, they will be put in their place.... and unicorns will reign" then he thought about what he just had said and shook his head, "what was i thinking......" why am I so... selfish.... whats going on..... maybe I should go outside.... maybe i should.... I better just wait here"

After finally climbing the ladder Sparky looks back towards city hall and sees the crowd start to spread out. He sighed in frustration and climbed the ladder all the way back down again. Curious at why the crowd was dissipating, Sparky walks to the same mare he met earlier and asked with an annoyed tone "What happened this time?"

Lucid had made up his mind "I'm going, I gotta see what going on here!" he ran out to the street and saw a large crowd, he swore he could have heard clockwork greens voice and the voice of another pony and tried to look past the huge crowd with no luck he kept his distance and hoped for an opening.

As Selune's spell glazed the area where Clockwork had been, it fell blankly on the ground about her intended target. Nopony was where she thought he might have been. The odd pony at her hooves had taken a great interest in the sparkling glitter flying about, and was attempting to catch on of them as it floated down by him. "Hmmhmm.. Pretty. What does one use magic for? Suit Twister is confused.." He raises a brow, anticipating the response.

Clockwork had made his way out of the crowd, hearing the mare yell to him from behind. He kept moving away, and finally took to his wings once again. He sailed over the building where Grey Danger stood, causing a sudden gust of wind as he passed by invisibly.

Selune cursed from inside her... "Ugh... i missed." She couldn't fly and it would be at least painful to try and drag him back again. He wouldn't hide for long... "This spell was supposed to cover the one who shoved you onto me with a glittering sticky dust that would allow me to see him despite his invisibility. I am sorry... did i hurt you? I didn't mean to."

"Oh.. no.. Of course not.. hmhmm. Suit twister is undamaged." His head twitched oddly as he looked directly into Selune's eyes with a piercing stare for a moment. "You seek the inventor.. The maker of mechanical wonders. You're trying to solve the puzzle which has plagued the minds of the city for weeks.. A dangerous path you tread.. Hmm hehe." He smiled "If you should wish the talents of Twister to aid your travels down said path, he will gladly lend a hoof. Hehahah." Suit Twister held his hoof out to shake Selune's. It was stained black from what appeared to be ink. "We are pleased to meet the one who is called Selune Darkeye. Hmmhmm"

Suit Twister looked nervous, he hadn't expected an interrogation. He stood still as Selune asked, and answered. "Many things we can learn from you, the thought clouds speak to us.. Yours told us your name. Hmmhehe. We can hear many thought clouds in this place.. as though we were submerged in a see of voices.. We just choose which to listen to, and today we listened to you" He grinned.

I suppose you have been hearing these voices since you were young?" In the meantime she inspected him carefully scanning every inch of his body and head with her eyes for the ominous chip.

(OOC- Suit Twister will hear your thoughts when you type them out, as long as he's close by. He also knows names, due to how ingrained they are in anyone's psyche. Also, he won't have a chip, just so you know.)

 

Suit Twister was becoming uncomfortable with the close attention he had been getting. Nopony had ever looked at him so thoroughly before, they mostly avoided him, for obvious reasons. "S-Suit Twister h-hears your inner voice.. but only when it speaks. What does Selune search for? P-Perhaps we can show her instead? Heh" He grins awkwardly and fidgets as she examines his head, finding nothing out of the ordinary. Just unkempt mane and the odd black stain.

Lucid walked up to see 2 ponies, one male, one female. "Who could these be... and why does this one guy say, 'we' instead of 'me', this is very peculiar." with a trembling voice he shyly said "hello?" in an unsure tone to the 2 ponies he encountered.

Suit Twister's eyes snapped to the unicorn who'd just walked up to them. He grinned, Selune cut in as his mouth opened to reply to his greeting. "Suit Twister has no missing pieces.. hmmhehe! We see things, but only in our sleep.. mhmm. Nothing missing here" He smiled knocking his hoof gently against his cranium. "One who is called.." He squinted for a moment, peering into Lucid's eyes. "Lucid Dream.. We are Suit Twister." He grinned broadly, extending a stained hoof to shake.

"I am gonna ask you two a thing before i talk to your more. Have you guys had any memory gaps or hallucinations or anthying related to those two?"

Lucid gave an inquisitive look  and replied "y-you talking to me ma'am?" Lucid replied, still unaware of what she was talking about.

He turned to see Suit Twister.

 

 

"Suit Twister has no missing pieces.. hmmhehe! We see things, but only in our sleep.. mhmm. Nothing missing here"

 

Lucid thought "probably mentally disabled... odd how he speaks in third person...."

 

 

"Lucid Dream.. We are Suit Twister."

 Lucid started to say "My name is.... wait... how do you know my name, and for that matter... why do you talk as if you are multiple ponies?" he asked. Then thought to himself "this freak show must be insane... and physic... better watch what I think... ulp..."

