Clockwork was thoroughly unimpressed with the whole situation. He Turned around, and yelled. "EVERYONE OUT! NOW!! I'm closing my doors, and everyone must be outside!" He glanced about the room to everypony as the room fell suddenly silent, then continued "I will be going with these police officers for questioning.. I'm certain they will find nothing against me, and we can all resume our wonderful little meeting once we're all back on track." His voice was filled with snappy sarcasm and came across rudely, but very much warranted by the way everypony had reacted to this whole ordeal. "Selune, I appreciate the gesture.. but I simply mustn't allow you to throw yourself under the bus like this.. You and the others must continue your search without me for a time. I will be back, don't worry." His last word seemed almost serpentine, as though he were almost taunting her mildly.

The blue officer stepped up to Clockwork, and motioned him to stand aside. "We aren't blind, madame.. We have been watching this city diligently, and have found substantial evidence enough to bring Mr. Clockwork in for questioning. We won't be throwing him in jail without fair trial or anything, don't worry about that. What you might want to worry about is lying to police though. That will be something you'll need to explain, if you don't mind." He raised his brow at Selune, knowing now she'd been putting him on. Lucid's remark had been his tip, regardless of his previous skeptical notions.

The two other officers were beginning to lose their cool with the Silver. "You just shoved an officer, breathed fire and resisted arrest.. On top of that, you're claiming to be some escaped test subject or something. What makes you think you're going anywhere but the station?" The red officer shot a nullification spell into the shield, dispelling it, just as his counterpart fired a tranquility spell directly into Silver. This would slow him down, and sap his energy for the time being. "There now, relax and don't bother trying anything else, you'll only make things worse for yourself than they already are." The officers both stepped forward and contained Silver once again with their paralysis spell. "Things are just getting weirder and weirder every day around this city."

"Weirder and weirder is right, and I've only been here fir 2 hours." Lost Thought continued to sit from a fair distance away. She contemplated helping the Silver pony out, if nothing else, because she found that story interesting. "Genes might not be my area of expertise, but with abilities like that I might have to start learning." 

 

 

The Silver pony was lucky that she found talk of a murder more interesting than a test she probably could not do, "At least without some pony dying... Eh, don't feel like it..."

 

 

She overheard that there was evidence  proving Clockwork's involvement in some sort of crime, She continued taking note as fast as her hooves would let her,

Silver started getting a little fed up with these cops,but he knew they wouldn't give up till he either killed them,or forced them to stop,so he stopped,closed his eyes and started meditating,when he opened his eyes,he was still at the same spot,he looked at the two police that caught him and blinked as he kept silent,secretly though,he had a plan.

"ARE YOU INSANE? DO YOU WANT US TO GET ARRESTED FOR MORE THAN WHAT THEY ALREADY ACCUSE US FOR??? PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF CELESTIA LET ME DO THE TALKING!!!"

Her lashing out at Lucid was probably not the best thing to do and she would probably pay for it... but she could at least try to explain it to the authorities.

"FINE! You want to know the truth? You'll have it! I wanted to keep in contact with Clockwork Green as much as possible... i recently received a letter from my friend Terra Lionmane back at Canterlot. He is a Royal Guard in the service of Princess Celestia, and he should be arriving at any moment now... he posseses information on Clockwork's case, and past actions... I wanted to keep an eye on him until he arrives. Not to mention the fact that justice has to be served, and Clockwork deserves a representative, someone who will advise him on matters of the law. Believe me i am all for finding the culprit whoever he/she is, but i am not the one to allow justice to be un-fairly carried out. I will back off if you wish... but expect an Earth Pony Royal Guard at your doorstep soon enough."

The officer smiled smugly. "Sure lady, a layer and now friend of the royal guard eh? You're full of good stories today.. Well, even if you aren't telling another tall one, he'll have to come find us at the Dodge City Police Department, because I'm going to need all of you to come in now. Associating with a suspect is enough for us to have need of as much information as possible. And since you seem to have a vested interest in the disappearance cases, you might be even better off to come with us to share what you know. It may aid in our own investigation. Now, will you please come with me?" It wasn't really a question, regardless of how it had been posed. The officer clearly wanted them all to follow him now. He glanced around at the group, his gaze hesitating slightly on the white, ink stained pony. A look of amusement and intrigue crossed his face for a moment before looking back to Selune, awaiting a response.

The other two officers had Silver in containment again, after much struggle, the white officer had managed to lift him with a telekinesis spell, and they were now carrying him out. Both were trained on him with their combined spells to keep him immobile, not letting him go for fear that he'd loose another fireball at them, or worse, some innocent passer by.

Selune sighed and noded having nothing else to say... She prayed that Terra would come, but in the meantime she had to know why Lucid did all this. He was supposed to be their ally! Why the frick did he do that? Wasn't he a friend? What the hell was he thinking he would achieve with this? Couldn't he WHISPER IT? She made sure to keep both Suit Twister and Lucid Dream close. ((OOC:Once we reach our destination i intend to have Terra show up))

When silver was outside and completely out in the open he again searched his mind for the paralyzing spell,he again found it and broke it,but this time,he used his own telekinetic power to break from the Police's,he growled and held them both in the air,making the movement function of their brain not work and their memories were beginning to be demolished,of course,as a side-effect to all his powers,he had a window of time before they froze completely,he threw them aside and let them go after he started running off,this time,he was hoping they wouldn't chase him,he hid in a dark alleyway and sighed hard "...I really don't like doing that to those ponies...Police or not,it just...doesn't feel right when I use it on them..."he states softly to himself.

"And suddenly, this pony seems more interesting..." Lost had wanted to speak to Clockwork, but from what she was hearing, "I think I'll know exactly where he going to be when I want to have word."

 

She quickly jolted down any last minute notes she thought should be made, and started to trail the pony. She ran past Clockworks door and over the the two officers. As she ran, Lost looked right and saw a brown, red haired mare, and her eyes slightly opened she realized who it was. "Buck me... Well no time to reminisce." Lost ran even faster.

Muddle was slowly getting a grip on where the situation had gotten, but what was she going to do? Law was never her strong point, and she would hate to blurt out something to get the group in more trouble.

 

Muddle was about to follow the officer, along with everyone else, when she saw two swirled yellow eyes. Muddle jumped back in shock. "The buck is she doing here!" That felt like the first time Muddle had cursed in ages. More importantly, Shadow felt as if its line was stolen. It slapped Muddle's jaw, accusing her of strong language.

Silver blinked and looked behind him and saw this mare following him,he gulped softly before he stopped as he slowly started to turn around,getting his flame breath ready,this power too had a side effect,if he held the fire in too long,it would explode in his face,if he used it too much,he wouldn't be able to keep from passing out,so he had to time his breaths perfect,though he had a pretty large window before those both happened.

"Crud, Crud, Crud, Crud!" She had forgotten. She also didn't think that he would go on such an offensive for some he had done nothing wrong to him. She quickly grounded her hooves and made a u-turn for the nearest cover from the flames. She had also made a mental note: aggressive.

Silver blinked,noticing she wasen't a cop,nor here to hurt her,he was about to put out his fire,but as soon he was about to,the flame expanded in his mouth and made a loud explosion,knocking him back before he got back up and he winced in pain "Owwww...S-Sorry lady...I thought you were after me...please forgive me..."he says and sits,waiting for her to come back out.

Lost had heard the explosion. She looked left and could still feel the heat coming from alley way. This was even better than she had expected. She quickly jolted down even more notes, at she she would have if he bag wasn't on fire.

 

"Buck!"

 

She jumped out from cover and started smashing the bag into a wall. Eventually, the flames died out.

 

She sighed in relief. Then she brushed herself off and turned her attention towards what she considered a kid. (She's going to call you that no matter what.) "Yesh, I thought I would be shish-kabobbed by my inventions exploding; not some fire breathing kid." She kept her distance, "Just who are you anyway?"

@, (just realized something, she's standing in between you and the exit to the alley, and she probably just hid behind a dumpster.)

 

She stared at the pony, still questioning whether it was a good decision to come here or not. She also had to think if it was a smart idea to give him her name. ​"Well clearly he's not with officials..." She kept her eyes locked on the pony as she started speaking, if he were to make a move she would know and hope fully react. "Well Silver, My name's Lost Thought."