Suit Twister laughed maniacally at the confusion and sudden realization Lucid just underwent. "heheheee, very good. You have figured us out, somewhat. hmmhmm. We speak as though there is more than one, for there is. hehahaha! There is me, and there is I. One on the outside, and one inside. Within.. without. Hahaha. Together the pieces make the whole. We are one, but we are separate at the same time. Hmmhmm.." He grinned. "We are not broken.. we are more together than you could ever know.." Suit glanced at the ground at his hooves, kicking the pavement. He looked as though he'd been offended, but was more sad than angry about it.

Lucid stepped back in shock and disgust of this pony, now the safe santuary of his thoughts where open to this mainiac. "Well... I guess theres no point of thinking to myself in front of you." lucid said in a stern tone. He was angry that this pony could read his thoughts, scared and confused. "I'm going to kindly ask you... not to use your phycic ability around me. I know your little gimmick. And I wont stand for for it," Lucid said in his most intimidating tone he could muster. "I catch on quickly, and I know your a maniac. So let me make this very clear," Lucid's horn lit up, charging a shield spell he called "spirit mine" (( OOC: which can stun anything that touches him)) "I will not hesitate to defend myself. Is that clear mister Suit Twister?"

Suit Twister cowered at the sight of the unicorn's shield powering up. He feared the pony's tone, thinking he had once again put himself in danger with his odd abilities. It wouldn't have been the first time somepony had stricken him for it, most were revolted by his presence after moments of contact. "N-no, We're sorry mr..Lucid.. mm.. we didn't mean to offend." He hid his head under his hooves.
Selune's words comforted him, enough to come out again. "Y-yes.. Selune understands us..We are happy to help.." Looking back at the angry unicorn, he cringed with an awkward smile. "Thoughts cannot be ignored.. We cannot control it, it's just a part of our nature. As leaves on the trees follow the sun and a dance to the bees." He hoped this would diffuse the anger, but he kept his distance from the shimmering aura around the unicorn, hiding behind Selune, who had seemed to be much more pleasant to him.

The mare turned around, finding the same pony from before asking yet more questions. "I don't know, I couldn't see anything from here. I saw a pegasus swoop in, and then something happened. I couldn't tell from here." She trotted off, looking for answers herself.

Muddle looked at the sky with a bored expression on her face. She had been standing there for what seemed like forever. Following Selune's orders were starting to take its toll on her attention span, and not knowing what's going on was starting to kill her. She thought possibly talking with her friend might help her, or at least brighten the, overall, sad scene. 

 

"So Side... How was your meeting? Did everything go well?" She looked over at the mob of ponies swarming the crime scene, "At least until now?"

Sidesplitter was still trying to catch her breath after she saw the group, but as soon as she did, Selune told them to stay put, leaving for whatever reason. She tapped her hoof in impatience untill Muddle spoke up.

 

"Huh? Oh yeah, it went surprisingly great. Just booked me a few gigs in more popular comedy clubs in Canterlot. So far I've been doing just a lot of small stand up joints, but now I'm taking the next step in my career!" Despite the mood of the rest of the crowd, she was pretty upbeat about her moving on in the comedy business.

 

"So, um, may I ask what happened? I'm guessing another victim huh?" She said, going back into her worried state.

Lucid kept his shield at full charge, prepared to activate the power of spirit mine at any second.

Besides that... i think i know what Mr Suit Twister is talking about. He refers as one self his side that speaks and acts, the other side thinks and calculates... of course i could be very wrong but still... This could be useful... this means no more lies, no more hidden thoughts from those that know the truth but don't reveal it... This could help us figure out what's going on in this town."

 

Lucid Turned and looked at Selune "Miss..... Darkeye is it?" he began to speak to her "May I ask you what is going on, I just came from the laboratory of Mr. Green, Clockwork Green, and now he's gone, what is going on? What is happening with these disappearances? And why is there a crowd rioting, I have many questions, I just would like an explanation, and I might be able to help."

He turned to face Suit Twister, "Listen, I have nothing to hide. However, I do know of a few ways to have you put in a mental institution where you belong, where you deserve to be. I have dealt with a lot of maniacs... But not as insane as you, never have i meet a mind reader, one so powerful that he can intrude my thoughts at his whim and play with our minds, after thinking about it, I think that being exposed to  all those thoughts could drive anypony insane, perhaps you have even lost the ability to judge with all this opinion and emotion, is that true sir?" he began to feel sorry for this pony, but still stayed stern and as threatening as possible "Just in case, I must proceed with caution with this pony, he has infinite information and so much power, perhaps he could even be the cause of this entire mess, I have nothing to hide... I'm not working for anyone, but if he has an evil intention and wants to misuse information. I cant hide anything from him, but until then, he seems to have honest and good intention," he thought to himself, however all of his thoughts where being broad-casted to this pony, which made him feel uncomfortable, but at least Lucid was pretty sure he was on his side, but still kept his shield.