"Well how do I react to that?" Lost rolled her eyes, breaking sight with the pony for just a second. Then she resumed her focus. She responded to the stallions comment in a sarcastic tone. "Terribly sorry, but unlike another mare I know. I don't respect flattery." Any other day, and possibly it would have been a nice comment that she could joke over; but not now.

Lost was shocked that he had walked up to her so casually. She was more shocked that he had said she could 'tag along.' "I'm sorry if what ever that fire thing messed up your head bit, but I don't really think its 'if I want to' right now. If you haven't noticed, you let a mare with no connections to the police follow you." She turned around and started to walk off, "You clearly have no idea what your doing, but since you remind me of someone I knew. I guess I can let you tag along," She added smugly, "If you want to?"

 

This had been the first time in years she had seen a pony with 'special abilities', and the fact that she could have sworn that the mare she passed was Muddle only made this turn of events more interesting. Still, it would be horrible for her if she let a kid like him run wild like he has been. Too many cops and someone might spot her. Of course there was also the infinite amount of questions she had for him as well, but that's if he choose to accept her offer.

Silver narrowed his eyes on her a moment before looking back and he sighed softly before shrugging "Why not,I mean,it's not like I'm gonna just be cop free..."he says and starts following her,he couldnt help but stare at her flank from time to time. He couldnt help but ask,since he wanted to meet the ponies he had risked his entire freedom for,"So...do you know those ponies back there? The ones that the cop wanted to question or something like that?...I really wanna meet them..."he says,smiling slightly.

 

(At this point in time,he is kinda only 16-17,so he has...urges...Oh,and let those two be caught by the cops,Scribble informed me that he had a purpose behind taking him and Clockwork to jail...so yeah =P) @,

Sparky opens his eyes and finds himself staring at a white ceiling, seeing an IV in the corner of his eye, he immediately sat up and found he was in a hospital.He climbs off his bed,until of a sudden, he feels a sharp pain in his head and grabbed it. A nurse walks in and sees Sparky lying on the floor, so she runs over to him and helps him back onto the medical bed "What happened?" Sparky asked rubbing his head.

"There was an explosion at the city hall," the nurse started "and a piece of shrapnel hit your head, do you remember what you were doing there?"

"Uhh,no, I can't remember why I was there," Sparky muttered under his breath. "Well,if you want to leave,all we need to do is bandage you up and you can be on your way," she said smiling.

 

15 minutes later, he exits the hospital and decides to wander the town to clear his mind.

Lost Thought had looked behind her and thought, "great... now he really is reminding me of her." She continued walking a bit towards the left side of the street, hoping that they could remain unseen as they passed through the town. She still didn't have a map of this place, and her memory was dependable, but she thought that she could use her head to evade to police for the time being. Although, she had accidentally made the mistake of thinking for one. It wasn't often that had a... companion? (I guess capture from there.)

 

She sighed and answered Silver's question, "Possibly, I've herd of Clockwork through news and I was hoping to talk to him about an invention." She chuckled a little, "But I may have known another in the building from when I was child. That's actually why I followed you. You reminded me a bit of her, at least until that little display in the ally..."

 

A small part of her hair randomly stuck out; and she used her hoof to straighten it down, hopefully before it became noticeable.

 

(She's thinking, and no she doesn't plan to kill you. I will leave that to the real criminals in this town.)

Silver gulped,not continuing his sentence further,but he does ask "...this mare...you said I reminded you of her...does she stare at your flank like I do? Does she have powers?...does she do what I do?"he asked,he looked a little more noble now,more...mature...

Havoc hissed "Don't tell me another mare is bisexual/lesbian..." She states quietly into his mind.

Lost could tell she would get annoyed if she had to think about Muddle and the past any longer than she had to. She looked back, completely missing Gold, and answered Silver in a very terse manor. 

 

"A: We were kids, and besides it mainly her. I don't know if she still swings that way or not. B: In a manor of speaking yes; and C: No, trust me she doesn't." She turned around and continued walking, "Also lose the voice 'kid' I know what you were about to say."

 

(Joke here, Silver and lost are about the same age, give or take lost a year older.)
